CONGRATS TO OUR WINNERS!
Posted by: Turkey Hill Team
We just finished taking a look at some of the traffic and comment totals on the Ice Cream Journal during the Ultimate Flavor Tournament and we have to admit, we’re impressed! In terms of total visitors to the blog and total comments, March was the second best month ever in the Ice Cream Journal’s 17-month history.
Of course, we owe it all to you – our readers. Thanks for making March such a successful month and thanks for all of your comments on various entries. We love hearing from you, so keep those comments coming!
Speaking of comments, below are nine of our 10 winners of the one-month supply of Turkey Hill ice cream we gave away to randomly selected comments during the Flavor Tournament.
Holly K. from Rockville, MD
Sherry S. from Montgomery, PA
Mary F. from Williamsport, PA
Heidi B. from Jamestown, NY
Loretta C. from Minoa, NY
Christina M. from Somerdale, NJ
Anne K. from Macungie, PA
Charles K. from Frederick, MD
Maureen B. from Westville, NJ
Congrats to all. We’re still waiting to hear back from the tenth winner. We’re also waiting to hear from the winner of the grand prize – the ONE YEAR supply of ice cream. It’s funny (sort of). This is the third time we’ve given away a one year supply of ice cream on the Ice Cream Journal and each time the winner has waited a loooong time to claim their prize. Maybe they’re just making room in their freezer!

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.

June 24th, 2008 at 3:27 amThe reason I don’t keep very much Turkey Hill ice cream in the Freezer is because its too difficult to keep it there!!! I find I am tempted to make it my meals three times a day, knowing that its constantly there — or at least there for the time being!!

May 4th, 2008 at 8:29 amcream…But one year of Turkey Ice Cream would be so cool…I just brought Vanilla Turkey Hill ice this past Friday and it was soooo good. I put some in my coffee, it taste even better. It’s like eating dessert for breakfast.
Draw another winner…that’s a great idea, there seem to be a number of us in agreement with that one. A year’s supply of TH, can you imagine! I’d gladly accept a month too! Yum!

April 29th, 2008 at 4:57 amI too wish that I were the winner of a year’s supply of Turkey Hill’s ice cream! I would even be happy winning a month’s supply of Turkey Hill ice cream! My family seems to talk more when we are sharing a bowl of Turkey Hill ice cream. I learn more about my son’s day when we are sitting around the table softening up the ice cream and sharing our thoughts. Congrats to all of the winners. I know they will enjoy thier prize. Ann

April 25th, 2008 at 12:46 pmNo way would I wait to get free Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Any day is a good day with Turkey Hill ice cream.
April 25th, 2008 at 10:23 amI tried the Nutty Neapolitan flavor and was blown away. I love ice cream and this flavor is by far the best I’ve eaten. I am looking forward to trying the Vanilla Swiss Almond in September, peaches and cream in July, and the coconut cream pie in May.
April 25th, 2008 at 10:00 amGreat job, enjoy
April 25th, 2008 at 9:46 amGlad you all like the Box of Chocolate flavor! It’s a big hit around the office too (nothing like a little ice cream for lunch!).
As for the grand prize winner, per our usual policy, if they don’t claim their prize within ONE MONTH, we’ll draw another winner! We’ll keep you posted.
April 25th, 2008 at 8:46 amCongrats to the winners. Nothing better that an big dish of Turkey Hill Ice Cream!
April 25th, 2008 at 8:28 amTo the first 9 enjoy your TH. To Ernie did you misplace my e-mail address for the grand prize? To Christina and Jeanne, you are correct with the “Box of Chocolate” I finally found it in Wegman’s around 4/1 and bought a total of 5 boxes (over 2 weeks) with 2 still in my freezer. I guess Wegman’s gets their TH by the trailer load and rotate the stock so the Feb. flavor did not hit their stores until the end of march. It was worth the wait and I can’t wait till next year to stock up on it.
April 25th, 2008 at 8:26 amCongratulations to all the lucky winners. Those of us who didn’t win will have to console ourselves with a big bowl of TH ice cream, so I guess we’re winners too!
April 25th, 2008 at 7:59 amCongrats to all the winners!!
(I call dibs if that grand prize winner doesn’t step up soon! Hee hee!)
April 25th, 2008 at 7:54 amWE ALL WAYS HAVE ROOM FOR TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM IN OUR FREEZER;;;THANK YOU
April 25th, 2008 at 7:42 amBoy oh boy—I thought the box of chocolates would be just sickening sweet BUT boy was I wrong…it is out of this world-I can’t get enough of it. If you haven’t tried it and you are a chocoholic DON’T MISS THIS ONE.
April 24th, 2008 at 9:20 pmMaybe they are saving money to buy the new freezer, lol! That’s funny 3 times a charm! I can honestly say that if I won that year of ice cream I’d claim it pronto. I have loads of friends and family who are TH lovers, and we’d all go to town! I’d probably mail out “just thinking of you cards to everyone and add in a coupon for the free ice cream, it’d be the best mail ever!
P.s. I did just buy another container of TH Box of chocolates…. boy it’s yummy!!~ But Don’t tell because I still have to fit into a wedding dress, lol!!
