This is directed towards Carm Hodgins-

I am a TRUE BLUE Turkey Hill ice cream fan & while I understand your situation with being a diabetic dont you think that is a little unfair to assume that ALL Turkey Hill & any other brand of Ice Cream should be "sugar free" just to appease you or any other diabetic? What about the people who dont mind & even prefer sugar? Non Diabetics? I think that offering "sugar free" and regular Ice Creams to appease all customers from all walks of life is more towards the fair end of the spectrum. Again, I understand your situation, I have a friend who is diabetic but she doesnt feel I should suffer & be forced to eat ice cream without sugar just because she cannot..how fair is that? Im not diabetic!!! There is plenty of Ice Cream out there suited for people who are diabetic & for now, I guess that is the ice cream diabetics will have to eat even with its limited flavors to choose from. Sometimes its some things in life that we just cant do...this may be one of them. I would like to see Turkey Hill make more flavors geared to please your taste buds but to suggest they MAKE ALL THEIR ICE CREAM SUGAR FREE is ridiculous, one sided, unfair & a bit self centered. OMG, I cant beleive Im having this conversation about ice cream. smh@ me....Peace

Love the Extreme Cookies N' Cream! My girlfriend would love it if you could make that with a Vanilla base instead of Chocolate as well!

I think more people should start discovering Light Ice Cream - it isn't what it ONCE was...at one time, Light meant light on taste too. That is no longer the case with any of the Light ice cream nowadays!

Also, the Skinny Minty is awesome....

Hi: I never received any information as to why Turkey Hill Ice cream or any other can't be totaly sugar Free not the kind that says no sugar added? Is it because it's to much of a proceess to do it?
We diabetics should not have any sugar of any amount.
Estimates say there are 30 millon Americans that don't even know they are dibetic.
If there is any way to not have Sugar in Ice Cream I know Turkey Hill can do it.

JOAN - Feel free to check out the nutritional information posted for our FF/SF flavors here:

http://www.turkeyhill.com/products/fat-free-ice-cream.asp

If you need more information, just let us know!

LEE - We know what you mean about some people REFUSING to eat low fat ice cream (or any low fat products). The same is true of people who prefer our regular iced teas over our diet varieties.

We think you should try this: Buy a container of our Light Recipe Extreme Cookies & Cream ice cream (not fat free, just low fat) and then dish some up for your husband. Don't tell him it's low-fat and see if he notices. We'll be he doesn't and he'll be surprised when you tell him about it.

My problem is that my husband refuses to eat anything that says "low fat" or "fat free" or "sugar free".
he says that he wants the real thing, and these choices are not it.
please continue to give him real vanilla, real chocolate, and real coffee ice cream.

I don't know if it's fat-free or the yogurt, but the chocolate covered pretzel is really good too! Keep making more flavors...I love the variety!

The ice cream issue is always a challenge for diabetics. My husband is diabetic and loves ice cream. He also had heart bypass surgery and so must watch both fat and sugar content. I have read so many labels and find that it is very difficult to find a product that fits both problems. We have tried several brands but the taste just isn't there. I have not seen the Turkey Hill no fat/no sugar added in our shop. I will have to look again. Can you give me the sugar, carb and fat content?

Oh my, Just last night my son and I went to T. Hill to get Death By Chocolate, but it was not available so we got the Light Extreme Cookies 'n Cream, WOW it is GREAT! I have an ice cream machine and had made my own version of this a while back, well, hubby thought this WAS mine, loads of cookies and very chocolatey, this might beat Death by Choc now as my favorite. I will need more coupons now Ernie!!

I would love to see more fat free and low calorie versions of Turkey Hill because I eat it everyday. But don't ever sacrifice taste for fat. So many times companies make tasteless fat free versions and it just isn't the same. I would love to see a fat free rocky road.

I haven't had any of your light/ NSA or any of that yet...
I just got braces on a few hours ago and then one popped off because they're under so much pressure, so I had to go back at like 3:00. They hurt! and there's not much food that I can eat. You'd be surprised- bread is harder than you think! On the up side, I can eat:
mashed potatoes, applesauce, and......
ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! So I can maybe try the light (or whatever)ice cream.

I just got braces on a few hours ago and then one popped off because they’re under so much pressure, so I had to go back at like 3:00. They hurt! and there’s not much food that I can eat. You’d be surprised- bread is harder than you think! On the up side, I can eat:
mashed potatoes, applesauce, and……
ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! So I can maybe try the light (or whatever)ice cream.

ANNE - Fear not! Carb IQ is still being produced. We make Vanilla Bean, Choco Mint Chip, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Paradise. Distribution of our Carb IQ flavors has been scaled back a bit though, to match the slowed growth of the low-carb trend in general.

The best advice we can give you (and this goes for ANY ice cream flavor) is to ask your grocery store or freezer manager to stock it. You'd be surprised at how often they take customer requests to heart the next time they're ordering product.

Right now I have a container of Fat Free Frozen Yogurt, Sugar Free and Light,,each, in my freezer, along with a container of Duetto lemon. Hey, I'm all for the fat free, light, etc. Less calories, the more we can eat! lol

Personally, I love the trend for "light" ice creams that stick to regular sugar but don't use as much. I don't care for artificial sugars. Although, I would like to see your light ice creams use more regular cane sugar and less high fructose corn syrup, but I know the latter is cheaper and easier to work with in some applications. I need to try that cookies & cream, though!
