Oh my WORD! That is one sharp knife! Wow... I can't get over it. That's one knife I would NOT try to lick... and I got a little nervous when her spoon hand got a little wayward under the knife....

But MAN! Seeing that half-gallon of malt chocolate laid out in all it's glorious splendor.... Ernie, I'm so jealous! You truly DO have the greatest job on earth!! :)

I can't get enough of the black raspberry ice cream. For a change of pace, I make ice cream sandwiches with it and also love a soda. Just add some soda water and a bit of vanilla syrup....YUMMY!!!

I am an ice cream addict and am proud of it. Turkey Hill Ice Cream has always been my favorite. I thought that when I started the very popular low carb diet that was going to be the end of ice cream for me. BUT NO! Turkey Hill makes LOW CARB ICE CREAM and I LOVE IT! Keep it coming. I wish every one of you flavors came in the low carb variety. The biggest disappointment I have nowadays is when my supermarket runs out of the Turkey Hill low carb ice cream.

Thanks for the video clip I really enjoyed watching it. I notice that many of the flavors that are chocolate based or contain chocolate ice cream seem to be different types of chocolate. Chocolate Cherry Cordial is different than the chocolate in Neapolitan which is different than the Chocolate Marshmallow. Any thoughts of just a chocolate ice cream with the three types minus any inclusions? I'd buy it. I'd also buy just the chocolate in the Chocolate Marshmallow. I love it.

I complained to my grocery store manager that they didn't carry enough different flavors of Turkey Hill ice cream and he told me, if he carried them all, he wouldn't have room for any other brands! I said "So what, who would need any other brands?"! lol I wonder if my ploy will work?
Love Turkey Hill ice cream!

I watched you on your site about cutting the ice cream. Well when I was a young girl growing up, we would buy the neopolatan,(three flavored kind) and at that time ice cream was packed in a box. My MOM would open all sides and make slices of it for me. I wonder if I could do that with the Turkey Hill package now. July 8,2007 6:00pm

I fell in love with the Party Cake flavor when it was only a 'special' of the month flavir. It was very hard to get at my local Shop Rite(clark NJ) SO I hade friends at work (Trenton) who would shop for me. One day I came home with 4 containers! It was lucky that I had a cooler in the car or I would have been forced to stop on the NJ Turnpike and eat them all. You can't let Turkey Hill go to waste. Tell Ernie to keep up the good work!

One day I wanted icecream and our local supermarket had Turkey Hill pints on sale. The only flavor left was "Cookies and Cream" and so "hey its on sale" so I bought it (having never eaten Turkey Hill before. Oh my gosh!! I ate the whole pint that night and went back next day for more!! (Now I buy it in the bigger containers!) Question: Do you have a "Swiss Chocolate Almond" flavor by chance?? Years and years ago Highs Dairy stores used to sell "Swiss Choc. Almond"....have never found anyone that makes a flavor even close to it. Great job Ernie and all...keep up the (yum) good work!!!!

Denise wrote about a Southern Lemon Pie flavor of Turkey Hill. Is there a Lemon and Marshmallow? I used to love that flavor when I was a kid, but I won't say how long ago that was. Turkey Hill ice cream is by far the best you can buy in Upstate New York.

We enjoy trying all the new flavors when we see them in the grocery stores. The last thing we tried was the Mango Duetto - it was great; so refreshing on a hot summer day!
Ever since we 'found' Turkey Hill Ice cream after we settled in the Philadelphia area after getting married, we have converted many people to the brand. My family is from Pittsburgh, and was so happy when they were able to start buying it out there, since they had been eating it at our place for years. Keep supplying us with great flavors and excellent products Turkey Hill!

I just recently started making my own ice cream at home. One of the very parts that bothers me is being able to disperse the add ins evenly... so ironic that you should be talking about this when I was just complaining about it!!!

We love Turkey Hill ice cream. It's always creamy, not icy and terrific flavors.

If Ernie's looking for a summer replace
please give him my email address. I wouldn't mind "splitting" some containers of ice cream and then
preforming the ultimate taste test.

It looks like Ernie probably has the best job at Turkey Hill! I want to thank you for bringing back the Southern Lemon Pie flavor this year. It is one of our favorites and I was thrilled to be able to buy it this morning at Price Chopper in Taylor PA.

I have seen Ernie on t.v. before, a long time ago, probably food network channel. Where do you apply for a job like that. T. Hill is only 5 blocks from my house, have to get some chocolate malt before the thunderstorm comes. Bye

CJ - That is a good idea. We'll add that to the list of potential blog topics.

CAROL - We'll pass along your offer to be the "Bert" to our Ernie (a reference that made us all laugh, by the way).

CJ- that's a great idea for a blog entry- I'd love to know all of the flavors Turkey Hill has done. The Party Cake is primo, hands down my favorite flavor- I was fortunate enough to find it about 45 miles from my home yesterday! I was pumped!

WOW! and WOW! again. Almost 100 different flavors!? Maybe one of these Ice Cream Journal blog entries could be a listing of all the flavors that Turkey Hill currently makes and all of the flavors that Turkey Hill has ever made. I would love to know. What flavors are best sellers and which have not been well received?

Can definately taste the emphasis on quality in the final product.

I have to try that party cake flavor, but I don't think any local grocers carry it?

Is there a peanut butter & banana flavor? How about a fried banana?

That's it. I have no choice. I have to go and have some ice cream.
