FEATURED PET: OREO LOVES HER DUETTO
Posted by: Turkey Hill Team
Meet Oreo. She’s a puggle puppy (that’s a mix between a pug and a beagle) and, as you can see, she really loves her cherry Duetto. Thanks to Audrey B. of Brigantine, NJ for sharing this photo with us! Audrey is a puggle breeder, so if you’ve fallen in love with Oreo and want an Oreo for yourself (or someone else), feel free to email her at puggles4shore@comcast.net.
TODAY’S PRIZE: Two scoops of Me! Bath Ice Cream. According to the Me! website, you just drop one or two of these things in the bathtub and let the relaxation begin. We wonder what would happen if you ate ice cream while using the Me! Bath Ice Cream? There’s only one way to find out!

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.

What a cutie! We are looking to get a puppy and this is exactly what we are looking for. I don’t think I will be sharing my TH will the pup though (I don’t share mine with anyone!)
December 26th, 2007 at 12:53 pmRemember No matter how much there is to eat for Christmas dinner there is always room for ICE CREAM.
December 25th, 2007 at 11:34 amPlop some on the mincemeat pie, scoop some on the fruit cake, just watch out for the flaming brandy on the Figgey Pudding
Very Cute pup picture. We had 10 Amer. Bull Dog pups in Oct. My kids had too much fun. They however did not have any ice cream. Perhaps with their new owners. I just picked up some mint choc. chip for Christmas company and Turkey Hill Egg Nog to drink. No alcohol will be added. Hey no alcohol for your dogs either you ice cream sneakers. Turkey Hill you need to come out with some new doggie ice cream. Santa just came and I think he had some of my ice cream. Hey, I think rudolph had some too. What is it with you pet owners:) Merry Christmas. Amy
December 25th, 2007 at 2:49 amMerry Christmas Oreo!
December 25th, 2007 at 1:22 amWill I come out of the bathtub smelling like ice cream? That might induce some serious cravings!

December 24th, 2007 at 1:31 amMy all time favorite so far is the Mango/Vanilla Duetto. It is so creamy and the tang from the mango gives it that extra kick.
December 24th, 2007 at 1:07 amMy son loves ice cream. He might just switch from showers to baths just to enjoy the bath ice cream.
December 24th, 2007 at 12:49 amYes, I think Turkey Hill should make doggie ice cream. That other stuff that is on the market is lousy! That’s why Oreo is carrying the Duetto, she’s trying to get a message across to the company!
December 23rd, 2007 at 11:33 pmNot only is Oreo an adorable puppy, he obviously has good taste too!
December 23rd, 2007 at 11:27 pmThat puggle pup is darn cute, can I rent her for the day?

December 23rd, 2007 at 7:17 pmI do not have a desire for Duet Ice Cream, but the dog looks cute! If I am going to eat cherries in ice cream I would rather have Black Cherry Ice Cream!

December 23rd, 2007 at 6:16 pmCute Puppy ! My White Sheppard when he was a pup, was out to do his business and went treasure hunting in the burn pile. Came back in the house with a Turkey Hill “Hat” ice cream container stuck on his head. What a dummy!
December 23rd, 2007 at 6:07 pmPuppy Oreo is so cute! I had a cat named Oreo and he, too, was adorable. Dogs and cats are smarter than some people I know…ha, ha, ha!

December 23rd, 2007 at 1:49 pmI wonder if Oreo likes TH Cookies & Cream? I don’t think Cherry Duetto cow is going to be happy with Oreo stealing her ice cream…..Cherry Duetto cow should run by with a Cookies & Cream carton in her mouth!
Turkey Hill sure calms the body and the soul during these hectic times.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:31 pmFinally!
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:28 pmMaybe Orel should be the new Turkey Hill mascot - at least for the Cookies and Cream ice cream!

December 23rd, 2007 at 1:13 pmOreo is just too dang on cute ~ with a puppy and ice cream what woman could resist. Our dog Mango loves Peppermint. Weird combination but you never know.
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:13 pmI love the puppy pic. I had an older dog (15 years old to be exact) and her favorite was vanilla off the spoon. Each spoon took exactly 21 licks to finish.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:55 pmWhat a cute puppy! I can see where she gets her name.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:49 pmMy favorite flavor and the product is unique

December 23rd, 2007 at 12:24 pmI absolutely adore puppies. Oreo is a sweet baby. My dogs love ice cream too and beg for it all the time. However, I’m not sharing my Turkey Hill with them. No way!!!!!!!!

December 23rd, 2007 at 11:39 amHas any one ever done a survey to ascertain how many gallons of ice cream are kept n an average home freezer? I go baCK t the monitor top refrigerator which had only room for 2 ice cube trays. We ate our ice cream out.

December 23rd, 2007 at 11:29 amCUTE PUPPY; MY PUPPIES JUST LIKE JUST FRECH VANILLA AND STRAWBERRY CREAM SO FAR, BUT MY LITTLE CHOCALATE LAB WILL EAT ANY KIND OF TURKEY HILL WE EAT. WHEN WE EMPTY A CARTON OF TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM,ONE PUPPY GET THE LID AND OTHER GETS THE BOTTOM OF THE CARTON WITH ONE SCOOP FOR EACH.
December 23rd, 2007 at 11:10 amhappy holidays
December 23rd, 2007 at 10:41 amOh - please enter me! That bath bomb ice cream looks heavenly!
December 23rd, 2007 at 10:38 amDarling photo!! Puggle…a new breed to me!!
December 23rd, 2007 at 10:27 amI for one am grateful for Turkey Hill Vanilla Ice Cream. Our Chow-Chow somehow got sick and I mean real sick she wouldn’t move go out nothing. We took her to the vet and she had to injest a charcoal type pill to get her back to normal. Well, Chows are not big on you putting something in their mouth let alone eating something that tastes like charcoal. I tried EVERYTHING, I pushed it down her throat, she’d spit it back, wrapped it in cheese, hamburger, potatoes, whatever I could get my hands on because she had to take this pill to get her well. Well I got the bright idea to ground the pill up put in in a small increments of Turkey Hill vanilla bean and she just tore that up! Well after a few days she was pretty much back to normal. I totally attribute the Turkey Hill for her recovery without that she would not take that pill. They will continue to be my ice cream of choice.
December 23rd, 2007 at 10:23 amThis has got to be one of the cutest pictures I have seen in a long time. What a great advertisement for Turkey Hill! Hope to see it in future ads; it would be perfect!
December 23rd, 2007 at 10:13 amOreo is so cute.
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:52 amMy daughter would love oreo for Christmas!
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:29 amThat puppy is so cute, he looks almost like my kitten (Oreo). My kittens attack you when you sit down to eat ice cream. I always let them lick the bowl. But i always leave enough for them.
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:22 amMy Dalmatian LOVED ice cream, too. In fact, he liked it soooo much he ate the CONTAINER! (We had to put him down about 2 years ago)
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:05 amI’m ready to lather up and enjoy the Turkey Hill ice cream !
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:01 amNot only do puppies like Duetto but miniature horses do too! Our 4-H group participated in the Lancaster Jingle Bell Run for arthritis and brought our miniature horse, Summer. She got her picture taken with the Turkey Hill Duetto Cow and we gave her a spoonful of the Duetto Ice cream they were handing out at the race. She liked the Duetto so much she would nudge every person eating ice cream to get another bite! Summer has good taste!
December 23rd, 2007 at 8:57 amVery cute dog. Can’t have my ice cream though.
December 23rd, 2007 at 8:46 amCute photo!

December 23rd, 2007 at 8:03 amWhy not???? Sounds decadent doing two things that I like very much - soaking in a tub and eating ice cream.
December 23rd, 2007 at 7:58 amWhat a cute puppy.
December 23rd, 2007 at 7:56 amThat puppy has great taste!!!!!!!!!
December 23rd, 2007 at 7:35 amOreo is just to cute. I raise pure breed Beagles and I sure have named one Oreo. I surely would like to win something, especially the ice cream for a year! Would even buy a new freezer to store it, for I cannot get the GREAT turkey ice cream where I live. Have to drive over 30 miles one way. Which I have done!
December 23rd, 2007 at 6:30 amWhat a cute picture. It just shows everyone and everything loves Turkey Hill! You should tell Oreo to try the Cookies N Cream, yum!
December 23rd, 2007 at 6:15 amWhat a smart puppy! That adorable puggle will steal your heart and your favorite ice cream.
December 23rd, 2007 at 5:11 amMore puggles for Muggles!
December 23rd, 2007 at 3:24 amI love puppies! Even more with ice cream! I think I would probably be game to try the accessory WHILE eating ice cream in the bath. I can’t guarantee success. I’ll have to let you know
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:14 amDuetto is our favorite icecream…a year’s supply definitley won’t last that long!
December 23rd, 2007 at 1:13 amI normally prefer bigger breeds of dog, but Oreo is adorable.
And that ice cream bath accessory…..neat! I’d probably never want to get out of the tub.
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:59 amWe had a pekanese/beagle dog one time and she was the smartest dog around. However she didn’t like ice cream as much as our Champy, a pomerarian. But that left more for us!!!!
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:22 amI may never get out of the tub if I won this!
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:20 amwow more luxurious than a milk bath!
December 23rd, 2007 at 12:14 amThanks for having a contest!
December 22nd, 2007 at 11:44 pmthis is a prize i could enjoy!i believe i would take my bath with a bowl of cherry duetto inspired by Oreo the puggle!
December 22nd, 2007 at 11:19 pmWhat a cute puppy and smart too!
Keep the good stuff coming Turkey Hill!
December 22nd, 2007 at 11:03 pmIf my dog tried to eat my Turkey Hill Ice Cream, he would no longer be considered “man’s best friend.”
December 22nd, 2007 at 10:53 pmLove the pup. Not so sure about an ice cream bath!
December 22nd, 2007 at 10:38 pmdog is too cute- love the bath bombs
December 22nd, 2007 at 10:22 pmNow that’s puppy love!
December 22nd, 2007 at 10:21 pmWhen yoy have a ice cream bath, is it in cold ice cream? Oreo is adorable and has super good taste in cherry Duette
December 22nd, 2007 at 10:15 pmDid Oreo eat the whole box of Duetto? She must really love it!
December 22nd, 2007 at 9:15 pmWhat a fun idea!
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:46 pmWhat a cute picture! Oreo has good taste in ice cream! We LOVE that flavor too!! It is one of our favorites!!
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:42 pmThat is the cutest picture that I have seen in a long time. Happy Holidays!
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:39 pmTurkey Hill’s Frozen Yogurt “rich and creamy”
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:19 pmChocolate Cherry Cordial is really dreamy!
Adorable puppy ! The bath ice cream sounds wonderful.
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:17 pmOreo has good taste.
December 22nd, 2007 at 8:14 pmHad a hugh Rottweiler that loved ice cream. He would put whole bowl in his mouth. When he finished it he would spit bowl out. You could never tell he was eating ice cream unless you saw him when he first started. His name was Sargent. WE were blessed with him for 15 wonderful years.
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:56 pmCan you imagine having a bowl of ice cream while bathing in Mel Bath Ice
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:56 pmCream. Sureal and deeeeeeeeeeelicious!
Does it smell like ice cream?
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:51 pmThe container is almost as big as Oreo. She must have a sweet tooth as big as me! I bet she loves the ice cream better than a bath. So adorable!
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:44 pmCute puppy! A bath sounds great with ice cream.
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:39 pmAwww, what a cute puppy! She has such great taste in ice cream!
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:36 pmI always share a little safe (have to watch out for things that might make her sick) Ice cream with my service dog who deserves a treat with all the hard work she does! THe dog “ice creams” on the marked are pur junk. Turkeu Hill make a good one for our other family memebrs Please!
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:31 pmNow I love my pets, but there is no way I’m going to share my ice cream with them! Maybe I am selfish, but Turkey Hill ice cream is too good to share with pets. Maybe Turkey Hill should produce a special brand just for pets.
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:18 pmOreo… give me the ice cream.
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:18 pmice cream? relaxing bath? This one’s for me!

December 22nd, 2007 at 6:27 pmOk… I always crave ice cream when I come here to enter, and now I’m craving a puppy too ! What a baby Oreo is ! I have a ‘baby’ too, but he’s a 90 pound Rottie/Dobie mix, and he LOVES ice cream !
About the two sweetest things in life, ice cream and puppies.
December 22nd, 2007 at 6:18 pmIce cream in the bath ? - and why not ?! - you can enjoy ice cream just about anywhere!
December 22nd, 2007 at 6:07 pmIt would really be funny if Oreo was carrying Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
December 22nd, 2007 at 5:33 pmThe dog is adorable and obviously smart since he’s carrying our favorite ice cream.
December 22nd, 2007 at 5:32 pmDogs love ice cream…and can tell time. Every night at 7:40 my big golden retriever somehow knows to come and sit in front of my easy chair and stair at me to remind me it’s officially our nightly ice cream time. He’s never off by more than a minute. Amazing.
December 22nd, 2007 at 5:30 pmA dish of Duetto while soaking in a bath! Sounds like a good way to shake off the holiday stress. Make mine orange sherbet and vanilla.
December 22nd, 2007 at 5:08 pmI bet I could get a picture of ole Cookie (My Angus “baby”) enjoying Turkey Hill ice cream. Problem is, she’d be quite upset at getting just a lick or two, instead of an entire half gallon!!! Maybe she could settle for a well filled ice cream cone….
December 22nd, 2007 at 4:28 pmOreo is a winner, would love to meet her, not sure my dogs would agree with that.
December 22nd, 2007 at 4:10 pmThe more I think about that batteryoperated ice cream cone, the more it bothers me. It is so not PC in a Green World. The cone is perfect no dishes to wash afterwards, no carbon footprint especially when you think how local Turkey Hill is
December 22nd, 2007 at 3:47 pmOreo is the cutest!
December 22nd, 2007 at 3:27 pmMaybe Oreo could take a bath with the bath ice cream.
December 22nd, 2007 at 3:26 pmAww, cute puppy!
December 22nd, 2007 at 3:05 pmI think an ice cream bath would be good for my skin….
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:56 pmTHAT DOG IS REALLY CUTE, MY WIFE WOULD LOVE ONE. i’LL HAVE TO SEE WHAT i CAN DO,IT HAS TO BE A GREAT DOG IF IT LIKES TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:40 pmHow cute is Oreo!!!! Bath Ice Cream would probably rule!! Put some in the tub and soak while you eat some!! totally cool!
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:32 pmCute puppy. But she looks more like Cookies and Cream ice cream. My Mom’s golden retriever looks at you with big eyes if you don’t give her a small spoon if ice cream.
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:14 pmCan you teach the pup to go to the store, buy the ice cream, scoop it and put it back in the fridge all while you are in the tub with the ice cream bath bombs?????
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:13 pmLike, Oreo. I love Cherry Duetto! k Ohio
December 22nd, 2007 at 2:09 pmIce cream for eating only—esp in winter

December 22nd, 2007 at 12:56 pmWhat a cute pup!!
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:49 pmGreat photo!
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:47 pmIce cream bath-what a concept!
Smart puppy, but in my house with my husband I don’t think there would be anything left to lick out.
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:29 pmAwww, that’s sooo cute! Thanks for the laugh!
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:26 pm“Oreo”? If you want a real Oreo critter, look at a Belted Galloway cow.
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:25 pmI’ll take ice cream anyway I can get it.
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:15 pmthat is just too cute! i have to agree, whenever i have ice cream, oshi shares. he then licks out the top and container– love it!
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:14 pmI would love to bath my 6 week old Pug Puppy in this stuff..
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:12 pmIf I win the Me! Bath I’ll certainly let you know how it is to eat ice cream while using the Me! Bath Ice Cream.
Oreo is adorable.
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:09 pmBe sure to remember that many dogs are incapable of digesting this yummy stuff. Not so sure this should be encouraged so much? I’d feel bad for the poor little thing if she got sick.
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:04 pmOMG, what a cute puppy! I would love to win some of that for a relaxing bath!
December 22nd, 2007 at 12:04 pmWhat an adorable dog!
