We know it’s a little late, but trust us when we say, this flavor is worth the wait. According to the schedule in the back of the Turkey Hill calendar, Junior Mints was listed as the May Limited Edition flavor but it’s finally hitting stores in late June and should be available through July.
Turkey Hill’s Junior Mints Ice Cream is creamy mint-flavored ice cream swirled with rich fudge and loaded with Junior Mint Minis. The most interesting thing about the flavor is how the mint, which is already cool and refreshing in its candy form, combines with the coldness of the ice cream to become even more refreshing. With a warm July ahead of us, maybe it’s a good thing this flavor was delayed.
On a previous post about our limited edition flavors we noticed some of you were having difficulty finding a particular limited edition flavor. We know how much you look forward to trying some of these new flavors, because we can’t wait to either. Here’s a little insight into how Limited Edition flavors make their way into your store that may help you understand why you can’t find them right away. Each Limited Edition flavor is made near the beginning of the month, however stores won’t be able to get the new flavor in stock until the previous month’s supply is sold out. So if you are going to the store and can only find last month’s flavor, don’t give up hope, it will be coming soon!

FINALLY, our local grocery store seems to be ordering more flavors of Turkey Hill! I actually found & bought the Fried Ice Cream flavor this past week and I’m glad I grabbed mine when I did, it was going fast! I hope they continue keeping well stocked and I get the chance to try the Junior Mint,, I KNOW I’ll love that! TH creamy ice cream & my favorite chocolate mint!
Can’t wait to see if our local Turkey Hill stores have it in. They are always late getting specials in Mints in ice cream are my delights.
I know I’ll love it. I’m not sure about the kids but that doesn’t matter I polish off about 2 – 3 Turkey Hill cartons per week.
We can’t win them all. Our house is not a mint eater (we don’t even take the mints at a restaurant) but its is great you have flavors for all tastes. I am sure there are TH lovers who do not eat chocolate which is fine but we are drooling for next February to get that “Box of Chocolate” again. By the prior comments it looks like we are in the minority but we live in a country that respects all. For July are we getting a Neapolitan of strawberry, vanilla and blueberry?
I just found the Fried Ice Cream last week. That’s one of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted. Of course I can’t seem to find it in the stores anymore. You need to start making enough of the limited editions to last 2 months in the store, not just 1.
I haven’t tried the new Junior Mints Ice Cream yet, but know it will be delicious. My son loves Junior Mints and I’ll be buying him a box also.
Get that Nutty (almond) cocanut Ice Cream out there and you will have all my favorite flavors available then.

With Turkey Hill ice cream it is always worth the wait. I always feel privileged when I find the limited editions in my local grocery store. That’s when I can stock up and enjoy.

This is one of my favorite candies, mint peppermint patty. Now in Turkey Hile ice cream is going to be the best ice cream for starters for this summer. I can not wait for it to get to my store, guess I will have to but please hurry. Happy summer to all.

As of today, there hasn’t been any other ice cream that has matched the superior texture, creaminess, and especially the flavor, of the Turkey Hill brand ice cream. Turkey Hill’s wide variety of flavors never fails to impress my family and me. After I take a bite, it leaves me gobbling for more…No pun intended.
Since my favorite flavor is Peppermint Stick, and that’s usually only available around Christmas time, I’m looking forward to trying the Junior Mint ice cream. I hope I find it in my local stores soon!

We have ice cream every Wednesday night at our office. I hunt for new flavors, and have to battle the chocolate versus vanilla crowds. This is a nice blend, and will quash all complaints!

Junior Mint sounds delightful…I can’t wait to try it! I wish Turkey Hill would provide a CHOCOLATE Junior Mint for us chocoholics, perhaps even a dark chocolate ice cream instead of the mint ice cream. I’d also vote for the “Light” variety to be available. I like the idea of less fat in the ice cream, and some of the double churned varieties are indistinguishable from the full-fat versions.

To bad, I won’t be trying it. My household loves Turkey Hill but have boycotted any of the flavors that are now sold only in 1.5 quarts. Don’t feel like we are getting our monies worth when Turkey Hill DOWNSIZED from 1.75 quart containers!

I have tried Duetto, Chocolate and Coconut and its fantastic, so is the Root Beer. But last night I searched 3 stores for Junior Mint and its still not here in Staten Island yet. Can you say, “Yum!!!”? The only thing better would be to do what I’ve done for years now … save your Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies in the freezer until summertime. Then, buy a half gallon of the Turkey Hill Phila Style Vanilla ice cream. Get out those GS cookies, chop ‘em up and sprinkle them over a big heaping bowl of that ice cream. It’s like Heaven on earth! sorry to see ice cream hit the recession list. the half gallon is getting smaller. 1.5qts ??? see when I was a child I was sickly and ICE CREAM was the only food I could keep down. ( sorry ) therefore I became a ADDICT buying two containers. one for the family and one for myself. oh! BOY!

LOVED(!!!) the new Junior Mint Limited Edition. The ice cream was wonderfully creamy and the pieces of candy added the perfect pop. Had to buy two containers when we saw it and was dissappointed with the amount of candy in the one but the other container was better. Will definately buy it again if I find it!

When all the limited edition ice creams come out we like to try them all. It makes it real fun. However, we all still have our favorites – chocolate chip mint and chocolate.
I found five containers of TH Junior Mints in Bassett, VA yesterday- they are now in my freezer along with 7 containers of Gertrude Hawk Box of Chocolates. Just bring your products 50 miles south to Winston-Salem, NC and I will be one happy dude.
