We just finished taking a look at some of the traffic and comment totals on the Ice Cream Journal during the Ultimate Flavor Tournament and we have to admit, we’re impressed! In terms of total visitors to the blog and total comments, March was the second best month ever in the Ice Cream Journal’s 17-month history.
Of course, we owe it all to you – our readers. Thanks for making March such a successful month and thanks for all of your comments on various entries. We love hearing from you, so keep those comments coming!

Congrats to all. We’re still waiting to hear back from the tenth winner. We’re also waiting to hear from the winner of the grand prize – the ONE YEAR supply of ice cream. It’s funny (sort of). This is the third time we’ve given away a one year supply of ice cream on the Ice Cream Journal and each time the winner has waited a loooong time to claim their prize. Maybe they’re just making room in their freezer!

Maybe they are saving money to buy the new freezer, lol! That’s funny 3 times a charm! I can honestly say that if I won that year of ice cream I’d claim it pronto. I have loads of friends and family who are TH lovers, and we’d all go to town! I’d probably mail out “just thinking of you cards to everyone and add in a coupon for the free ice cream, it’d be the best mail ever!
P.s. I did just buy another container of TH Box of chocolates…. boy it’s yummy!!~ But Don’t tell because I still have to fit into a wedding dress, lol!!
Boy oh boy—I thought the box of chocolates would be just sickening sweet BUT boy was I wrong…it is out of this world-I can’t get enough of it. If you haven’t tried it and you are a chocoholic DON’T MISS THIS ONE.

Congratulations to all the lucky winners. Those of us who didn’t win will have to console ourselves with a big bowl of TH ice cream, so I guess we’re winners too!
To the first 9 enjoy your TH. To Ernie did you misplace my e-mail address for the grand prize? To Christina and Jeanne, you are correct with the “Box of Chocolate” I finally found it in Wegman’s around 4/1 and bought a total of 5 boxes (over 2 weeks) with 2 still in my freezer. I guess Wegman’s gets their TH by the trailer load and rotate the stock so the Feb. flavor did not hit their stores until the end of march. It was worth the wait and I can’t wait till next year to stock up on it.

Glad you all like the Box of Chocolate flavor! It’s a big hit around the office too (nothing like a little ice cream for lunch!).

I tried the Nutty Neapolitan flavor and was blown away. I love ice cream and this flavor is by far the best I’ve eaten. I am looking forward to trying the Vanilla Swiss Almond in September, peaches and cream in July, and the coconut cream pie in May.
No way would I wait to get free Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Any day is a good day with Turkey Hill ice cream.
Colombian Coffee has to be one of the best flavors ever! Have trouble finding it in my area, though.

I too wish that I were the winner of a year’s supply of Turkey Hill’s ice cream! I would even be happy winning a month’s supply of Turkey Hill ice cream! My family seems to talk more when we are sharing a bowl of Turkey Hill ice cream. The reason I don’t keep very much Turkey Hill ice cream in the Freezer is because its too difficult to keep it there!!! I find I am tempted to make it my meals three times a day, knowing that its constantly there — or at least there for the time being!!
