Being a Baby Boomer from Texas. I am very picky about Ice Cream. I grew up used to home churned. Since I found Turkey Hill Butter Pecan it reminds me of the Ice Cream I grew up with. It is the only kind I will buy now. The pecans taste fresher than the other brands I esed to buy. Great job!!!!!!!!!

A few years ago I moved from Long Island, NY to Pittsburgh, PA, and to my sad suprise the supermarkets did not carry Turkey Hill. WHAT???? I figured being made in PA I would get to expierence even more delicious flavors. I shopped supermarket after supermarket with no luck. Then it happend…Turkey Hill came to Pittsburgh, well, let’s just say that I embarrassed my kids in the supermarket when I jumped for joy in the icecream isle. (Talk about a kid in a candy shop!-or should I say icecream shop?)I must have purchased 5 half gallons that day, in fear it was a fluke. Glad to say its been around ever since, and we just keep broadening our love for this ice cream with all the new flavors.

I have been purchasing Turkey Hill since its introduction to the supermarkets. The only problem I have encountered is that I never know when to stop eating it. How about a “Black Forest” flavor complete with red cherries.

I never saw most of thoes flavors in my store’s dairy case.
I do shop at different place frequently and a few of them would have drove me crazy… stuffed my freezer for the long haul…

My family has eaten turkey hill ice cream for years. One of my favorites is egg nog flavor but a friend of mine tried the tastykake flavor and loved it. I would like to see that as a regular flavor and not just limited edition.

Not sure if this was a Turkey Hill ice cream flavor – but we have looked to no avail to find Apple Pie Ice cream this winter season, of it was not a Turkey Hill flavor, I can’t imagine it not being delicious with the rich creamery texture and goodness in all your products!

My friend in the supermarket business tells me a high percentage of all ice cream sales are when the product is on sales. That doesn’t matter to us…we always buy Turkey Hill with the great selection of flavors and varieties. when it’s on sale, that a double treat.

Wow! I’m honored you took my suggestion. I guess I’ll have to vote for Baked Apple Dumpling since it’s so much a part of Pennsylvania Dutch culture. I’m tempted to go for Southern Lemon Pie though, because it was awesome.
