SECOND SCOOP - FLAVORS AND PERSONALITY LINKED?

Ever wonder what your favorite ice cream flavor reveals about your personality or which flavor you’d be if you were a bowl of ice cream? Here’s your chance to find out.

They say our preferences for just about anything –- from cars to houses to dog breeds -– can reveal a little (or a lot) about who we are as people. Apparently even your favorite flavor of ice cream can indicate whether you’re shy or outgoing, a leader or a follower.
We’ve managed to track down a few of these online tests and present them here for you to try for yourself. Most of the tests ask you to choose your favorite flavor and then tell you what that preference reveals about your personality. Seems simple enough. This test is one of our favorites.
This one works backwards by asking a series of questions and then revealing what flavor you are based on your responses. And this quiz takes the process one step further by telling you which flavors you are most romantically compatible with. From the looks of it, strawberry lovers have very few enemies!

I hope you are well prepared as this will be a very hot day and NOTHING cools and refreshes as much as a nice dish of Turkey Hill Premium Ice Cream. I stopped at the store yesterday for a carton of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and will certainly put it to good use this afternoon when the temperatures peak out near ninety. Thanks Turkey Hill,

July 25th, 2007 at 9:23 amThe Tests were fun, not exactly accurate as I was Butter Pecan and that is not in my top 10 list of favorite Ice Creams.
We were just on a beach family vacation and tried the German Chocolate Cake Ice Cream on a recommendation from a friend. The Family went NUTS and it was gone in a flash. We search 3 markets to find another tub and it was not to be found…sure hope that it stays around for awhile longer… it is just terrific! We ended up getting several other flavors of Turkey Hill instead and enjoyed them all. Keep up the good work!!!!

The new Turkey Hill Ice Teas (White Teas), our a favorite at our house this year. But the, Black Cherry ice cream is always treat, and the alternative to that is Butter Pecan. Both personality descriptions describe me.

It said I was 42.4 Vanilla. I’m a chocoholic for goodness sakes. I’m 11.1 Chocolate 11.1 Butter Pecan (My mom’s favourite and the first Ice cream I sneaked cocoa into tastes GRRRREAT!!That was alot of fun!!! Keep up the good work guys!!

July 18th, 2007 at 4:45 pmYeah, we should have warned everyone that these results weren’t scientific. There are a few people around the office here who were downright offended at the results of some of these tests (”Strawberry?! I’m not strawberry!”)

July 18th, 2007 at 3:25 pmMy favorite is Vanilla and I go well with Rocky Road. On the Reverse test I’m Butter Pecan and I go with Strawberry. Not! I would be more attracted to a Vanilla-Rocky road mix.Throw in a little Chocolate and you have the perfect bowl of… I mean …perfect match…Ta Dah!!
