More ice cream is sold on Sunday than on any other day of the week.
just because more ice cream is sold on Sunday, do not make it better to eat ice cream.

I usually shop before Sun. for groceries so we have icecream in also for during the week. Tradition was growing up on Sun. a cooked meal at noon and then a light meal with cake and Turkey Hill icecream for dessert each Sun. Our favorites are the Mint Chocolate Chip, for myself and my 6 year old, but Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream are the stables for the rest of our clan consisting of four other children and “Dad”. At least we have a local chain of grocery stores which starts their sales on Wednesday so I can shop towards the end of the week and still ensure our favorites will be available…ummm.

Some days are better than others!!!!!I don’t think so. I’ve never had a day in my life when I din’t want ice cream. It’s true. When we were little kids after dinner my dad would take us to the local ice cream store and buy us a cone. Every night. I got used to eating ice cream everyday and nothing has ever changed for me. Back when I was a kid, we would watch the 7pm disney movie and have pretzels and ice cream. I am the 11th of 12 children, so that was a big deal for us. I’m 39 now and still remember that fondly. As for my 6 kids and husband now, anyday is good. My neighbor came over the other day and actually found a box of melting popsicles behind my bathroom door from my 2 year old:O I guess she really was angry at me when I told her she couldn’t have ice cream at 8 am. We stock up on the ice cream on Sundays because that is when the sales start for the week. In my store, if you don’t get it on Sunday, chances are the Turkey Hill is gone until the next delivery!

most ice cream may be sold on sundays, however, the best days for eating ice cream are: birthdays, graduations, christenings, weddings, reunions, homecomings, the dog ate the mail day, you had a flat tire, got caught in traffic for an hour, bad hair day, missed the meeting, kids tearing up the house, and any day you darn well need to relax. i am sure you can think of many more times when ice cream can take us to that soothing, relaxing, calm place we need to be !

I believe ice cream is sold mostly on Sunday. I just came home Sunday with Turkey Hill’s Banana Split ice cream, and in place of some figgy pudding, I’m going to dig in and enjoy!

the kids would love to make ice cream. afterall, they usually do ice cream every couple of days. as far as the most being sold on a Sunday, i bet most is eaten around wednesday since it’s such a terrific pick me up.

Sundays or any day of the week is great for TURKEY HILL ice cream, that is if you can get it! I can’t and I really do miss it. Originally from Cumberland County in Penna. so TURKEY HILL ice cream was in my mom’s home ALL the time. MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone!

Sunday was the day my Mom would always make something extra special for dinner when I was a kid. It was usually roast beef or roast pork with roasted potatoes. It would melt in your mouth, just like Turkey Hill Ice Cream.

I miss those days, but at least I can enjoy Turkey Hill Ice Cream any day of the week.
