I love Turkey Hill, but I notice the package is shrinking again. It was 64 oz., then 1.75 qt., and now many flavors are 1.5 qt. I will not buy this very small size, and I hope others will not buy these also, so the company will return to at least 1.75 qt. for all flavors

Because we live in an apt and have a small refrigerator-freezer space to put ice cream in, I wish there was a way to design an ice cream container which could be folded and sized down as you deplete the contents, thus saving freezer space while still keeping the same quality of ice cream in the smae but smaller sized container..

You just lost a long time customer by having Philadelphia Style in a smaller carton, in what I consider misleading customer by placing smaller containers with regular 1.75 and 1.5 for Philadephia. I don’t buy from people who mislead me.

The whole family knows that my Dad is an icecream-aholic! He makes homemade ice cream at least 2 times per week. He eats most of it by himself. I need one of those Zak Insulated Icecream bowls for him. He would love it. I must get one for him for CHRISTmas! Thanks for the information.

In the past, I have had a special bowl (Wexford Glass), but this would make it last to the last taste. I could take my time and enjoy licking the ice cream from my spoon. Of course, my spoon would be upside down so I get the flavor quickly.
My favorite is maple walnut and when I think of ice cream, I think of maple walnut first. These bowls are a great idea!

I have a co-worker who likes his ice cream melted to the drinking stage. Boy, could I have fun giving him one of those bowls for Christmas. Just telling him it is a special bowl for ice cream. But not letting him know that it would keep his ice cream from melting!

Linda, that’s exactly what my sons used to do! I never found out it was gone till it was too late. I always saw the container in the freezer and figured there was still some left! Didn’t take me long to learn, though!

My T.H. isn’t in my dish long enough to melt. I could use it in the summer though when my portions get larger,LOL… I like my ice cream to soften up a bit anyway. I take my spoon and stir it around to make it more like soft serve. I admit I did lick the carton of the final remains of my last bit of German Chocolate Cake. My cat was the only witness! I didn’t share with her either!

Oh how very cool! (Pun intended!) I actually do have a specific bowl I like to eat my ice cream from though I can’t figure why that bowl is better for ice cream than any other bowl. It just is. Though now that I’ve seen those ones I might have to get a couple of them and see how they compare to my “special” ice cream bowl.

I have a niece who would probably love them too; she can never seem to finish her ice cream before it’s melted. Looks like you just helped me find a great birthday gift for her!

I have to say I need to purchase one of those bowls so I can stop putting my icecream bowl/dish in the freezer before eating it along with the spoon so it stays cold an use my potholder for hot food instead of holding my freezing bowl/dish The ritual for eating icream !!!!!

Wow those bowls look great! I have 2 boys that keep me running, and don’t have much time to actually sit and eat my ice cream. It’s usually half melted till I get to eat it, so these bowls would be great!

A great invention. In the 50′s and 60′s there were drinking cups like that. My mom had 6 of them in colors, and they really worked. My ice cream doesn’t last long enough to melt, my brother used to stir his and make it real creamy, he said it made it last longer! I would be finished and he would still have some left. But, a great idea!

In my 1/2 gallon bowl, (just kidding), I don’t mind if the ice cream melts. All I do is stir what’s left of the solid part in with the melted stuff and, Voila’, I have soft ice cream.

I haven’t given much thought to how I might end up with less melted ice cream left in the bottom of my bowl when I get to the end of it (which is a very sad moment ending the greatest part of the day), but, I think it would really be great if this bowl works well!!!

I realized from reading this, how much I feel “cheated”, out of part of my nightly ice cream serving (which is thoughtfully and carefully served with attempts at self control, while still having that satisfied feeling at the end of the bowl that keeps me from returning to the freezer, spoon in hand, to have a few more spoons to “make-up” for the melted loss)…

SO…once again, if this bowl works, I’d defintely have a “designated” Ice Cream Bowl to fill with my current Turkey Hill favorite, (which is actually whatever container is in the freezer and is full enough to have at least (3) scoops) when I get that craving that only TH can satisfy!!!

Great idea! My ice cream usually does not melt because I eat it right away. We do alot of camping so that’s where I would use them. When we are outside sitting by the fire.

How Genius!!!!! I must have one of those. Great for those moments like you said when your totally focused on a movie and your TH turns into Turkey Mush, yet still tasty! This is just one must have for all the TH Lovers in the world.
OMG I was in Shoprite last night and saw the ever glorious TH Limited Edition Pineapple Upside down cake. I wanted to call all of the people shopping over to show them my amazing discovery in the freezer section!!! However, I am still bummed that I haven’t been able to track down the German Chocolate Cake!! It just sounds so delectable!!!!
