My favorite dessert is a combination of two Turkey Hill ice creams: first a huge glob of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, followed by an equal portion of Tin Roof Sunday. That’s the BEST!

I think that ice cream is great no matter flavor, although everyone has thier fav’s, no matter what topping, ie.. chocolate chrunchies and strawberry syrup, my fav, or even how it’s eaten, cone or cup, driipping down your hand, or even a drop on your shirt, it’s always fun especially when you enjoy it with someone, but sometimes more fun alone so can totally pig out.

For a truly impressive dessert for Christmas, make a buche de noel (Christmas log cake), but substitute slightly softened vanilla (original or bean) Turkey Hill ice cream instead of the whipped cream. Reroll cake and quickly frost it w/ chocolate frosting. Pop into the freezer until serving time.

My sisters firend Beth had a party two summers ago when she moved to a new home in the country. She invited all the neighbors over for an old fashioned ice cream social (& bbq). It was such a hit, she had old friends there, made new friends, and let everyone see their new home in the country. She decorated for the party with all kinds of americana signs of the good old days. Her kitchen was set up like a general store, and she even had penny candy. She provided the pennies too! But for the older people there, it was quite a treat they ordered from the counter just like they did when they were kids. The younger people just giggled and made their own sundaes. The toppings you pick tell a lot about a person…

Regretfully, since Coconut Creme Pie is not a regular flavor I purchased Original Vanilla and Butter Pecan today. Although it was delicious and I really enjoyed both of them along with my Homemade Chocolate Pound Cake and my Coconut Pineapple layer cake I would be on Cloud 9 right about now if I had some Coconut Creme Pie.

we’re doing are part to push up those stats. Wonder if they count all the varied ways we eat icecream … like the individual serve portions purchased anywhere from sports events to school vending machines.

Wow !! I would never believe that we were not first !!We eat alot of ice cream in our house but I’m sure my kids would happily eat more if allowed.
