TURKEY HILL ON TV

Posted by: Turkey Hill Team

A while ago, the folks from the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) took a tour of Turkey Hill Dairy for their show “PCN Tours.” The tour has aired a few times, but it’s airing again tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm according to the PCN website. Here’s a list of PCN cable providers and channels.

In other news, we found a website that will review your blog or web page and give it a rating similar to the ratings used for movies. A blog filled violence and bad language will likely wind up with an “R” rating. We ran the Ice Cream Journal through the test and below is the rating we were given. Can’t argue with the results. It’s proof that ice cream is good for the whole family!

I’m an icecreamaholic!!! I eat icecream every day and sometimes more than once!!! I would like to see the flavors rotated to my area as Turkey Hill has such a great variety. I think the Shoprite in North Brunswick, NJ needs to get a cahnce to stock the Blueberry Muffin and Baked Apple-I never knew they existed until seeing it on your website today!!! Please let me know how I can get this to happen!!! A loyal customer!!!

Congrats on the rating!!! It’s good to know that kids can log on and their parents don’t have to worry about them picking up any bad words etc.

I can’t think right now, so I’m not going to make any corny jokes about ratings, etc. No offense.

Wow… thank God for the freedom of speech! I’m glad Turkey Hill’s blog is esteemed a “G” - but is that G really for “General Audience” or more for “Good Ice Cream???”

Karen wrote:

I was nervous about the rating. Hey you never know what others are writing. I try to read a little bit every day but between work and 3 little ones free time is a luxury. I was happy to see the G rating.

Turkey Hill is so creamy and Delicious that I enjoy a spoonful and its taste until it melts and I take another spoonful. I love Chocolate Marshmello!!! But, Cookies and Cream, and etc.,etc…I can’t decide. ANd now that you have a fat free product, sometimes I have that to be good. But Who wants to be good with Turkey Hill! Thanks for making such a great product.

I agree that ice cream is rated “G” good for the whole family. What really makes it rated “B” for BEST, is when it is Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Everyone in my family has been screaming for Turkey Hill ice cream for over 40 years!

Did I spell rasberry wrong? Oh, I’m getting sleepy.

CJ wrote:

A correction to my earlier post: it is Rasberry Chocolate Chunk (not cherry).

I’ll watch the special thanks for the tip.

Turkey Hill ice cream is the best! There are flavor for everyone in my family and I know they are eating the best ingredients when I buy the Turkey Hill name. There is also the “Light” varieties so I can enjoy my favorites with my family!

I want some of that Turkey Hill for a year!!!!!!!!!!

Caroline wrote:

Since we live in Jersey we do not get PCN. Maybe you can convince the Discovery channel to show it.

About the “G” rating no one with brains would risk the chance of winning a year of Turkey Hill Ice Cream to write anything but a “G” rating response. Having a bowl on you is too much to lose

HI !! I HAVE BEEN ENJOYING ICE-CREAM SINCE I WAS A SMALL CHILD. MY GRANDMOTHER WOULD HAVE AN ICE-CREAM SUNDAE EVERYDAY. I HAVE TAKEN UPON MYSELF TO KEEP HER ICE-CREAM HABIT ALIVE. QUITE A FEW YEARS AGO I BECAME LACTOSE INTOLERANT.. OH NO.. BELIEVE IT OR NOT TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM IS THE ONLY BRAND THAT I CAN EAT. WHEN MY SISTER-IN-LAW TOLD ME THAT MY BROTHER AND NEPHEW ARE GET BELLY ACHES AFTER EATING ICE-CREAM I TOLD HER TO ONLY BUY TURKEY HILL. NOW THEY CAN ENJOY ICE-CREAM JUST LIKE ME. NOT ONLY IS TURKEY HILL A GREAT TASTING ICE-CREAM IT IS EASY ON THE STOMACH. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT INGREDIENT IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BRANDS, BUT I’M SURE GLAD TURKEY HILL EXISTS SO THAT I CAN ENJOY MY DAILY ICE-CREAM TREAT. THANKS TURKEY HILL. MY FAVORITE IS CHOCALATE.

I wouldn’t expect any other type of rating on your blog. Your ice cream is made with wholesome ingredients. Turkey Hill is a company with integrity. You don’t skimp on your product nor would you allow any thing other than a G rating on your site. Keep up the good work!!

I’ll be watching the special on PCN tomorrow evening. Loking forward to the program. We’ll have to eat a bowl of Turkey Hill while we are watching!

G for GREAT!!

Today is my birthday (it’s only fitting that July is National Ice Cream Month). In fact 40+ years ago when my mom went into labor for me, she was eating an ice cream cone.

I discovered Turkey Hill when I moved to PA several years ago. It became (and still is) my favorite brand. Especially the Columbian Coffee flavor.

No other can compare!!

Yummy

I have been enjoying Turkey Hill Ice Cream for the last 5 years. Every time my niece comes over to visit her Uncle Richard, I make sure that there is a half gallon of Turkey Hill Ice Cream in the Freezer. The Rich and Creamy goodness of the Chocolate Covered Pretzel sure hits the spot for us. The first thing my niece says when she comes in the house is “Uncle Richie Do You Have Our ICE CREAM?!?”

John G wrote:

I’ll be setting my recorder so I can watch it later on. Thanks for the tip. Looking forward to seeing how my favorite ice cream is made.

My Girlfriend and I are both HUGE Ice Cream fans. We have been having it after our dinner for about the past 9 months (we have been together for 10 months now). We both watch what we eat, and work-out on a daily basis, so we try to limit our calorie and fat intakes. Turkey Hill is the ONLY Ice Cream we know right now that has a No-Sugar Added, Fat-Free Ice Cream Variety. It tastes Fabulous and we don’t feel as guilty eating it, knowing it is Fat-Free and doesn’t have the added sugars like it’s counterparts. We always like to toss either almonds or peanuts on it along with whipped cream of course. Thanks for producing such a GREAT product, and one that is on a level above others!

How funny, rating blogs. Boy, I am so technologically (is that even a word?) challenged. So much I don’t know.

Maybe I can record the tour tomorrow evening. We’re having the third and final birthday event for my son. Dessert will consist of ice cream sandwiches, either Reese Cup cookies with TH Peanut Butter & Chocolate ice cream, or Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies with TH Black Cherry and Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.
