Many years ago Philly had an unbeatable delicious ice cream in Breyers. Then some Midwest company bought it and changed the recipe. Turkey Hill has put Pa. back on the map with far better tasting ice cream. Best I have ever tasted in 72 yrs. (Just moved back to Philly from the South after 35 yrs so I have tried many, many brands). Thanks! Please dont change the recipe!

I think there should be a free sampling set up in my hometown of Binghamton New York, along with various community colleges there is also SUNY Binghamton Univeristy which has over 20,000 students. We are the carousel capital of the world, and host the “Spedie” Fest (which comes up in August) and the BC Open and the NYS Empire games in August so any of these events would be perfect for Turkey Hill ice cream promotion and tasting!

I never had this brand of ice cream before until I went and visited my mother. She had some in her freezer, and told me that I just have to try it. Mmmm… it was so good! I’m sold I wish I was closer to one of the sampling events so I could attend.

Today I went to the store and was happily suprised. TH was on sale at half price. So I bought the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, a Rum Raison and something that I did not see before – Double-Decker Ice Cream sandwiches.
I ate one of the sandwiches and guess what – its in the ‘you can’t eat one’
category.

I was surprised to receive an e-mail from Turkey Hill. I love your ice cream, especially the way the popularity crosses all generations. I’ve found you can never go wrong with Turkey Hill ice cream. I make ice cream treats for company meals, for my grandkids and take it to my mom twice a week when I go to visit. It lights up her face like I just gave her a million dollars.

Just read the newsletter and saw the Junior Mint ice cream coming out – I cannot wait to taste that. The baked apple ice cream was so delicious and tasted like I baked an apple–I cannot wait for the cool junion mints.

I buy two flavors every week – tried to hide the coffee one from her husband but he loves it so I have to share now.

I’ve tried every brand of vanilla out there and Turkey Hill is the only one I will put in my freezer. Perfect taste, perfect melting ratio, not to mention it’s all natural…….no high fructose corn syrup. The taste is so crisp its like you are in a green meadow smelling the fresh cold air of the blue snowey mountains…..gotta get up and get some NOW !!!

My best friend’s mom lives in Hershey so my first taste of Turkey Hill was when I visited there – and ohmygosh! was I in love – the decadence!! I wish I had known about the “All You Can Eat” for-charity weekend – I sure would have found airfare I could afford and been there; but next year I’ll know and I’ll diet for weeks before! Several years back we made it an annual visit to Lancaster for the Turkey Hill All You Can Eat Ice Cream Festival at the new Lancaster Square. I believe it benefitted the Lancaster Library. I first tasted Southern Lemon Pie there and I consider it the best flavor ever. My family and friends would have a caravan making the trip each year. I miss that but I understand how and why things change and I make this one of my fondest memories. Thank You Turkey Hill for the wonderful memory!

We have our own personal all you can eat Turkey Hill ice cream party every week during the summer in our back yard. My husband always wins hands down. He can eat more chocolate marshmellow than anyone. Every month at our home is National Ice Cream Month. Our freezer has a minimum of 5 half gallons at all times. We have no children at home just two adults, and of course the usual friends and neighbors who know we have 5 half gallons at all times.

Ever since I can remember, two things have gotten me into trouble…… Ice cream & chocolate. I can still hear my my mother yelling, “Who finished off the last of the ice cream?!!!” So……….I figured that

by leaving a spoonful or two in the bottom of the container solved everything. I must have been one of the first kids to understand the “weight/not volume” principle.

So now that I’m no longer responsible to anyone but for one college-age child still commuting from home, I heard the familiar “Who ate all the Ice Cream?” again and this time didn’t have to cringe and worry. Just answered, “That be me and Roscoe(always share the blame ,that’s one of the things you can do with your dog), if you want some-go get some.”

Honestly, I am not crazy about any ice cream (especially brand name ones), let alone Turkey Hill ice cream. I just make my own yougart ice cream with 100% natural and organic ingredients. If Turkey Hill ice cream is made of 100% natural and organic ingredients, it is then I will try to consume this product. Otherwise, any man-made (non-natural and non-organic) ingredients will completely damage one’s hypothalamus system to cause obesity.

No other brand compares to the smooth, creamy indulgence you guys churn out. My faves are Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter, Rum Raisin and your Vanilla (any kind).

I am heartbroken. My husband just fell and tore up his leg. It just is not polite to leave him lying here alone in his cast to go do what I would rather be doing, eating Turkey Hill ice cream. $5.00 for all day??? I can’t go? Oh, the pain!!!

I can’t even get to Mom’s house in CT to buy my own Turkey Hill for THREE months. That’s how long the doctor said he has to keep on his ankle to thigh cast. This is not right! This is not FAIR!!! Oh, the pain….

Wish I could go to PA and meet all the Turkey Hill folks, but the cost of gas is just too high – and it’s also my granddaughter’s birthday and she would be mad if I wasn’t at her party. I was born in Lancaster County PA, though (exception college and the USAF) most of my life has been spent in SW VA.

I have always loved had a passion for cream, though I am not particulary fond of sweets; per se. When I was in high school, and during the off seasons for track and football, I would work for the old Salem Ice Cream Dairy Bar where I truly cultivated a love for ice cream. The only difference now is that due to medical reasons I must rely on Turkey Hill Fat Free Ice Cream which is extremely difficult to find at a reasonable price in Salem VA.

Be that as it may I have suggested on several occasions that more effort be expended to promote your wonderful Fat Free brands to the public, as many folks who are not on a restrictive diet do not realize just how good “Fat Free” can be.

I am still a runner as well as a single parent father of two sons (who both enjoy ice cream as much as I do) and we make it a point to enjoy a large bowl of fat free ice cream every night.

I, personally, believe that ice cream is one of the healthiest deserts that can be purchased by the American consumer, or any consumer for that matter, and, as stated especially Turkey Hill Fat Free Ice Cream.

Obviously, and for a number of reasons, I would love to win one of the contests offering a trip to Lancaster County and a years supply of Turkey Hill Ice Cream.

Regardless, I am one of your largest supporters and will continue to be until the cows runs dry.

I would love to go but have plans. I gave my granddaughter ice cream cone on Sunday (she is 2 1/2 years old) yesterday and she was so excited. She told her Mom and Dad as soon as she saw them. They always tell on the Grandparents so try to keep it in the legal bounds. Hallie had it on her from top to bottom, only way to enjoy Turkey Hill Ice Cream in the right. I tried to take a picture but of course that is when the camera won’t work properly so maybe next time.
I feel that anything that comes from Turkey Hill can be trusted is this a fair statement? Where would we be without ice cream, we all scream for ice cream made from Turkey Hill!

I would love to be part of the festivities but July 4th is my moms 94th birthday. Family is coming in to celebrate and we will have Turkey Hill ice cream for dessert, hopefully I will find Junior Mint! My son is a mint lover!! Thank you again TH!!!

After reading through all the responses, I have a suggestion. For those who can’t make it, and even for those who can. Why not choose a weekend that works in your life, or even a day, where from 7:00 – 10:00 you hold your own “all-you-can-eat” ice cream open house. What a great way to encourage friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc, to get together and enjoy one of the greatest simple pleasures in life…Turkey Hill ice cream! All ages would surely enjoy it! Soop! Clink! Smile!

Since all locations are too far to drive with the price of gas…I’ll just take the money I would have spent on gas and spend it on Turkey Hill ice cream. I’m having several friends over for the 4Th of July so our treat at the end of the day will be “make your own sundae.” I can’t think of a better way to end the 4th. Eat Turkey Hill ice cream and watch the Philly fireworks on TV.

Wow wow wow, if I wasn’t working at my own oncology unit that WHOLE weekend, I would totally be there eating and celebrating!!! Have a great time to everyone who goes and enjoys!!! While I sit back and work and eat hospital brand ice cream for 3 days…so sad…

Dani – Turkey Hill’s ice cream will be at the Super Scooper Ice Cream Festival, unfortunately the rest of us are unable to attend. We were really looking forward to meeting you! There won’t be any Baked Apple Dumpling but there will be plenty of Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup (which won second place in the Ultimate Flavor Tournament), Party Cake, Graham Slam, and our new Junior Mint to be enjoyed!
