CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST: COOKIES ‘N CREAM ‘N JEREMY

Posted by: Turkey Hill Team

A few months ago we posted something on the Ice Cream Journal about our search for photos for our upcoming 2009 Turkey Hill Calendar. We’re looking for the best pictures you have featuring Turkey Hill ice cream or iced tea.

We’ve received a lot of submissions so far, so we’ve decided to feature some of the best ones here on the Ice Cream Journal. You can submit your snapshots on the photo contest page of our website (the deadline is June 15). The best photos will earn a spot in our 2009 calendar. Remember, your photo MUST INCLUDE ice cream or iced tea. If it also includes a Turkey Hill package or logo, that’s even better…sort of like the one below.

This is an OLD photo, as you can tell from the retro Turkey Hill packaging (back when we first introduced our “Imported from Lancaster County” tagline which you can see right below the lid). That’s baby Jeremy getting ready to dish up some Cookies ‘n Cream. Thanks to Sandra F. of Philadelphia, PA for submitting this picture for our calendar photo contest!

I hope that baby Jeremy enters a new photo for the contest. I am sure that he still eats turkey hill and may have graduated to some other flavors too

Got the Lemon Pie. Man was that good. I like lemon in any form but this was great. All the lemon flavor one good hope for. They also had the box of chocolates but someone had ripped into the last container so I didn’t buy it. There will be another time.

I wish my stores carried some of the flavors listed as possible competitors in the next Ultimate Flavor Tournamnet. I have never seen some of them and I shop at several different
supermarkets.

Southern Lemon Pie, Coconut Cream Pie,
Chocolate Coconut Duetto all sound delicious!

Turkey Hill ice cream is daughter Gayle and my habit every time she visits, which is often. It competes with Turkey Hill iced tea with her. Waiting for next calendar. Not good at taking photos, but enjoy viewing them.

Peg Cramer wrote:

I have to smile whenever I see the name Jeremy. My son had a habit of pronouncing it “germy” and that did not phase out until he was in junior high school.

Sue wrote:
