I had coconut cream pie ice cream from turkey hill…they made it last year as a limited edition around february…my guess is it will be back next year as well. You could call Turkey Hill and I’m sure they could tell you for sure…

Would LOVE some of that Berried Treasure ice cream from Turkey Hill. Where can I get it???
Also, do you ever consider making an orange/ pineapple or a coconut/ pineapple ice cream? I've had these out west and really enjoyed them there but have not seen them since.

That’s right (the don’t call you the “T Hill Guru” for nothing!). Southern Lemon Pie will be available as a limited edition in April. Fat Free Southern Lemon Pie will be out from January through April.

SUSAN – Unfortunately our factory isn’t set up for public tours. Sorry about that.

BRUCE – No fat-free egg nog this year, but we’ll take it into consideration for the next. We’ve got a long list of suggested flavors that we reference for inspiration when it comes time to create new varieties.

BONNIE – We’ve seen places that offer bits of sugar cookies as an inclusion and, yes, it’s definitely good. That’s another one for our list.

CATHY – YES! FAT-FREE Southern Lemon Pie will be available January through April and regular Southern Lemon Pie will be available in April.

I was glad to see that Peppermint Ice Cream has returned to the stores for the holidays. Will Southern Lemon Ice Cream Pie also be returning? Those are my absolute 2 favorite ice creams. Turkey Hill is the only ones that make these ice creams. Please keep them coming and offer them throughout the year.

Has anyone ever heard of sugar-cookie ice cream as a flavor? I found a recipe to make an ice cream cake, by mixing apple pie filling with rum raisin ice cream, putting in a graham-cracker crust & covering with caramel sauce! I want to make this, but i’m not crazy about rum raisin, so i thought sugar cookie would taste good, does anyone agree?

FINALLY! A blog that contains one of my biggest interests but is posted so infrequently that it will not deter me from reading the posts! I was lucky enough to see the Big Cow at my local Wegman’s a couple of months ago. And it was an unlisted stop and there I was. Got to meet a couple of nice Turkey Hill employees as an added bonus. Made me feel like a kid for the rest of the day.

1/2 GALLON – Sorry about that! To answer your very good question, all of the nutritional information for our no sugar added ice cream is 100 percent true, even if it is sometimes hard to believe.

A little more “this” and a little less “that” have enabled us to cut corners on sugar and calories while maintaining serving sizes and tastes. Of course, we can’t really say what “this” and “that” are (our competitors would love that!), but we can tell you its nothing that isn’t list right there on the side of the container.

oops – forgot my message – you never answered my original question about the nutrition info…

no dinner for me tonight – but I did eat almost a whole half gallon of the no sugar ice cream… this is why I eat the NSA kind and want to double check the nutrition information. If I won the free ice cream for a year, I think you guys would lose A LOT of $!

JULIUS - We've seen cows do a lot of things over the years. They're a lot smarter than people give them credit for. As for flying cows (like the ones on our website), there was that cow in the nursery rhyme that jumped over the moon. Does that count?

GEORGE - We're sorry to hear about your dilemma. We'd love to make some crushed pecan ice cream to help you out, but our machines aren't capable of making such limited batches. How is it that Turkey Hill manages to make the tastiest (in my opinion) no sugar added ice cream and still have ~30 calories per serving LESS than the other companies with about a 10% LARGER serving size…? You guys are sure about the 70 calories per serving, right?

There is no Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, but there is a Black Raspberry flavor. Like you mentioned, you probably bought our Strawberry Cheesecake flavor from our Light Recipe line. But Raspberry Cheesecake does sound pretty good!
