How about which ice cream gives you the most vitamins? I suppose it would have to be a fruit flavor, but just the calcium alone in ice cream is a good enough reason to eatit. Well, actually the flavor and the consistency and the yummy additions… they’re all the best reasons to ry a bowl of ice cream goodness!

I’ve been making all kinds of ice cream cakes; chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream in the middle, whipped cream on top, sprinkled with mini mint chocolate chips;;;this is a big hit. cherry flavored cake with vanilla ice cream and marachino cherries in the middle, whipped cream on top, sprinkled with marachino cherries……the different types are endless….

I love how Carvel makes shapes like footballs and Easter Bunny’s, has TH thought about permanently putting out an ice cream cake? I’d love that!! I like to mix Dr. Pepper drink–regular–into vanilla ice cream for a Dr. Pepper shake (a thick one). Wonder if it would be possible to have the same taste in ice cream? Thus, not having to beat in the Dr. Pepper.

How about remembering your favorite flavor when you were a child?? I still can remember that wonderful strawberry revel(?) that I loved. There was a drug store in town that had an ice cream counter where you could get the best treats-like a cherry fosphate, any flavor ice cream soda or that strawberry revel in a cone. It was rich vanilla ice cream with a thick strawberry concoction running thru it.

For next months posting, how about having a poll to see how many ice cream lovers would be interested in quarts of ice cream. Having quarts would help out a household where there is only two people and a 1/2 gallon who be too much, or a household where it can’t be decided what flavor they want between two flavors and still want the 1/2 gallon capacity, everyone would be happy.

I think a poll on which “type” of ice cream everyone prefers. Personally, I would like to see a bigger selection of the Low Fat, No Sugar types. Also, I work in a chocolate factory and we’ve started putting alot of “Healthy” things into our chocolate and they are BIG sellers,,,, I”ll bet they would sell big in ice cream too.

Talk of pies makes me think of blueberry pie. Think blueberry which would good in ice cream and perhaps red rasberry. Perhaps a poll should be taken to determine which ice cream additive would the most benifical to your health. I would vote for blueberry, good for the brain.

P.S. I have to say that I am very pleased that Root Beer is so far ahead in the poll. I think that would be a great Duet flavor.
