Hi, – A long time ago I remember an ice cream flavor Maple Walnut. Don’t think it is made anymore, but sure would love to see it on the shelves again. Has Turkey Hill ever considered this flavor along with all their other delicious flavors?

I’m a big fan of Turkey Hill products, – keep them coming!!!!

create holiday cook book with ice cram recipes. There is at least one holiday every month, or birthday celabration. Which would fun to make a special ice cream cake or pie or what ever looks good.

Okay here is something I have to say on ice cream I love eating it in the middle of winter! It lasts longer due to the cold weather no messy ice cream soup! So here is a question what month was it created? (summer?) Yes I known it cools you off in the summer… Also who likes cones? who likes cups/bowl?

I just returned from Ireland, and what I was offered as a milk shake did not have any ice cream, very different.

I think there should be a tour in the near future of the Turkey Hill Dairy or have a tour on line of the dairy and how the ice cream is made. Both children and adults would be interested. Then people can ask questions about it.

I totally agree with what Sarah suggested about having brand comparisons for taste and other qualities.However, since Lancaster County is quite far away you should take the show on the road and whenever you are near my area in mid-upstate NY you have to promise to call me FIRST to be one of the tasters!! I would even consider dressing up in a turkey suit if you had my size…………..

Maybe we’ll start a regularly recurring “Featured Employee” posting that offers a up-close-and-personal look at a Turkey Hill employee (what they do, their favorite flavor, any stories they can share about life at the Dairy).

I think you should do a study on brands. You could have people come in and be served ice cream (not labeled)like B****s or Greens. Then, you could have them rate it on texture, taste, the proportion of the flavors, and overall flavor. Next, publish the results on the blog and see if people agree.

I agree with Jennifer. I would like to know more about Turkey Hill in general. Where did the name come from? How many employees are there? When was the business started? By who? I am interesed in finding out if many persons know how old they were when they first started eating ice cream. Example: the story told on me is–I would be in the crib kicking moving my hand until Grandmama Hundley started moving the spoon with melted ice cream towards me. Then I would stop moving until after she gave me the ice cream. She first gave me ice cream at 6 month of age! Now at 63 I still LOVE ice cream!

I’d most DEFINITELY be interested in knowing how to get my favorite flavors locally! Specifically, Tin Roof Sundae Frozen Yogurt! I see the ice cream, but not the frozen yogurt. It’s the BEST!! Also, love to hear facts about ice cream. What’s in it, what’s good for us, etc. How about sharing stories of ice cream indulgences? I have some to share!

I’m curious as to if there’s a reason that the same flavors of TH ice cream, can’t be made into the different types,, Frozen Yogurt, Light, etc. Also, I’d like to know how you come up with the different flavors and combinations. Are there reasons you can’t use some fruits or fruit flavors?
