I absolutely love cows, sheep, chickens, etc. I can’t wait until the great NYS Fair in a few more weeks just to go through the dairy building where you can try milk for .50 and watch the man create the butter sculpture.

I also love fun things like this to visit. We stopped at Moes world famous Diner in Wisconsin on our way to a wedding. Looks like a hole in the wall diner, but inside it was like the old type diners with AWESOME food. The local Mennenite came by to eat and there was a HUGE bull and chicken outside. Reminds me of the cow.

  6. Kathy says:

You should bring the Giant Cow up this way (Rochester NY). It’d be fun to see the cow standing in front of Wegmans. :)

  15. Peg Cramer says:

Rebecca, your memories of the State Fair reminded me of how scared I was as a teenager passing through the narrow walkways of the cow stalls in the dairy barn, past all the rumps of cows on show…I was afraid that a cow would kick me. I did not learn until I was in my 30s that cows cannot kick backwards! Obviously, I was not a farm girl, but a cityslicker.

  16. Jacqueline says:

I have a small collection of black and white cows. The picture is really neat! The coolest cow I’ve ever seen, though, is the one our dentist uses on mission trips abroad – it is a cow puppet with a full set of “human” teeth, that squirts water. The kids all seem to relate!

  21. Deb says:

She looks puzzled–maybe she heard that someone was gong to serve Brand X ice cream instead of Turkey Hill.
