My family and I enjoyed soft Turkey Hill ice cream at Citizens Bank Park (Home of the Philadelphia Phillies) but haven’t been there in years. Does anyone else serve soft Turkey Hill Ice Cream?

My 8-year-old son Bennett loves sprinkles, and he isn’t choosey about which flavor he “sprinkles” the sprinkles over, either! Personally, I prefer digging out the peanut butter ball in the chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream (before my hubby beats me to it!) and enjoy that with some of the delicious chocolate ice cream. Yummmmmmm! God Bless! )

We call them sprinkles, or shots, never heard of jimmies.

Who doesn’t love “Turkey Hill” ice cream with or without sprinkles in the summer, or, all year long for that matter. Every night, and I do mean every night, my husband has to have a cup of “Turkey Hill” vanilla and chocolate before going to bed. Sometimes during the night he’ll get up and get another one. The calories do not show on him at all so I love the fat free frozen yogurt. It is the best. I sure would like to see an all strawberry carton of fat free frozen yogert. Gotta love it for sure.

They’re “Jimmies” here in South Jersey as well. And we like the option of choosing between the all chocolate ones or the rainbow ones (rainbow are my favorites – reminds me of my summer days at a local Church carnival – jimmies and ice cream dripping down the cone and down over your hand as well!)

So nice to see summer is back!

We call them “Jimmies” here in Philly, also. When my nephew Jimmy and his sister Julia were small kids and would order a cone, he’d ask for rainbow Jimmies and she wanted rainbow “Julia’s”.

Bowl? We always have fun cones on hand, such as wafer (my favorite), sugar and when I can find them, little tiny wafer kids’ cones for our 2 yr. old’s little hands. We take our Turkey Hill Ice Cream eatin’ time very seriously. We don’t mess around.

In my house we call them rainbow sprinkles. I grew up in Bergen County, NJ. My husband is worse than a kid. He love his sprinkles and won’t eat a cookie, cupcake, and most of all his favorite ice cream,Turkey Hill, without them on. His eyes widen when he sees his dish or cone approaching with his T.H. icecream covered with a “rainbow”.

Yeah, summer and ice cream…brings me back to the days when my parents loaded all of us in the station wagon and drove to the ice cream parlor. What I was thinking then was a hurrah ice cream! But now I have come to treasure those moments. How much fun we had, how we laughed and enjoyed the time together. I have since created those wonderful memories with my own children and can’t wait til the day I can share them with my grandchildren. For me

I finally have a granddaughter to spoil with Turkey Hill Ice Cream on a cone with (YES) Jimmies! She loves it and it’s SO great to have yummy ice cream from a local company! It makes Summer especially wonderful!

When I grew up in Staten Island, My favorite was chocolate ice cream with plenty of JIMMIES!! Thats what we called them and still do! They are the best on ice cream.

I’m from NY and sprikles are what we’ve always called them. When I first heard of jimmies I didn’t have any clue what they were talking about. Now either will do. My kids can eat sprinkles without ice cream but not me. I’m all for Turkey Hill with or without the toppings.

I am from New York, near Buffalo, and we always called them sprinkles. Either rainbow sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles and it was always a special treat to get sprinkles on our ice cream. I will take Turkey Hill with or without sprinkles any time!

Around the Washington DC area they are called sprinkles. It would be interesting to know where and how the word “jimmies” began. The debate may go on forever but I’ll just go to the freezer and have some Turkey Hill with sprinkles on top.

I don’t think I heard them called “jimmies” until I moved north of the Mason-Dixon line. In California, Louisiana, Florida, and West Virginia, I never got funny looks for calling them “sprinkles.”

I’m glad it’s now “official” to eat ice cream! But as far as I’m concerned, eatin’ ice cream is a year-round season! Here’s a scoop of Cookies and Cream to toast — cheers!

I started life in Brooklyn, New York, and live on Long Island now, we call them rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles and I prefer the chocolate ones. As a matter of fact, I prefer chocolate anything! And I’ll take some Turkey Hill ice cream under it!

I’m also from Long Island NY, Bay shore and we call them sprinkles. Being of British Descent jimmies are something guys wear (if ya know what I mean)! I prefer choc ones but nowadays give me choc cookie crunch on choc peanut butter (yeah I’m an avowed chocoholic), and I’m allover it. I really like the Philly style the best!!

I don’t know if you guys push for these or what,, but our local grocery store RARELY ever has Demonstrators. Yesterday (1st day of Summer), they had a lady giving out samples of TH ice cream! You can believe she was a very popular lady! Even the employees were stopping buy for their little taste of Heaven! No sprinkles but it didn’t matter.

I always called them Jimmies. Then had to revert to sprinkles because people never knew what I was talking about, lol! Sprinkles rule though.

I just had this conversation with the people I work with at my hospital, toppings are a necessity in my world. You’d laugh if you saw what I did with my TH Vanilla bean the other day. I had a cone and filled it with half ice cream, put in a layer of Apple Jacks cereal as a change, then a layer of ice cream, layer of chocolate syrup, ice cream, then some peanuts. It sure was one little adventure in that cone! But It was good!
