I always keep frozen strawberries sweetened in the freezer. Defrost and serve over ice cream anytime. Put whipped heavy cream and cherry on top; perfect for everyday or company!

to loafer,

this would be great for you.

place some Turkey Hill ice cream sandwiches in a square glass dish, top w/ whipped topping and drizzle w/ chocolate syrup or chocolate shell topping. You can add nuts if you want, but that takes more effort, lol

You can share, or just grab a spoon :)

I think the Fried Ice Cream tastes a LOT like a snickerdoodle. And the Southern Lemon Pie rocks, I think there needs to be a move toward making that one permanent. Pineapple Upside Down Cake is pretty awesome too.

Sounds very tasty but keep the nuts. That's a question I have, why do so many of the flavors have to have "nuts" in them? I am not a fan of nuts and since you put so much in a flavor picking them out is not possible.

What a great recipe, I can't wait to try it. It would be easy to mix up the cookie and ice cream flavors to make dozens of yummy combinations.

Must make this for my husband! He would eat ice cream sandwiches every night if I had them. I'll try this with cashews -- his favorite nut. After this freezes I'll cut and wrap into individual pieces. Thanks for the recipe. I wish I had some now!

I once bought rectangle pieces of chocolate cookie,to make your own ice cream sandwiches, can put any flavor if Turkay Hill in between to make your own special sandwich. Mine of course is chocolate, and death by chocolate, and sometimews Butter Pecan, OH they are all my favorites!!!
This recipe sounds good for a croud!!

How about Snickerdoodle ice cream between two snickerdoodle cookies. Snickerdoodle was my husband's favorite, but we haven't seen it in the store for a long time. Will it ever come back? Now he goes back and forth between the Cherry/vanilla Duet and Candy Cane flavor. Love all the flavors and varieties of Turkey Hill ice cream .. keep up the great work and flavors!!!

A great recipe. My son's birthday is next week, maybe I'll give this one a try.

Incidentally, I found the list of current Turkey Hill flavors elsewhere on the website. But am still interested in all flavors ever produced. What goes into choosing new flavors? Who decides and how are those decisions made?

This look like a larger version of something we make at home. We take two homemade chocolate cookies and sandwich a dip of icecream between them. Voila! Icream Sandwich. We experiment with different cookies and different flavors of Turkey Hill Icecream. Our favorites are chocolate cookies with Mint Chip icecream, chocolate chip cookies with Dutch chocolate icecream, and snickerdoodles with French Vanilla icecream.
