I grew up eating “Snow Cream” that Mama made by making a cooked custard that we then poured of the clean snow we had gathered. It was always a treat! And it was made with cow’s milk fresh or canned.

I like goat milk yogurt so if there was goat milk ice cream I am sure I would give it a try!

a Chinese recipe that mixed yak milk with snow.
now this is something that I would like to try too.
and as someone else commented, is ice cream made with other milks?

That does have a certain ring to it. Although with today’s modern tastes we might have to add cookie dough to make it truly marketable.

I think Turkey Hill needs to release a “special edition” ice cream called “Snowy Yak’s Milk” or something.

I’m sure it would be a hit.
