JERRY - Thanks for your comment about Cherry Duetto. We'll pass your comment along to our flavor developement team. You'd be surprised at how often customer feedback becomes reality when it comes time to create new flavors or revise current ones!

A few years ago, Turkey Hill came out with a flavor called "Peaches And Cream"
I am still searching for that flavor in the grocery stores, but can't seem to find it. Let's hope it comes out soon. That is one of the best flavors of Turkey Hill's many good flovors.

I love fresh peach season and nothing tastes better than the bowl of raspberry duetto covered with peach slices that I had last night. Maybe today I'll have this for dessert after lunch cause dinner is to far away.

OK, I've been waiting for coconut cream pie to hit the stores and it was finally there yesterday - it's awesome! And a funny story for you - my brother was riding home from a card game (we live in a typical suburban area around a city) - when he saw a cow in the road! He followed it down the street of the development, and we later found out it was really a bull that had escaped from a rodeo being held locally - and it's still on the loose! Turkey HIll rides again!

I love this place. I can talked about ice cream all day and not gain a ounce. I am having a coffee with a tablespoon of Turkey HIll vanilla ice cream in it.
I love the Lemon and Vanilla Duetto. I like the way it taste and it's good after I have a heavy meal.

I never thought about reading ice cream blogs other than this one. Thanks for the heads up. Right now, we're enjoying the Neapolitan nonfat and the pomagranate blueberry. Both great! But my favorite is still vanilla fudge nonfat yogurt which I couldn't find in the stores up in the Fort Lee, NJ area where we moved to recently. Central Jersey has better stores and I miss them!

It really is weird how ice cream blogs are non-existent. In fact, it just didn't seem right and I decided to start my own to add to the handful that are out there. If you want, come on over to onsecondscoop.com. I like to think it's about trying to slow down just a bit and really appreciate ice cream.

It's been a ton of fun blogging these last months and I'd love to know what people think. Better yet, I hope I inspire you to spend a few more minutes in the freezer section.

p.s. Sorry for the shameless plug, I couldn't resist.

p.s.s I love ice cream and I love Turkey Hill! It's not that far from where I was born!

We LOVE the Duetto Lemon and Vanilla. However, recently we tried the Cherry and Vanilla and felt it was too much cherry and not enough vanilla. The only way we could eat it was to mix a little cherry/vanilla with plain vanilla ice cream in our dish. Just wondering if you have had other comments about the cherry being too strong? We will continue buying, and enjoying, the lemon and vanilla. Thank you for the opportunity to comment, Jerry
