Back in May we told you that a camera crew from the Food Network stopped by the Dairy to film a segment for their always entertaining show “Unwrapped” and we promised we’d let you know when that episode would air. Tune into the Food Network on Monday, October 13 at 9pm to see Ernie and Turkey Hill showing off our ice cream making process.
The topic of this particular episode is peanut butter and, while the crew was at the Dairy, Ernie showed them how our peanut butter infused Moose Tracks ice cream is made. We’d make suggestions for which flavor of ice cream you should be eating while you watch, but it’s probably pretty obvious!
UPDATE: For those of you that missed the original airing this episode will air again this Friday at 11:30PM. To keep track of this episode to see when it may air again just visit the Food Network’s Unwrapped page.

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
we’ll have to flip back & forth between the Food Network and the Phillies game 4 (which starts at 822pm ET).
What a great combination of my favorite ice cream and my favorite television network. I wish I had some Moosetracks right now. Congrats on your publicity. I can’t wait to tune into Unwrapped.
I can’t wait to watch the show!
That is wonderful publicity and I can’t wait to watch this, especially since they are featuring Moose Tracks, which is one of my favorites.
Thanks for letting us know when this will be on.
locking it into the tivo since I will be working Monday night. Cannot miss a wonderful oppertunity to see TH being produced!
Unfortunately I am one of these few people who do not like peanut butter, but I still love Turkey Hill Ice Cream along with enjoying Food Network. I will definitely plan on watching. Way to go!!!!!!
What a fantastic opportunity for publicity – now absolutely EVERYBODY will want it shipped to their states (or countries!) Be prepared to greatly expand your Farm! Can’t wait to see it.
Can’t wait to watch and I will be eating Moose Tracks!
We watch Unwrapped all the time, so see you there Oct. 13th.
Already got the DVR ready. Can’t wait to see you on the big screen. Nice work!
Too bad we don’t get the Food Network. We just have an attenae.
I love peanut butter and I’ll be watching!!
The food network picked the right man [Ernie]and the right company. If you ever get a chance watch Ernie on pcn tours.
Congratulations, this is wonderful for all of you at Turkey Hill!
I have eaten Edy’s Ice Cream for years. I eat ice cream every night. I have tried your Cookies and Cream Ice Cream and you have me a customer for life. This is the best ice cream I have ever tasted, and I have tried a lot of other brands.
Unfortunately, I missed the program tonight. Will it be repeated? It’s certainly great publicity for Turkey Hill. As a result people may try and possibly become consumers of Turkey Hill ice cream.
I missed it, but am eating moose tracks right now while I am sending.this. Also, some skinny minty and choco chip. have to mix them all together.
i watched the episode–and TastyKake tandytakes followed right after TH! 2 local favorites! but i don’t think that they mentioned TH by name at anytime during the tour. also, Ernie’s title was ‘Denali something’, not TH. they kept on saying Denali this and Denail that. so i assume that TH has the franchise to produce and sell Denali’s exclusive Moose Tracks flavor in it’s territory, as the show mentioned that it’s a top seller nationwide, and TH doesn’t distribute nationwide.
the fact that the Phillies also won meant that last nite’s tv viewing was a home run!
Missed the first two shows, but will try for the third. Maybe I’ll tape it, as I don’t want to miss it again.
I had no idea the epsiode was on this Monday when I wathced but I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty cool to see Ernie and the making of ice cream.TH is the best!
Yay Ernie! We are so proud of you! Great spot!
