These truffles sound like a great idea,,, I intend on making them,, but when I do,, I also intend to melt DARK chocolate and drizzle over the truffles. Dessert made in heaven!

This is a great quick and easy dessert and it is so good. I love to mix and match different ice cream flavors (Turkey Hill of course) with different topping combinations. These are great to serve when entertaining and they are bitesize so you can have more than one.

These is one of my favorite desserts to make, especially for a special dinner or event! Looks like SO much work, looks very classy, but it’s so deceptively simple! It only requires a little bit of pre-thought, but then come time for the event, dessert is already done and ready to serve – one less thing to worry about!

For an extra special twist, you can pipe a thin line of icing or melted chocolate over each truffle before freezing by putting about a half cup of the drizzle in a sandwich baggie, snip off the corner and go crazy cool with the design! Enjoy.

Hmm…I don’t think putting them in melted chocolate and then in something else will work; won’t the chocolate harden pretty quickly once it hits the ice cream?

These sound great and easy. I think I’ll try them with my kids. I’m ususally not a a fan of inclusions but I love malt balls and haven’t had them in years. This recipe sounds like the perfect excuse.

Welcome back Sarah! Sorry to hear that your search for the great Moobella ice cream making machine came up empty. If anyone finds one of those things, give it a try and let us know what you think.

As many of you mentioned, this recipe is very adaptable. There are lots of different things you can do to personalize it. We like Carol’s idea of using the little gold foil cups to take the “fanciness” to the next level.

Recipe is a good one, so adaptable for any occasion.

This is not an ice cream question, but maybe Ernie or someone will know. Do you think Turkey Hill teas will ever come in six packs. Or some grouping of individual serving bottles? Would love to see the teas like this?

I think these would look really fancy in gold foil cups.A whole malt ball in the center would be good. Then dip in chocolate and roll in nuts. You could also use chocolate ice cream and dip in chocolate. Then sprinkle with coconut. I could go on …So many possibilities.

I would add one thing to your truffle precedure. Before placing back in the freezer stick a sturdy tooth pick or swizzler in it to make it cleaner to eat.

Anyway…… I’M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not that you care. I just felt like saying that.

My trip was great; thanks for asking. The only sad thing is we were only on a day trip to Boston, and I couldn’t find the Moobella things…. So sad [wipe tear from eye].

I will see you again soon. I am going back and starting where I left off.
