LEARN ABOUT ICE CREAM ON TV AND THEN TAKE THIS QUIZ

Posted by: Turkey Hill Team

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 7:30 pm, the Food Network will be airing the ice cream episode of Unwrapped. According to the website, it’s the last time–at least for a while–that the episode will air.

In other news, there’s an 11 question quiz about ice cream over on AOL. Just a warning though, it’s not easy. It’s mostly about the history of ice cream (example: Who invented Rocky Road?). Test your knowledge here and let us know if you were able to beat our intern’s score of 5 out of 11.

We could only guess 5 out of 11 too. That was a pretty hard test! I guess that would be failing, but instead of getting an F I’m going to get a bowl of Peanut Butter Mania. My dogs and I Love it so much.

I guess I have watched too much food network tv, since I got 9 of 11 correct on the quiz! It was fun. Thanks for the link! and all your delicious ice cream!

I purchase the sugar-free & yogurt styles of Turkey Hill. It is sooooo NICE to have such a selection to choose from. Usually with the other brands, chocolate & vanilla & maybe a fudge ripple to select, I get very bored. So Thanks for giving me variety. Dot

5 of 11, should’ve done better with all the ice cream I eat. Maybe my happy tummy will help me win something, like a lot of ice cream, or a bag to bring it all home in,safely, not melted.

I am only sorry that I cannot win your
contest and receive free ice cream I can eat for a whole year. You see your plant could never make that much ice cream. All of it is so good especially the butter pecan. Thanks anyway

Henry Randolph wrote:

I love your butter pecan ice cream. The large pecans make Turkey Hill great !

Took the quiz but didn’t do well at all. I figured that was OK. As long as you guys keep making the ice cream I love, I don’t need to know any more about it other than how to eat it, and on that I am an expert.

The note that I wrote yesterday was considered SPAM-how is that-ha!! Just wanted to say that Turkey Hill has replaced Heathy Choice brand for me. Turkey Hill has better ‘healthy choices”!! I will not except another brand. Please keep MI on your list for delivery!! Thanks~~

Turkey Hill makes the best ice cream in America. Maybe some day I will be able to vist your facility. Just keep doing what you do—making the Best ice cream!

I have been addicted to Rocky Road and
Black Cherry for as long as I can remember (and I’m 77 years of age now). My wish is that you produce a low fat or fat free version so I don’t get so much flack from my wife…..

Trishow wrote:

I think your ice cream is sooo creamy compared to other brands I ate as a child. I also had an issue with a batch I bought and the problem was remedied quickly and abundantly. I haven’t switched back YET, and don’t think I will!

Turkey Hill Is my wife and my favorite ice cream. Unfortunately, we are away from home, west of the Mississippi, and cannot find Turkey Hill. Only two more months until we can get some.

I didn’t do very well on the quiz either, but was plesantly suprised when watching the unwrapped episode to hear my hometown Chicopee, Massachusetts mentioned as they were making the record breadking Blizzard from Dairy Queen. It was a few years ago, but the “cup” still stands outside the local Dairy Queen.

Just want you to know that when I had a slight problem with Turkey Hill, you people took care of it with great speed. I do use Turkey Hill Ice Cream every night in milkshakes for my husband who is very under weight and the Doctor said it is certainly doing a great thing for him. Thanks for being there for the public.

I got 6 right. It was much harder than I thought it would be.

I only got 5 right, and now I’m hungry for ice cream.

Don’t worry about the low scores! Our intern actually outscored some of us in the office who have been here awhile (although there is one self-proclaimed “ice cream genius” here that scored a 9 out of 11 on that quiz and she won’t let any of us forget about it).

WITH ALL THE ICE CREAM I EAT I SHOULD KNOW BETTER. I ONLY GOT 3. I GUESS IGNORANCE REALLY IS BLISS!!!

I missed the Food Network’s ice cream episode of Unwrapped. I hope if I had seen it I would have done better. Like your intern and Sandy S., I also scored 5 out of 11.

5 out of 11, I see my grade haven’t improved much over the years. It was a fun quiz though, Thanks Turkey Hill
