THE HOLIDAY FLAVORS ARE HERE!

Posted by Turkey Hill Team on November 14th, 2008

‘Tis the season for special holiday flavors of Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Of course, we’re talking about our annual Egg Nog and Peppermint Stick varieties. The Egg Nog Premium Ice Cream is available in stores now (it has been for a few weeks) and the Peppermint Stick should be arriving on shelves very shortly (depending on your location). And if you’re an egg nog fan don’t forget to check out Turkey Hill’s egg nog drinks, which are also currently in stores.

Some of you may remember Rum Raisin was also, at one time, a seasonal flavor but due to popular demand it was added to the year-round line-up. Anyone want to vote to make Egg Nog or Peppermint Stick part of the permanent rotation?

Yes, I vote for both! Haf them both in the past when I lived in Pa. Now I cannot get Turkey Hill product. That is unless I want to drive over 50 miles one way or go back home and stock up! What a shame – I miss it so much.

  4. Lisa in Pa says:

OH HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!! Now I can sit back with my peppermint stick and a classic Christmas movie (my favorite is “It’s A Wounderful Life”) and really get in the mood for Christmas. You know we can all take a little something from that movie especially now in these times. My husband and I REALLY do have a wounderful life. Each other, our girls, AND TURKEY HILL PEPPERMINT STICK. YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!

Thanks for mking the Holidays extra special!!

  11. Deb says:

If you make all the special seasonal flavors of Turkey Hill ice cream regular flavors, then we won’t have anything to look forward to when the holidays come. My vote is to have seasonal flavors that come and go more often — after all, variety is the spice of life!

  12. Lorraine says:

Can’t wait to try the holiday flavors.

  13. Bob Kessler Jr says:

I think the seasonal flavors should stay seasonal. It adds to the celebration of the holidays and makes that Turkey Hill flavor special and stand out. Also, as someone else has pointed out, you look forward to having the Egg Nog and Peppermint Stick around the holidays. So don’t mke these flavors permanent – keep them seasonal.

  14. Sue says:

I actually went on your site & made a list of the sugar free & yogurt flavors that are available, to give to my frozen foods manager at our local store. I wanted to show him all the other flavors he could be stocking, instead of the same few he keeps getting in. I’ll have to check again now, to see if he’s getting the Egg Nog & Peppermint Stick flavors in. I realize they aren’t sugar free or Yogurt, but I can splurge once in a while! BTW,, I think the holiday flavors should be kept available ONLY during the holidays, it’s what makes them so special.

  15. Robbin L. Netz says:

We love the Turkey Hill Egg Nog drink put in the blender with a scoop of T.H. vanilla ice cream, and a scoop of T.H. egg nog. It is absolutely delicious! You can also add a shot of your favorite adult beverage, rum works well. Serve in an attractive glass…your guests will love it!

  16. debbie f. says:

Keep Peppermint stick and egg nog seasonal because they remind you of the holiday season. but I’m thinking take some of your other limited edition flavors like Box of Chocolates or Pineapple Upside down cake and add them to the regular line-up and that allows you to introduce new limited edition flavors.

  17. mary frey says:

wow,the holidays will be nice with some turkey hill ice cream ,can not wait; will have stock up

  18. Pamela SHeppad says:

As much as I look forward to the seasonal flavors if they were always around it would be nothing to look forward to so please don’t take away my dreams by making them all year long

  36. peg says:

I have never tried these flavors, but how can they not be good.

  37. Nancy N says:

Sound good. An Eggnog Float sounds good to me!

  38. Pat says:

How can you say Turkey Hill and not follow through by sayimg Bailey’s Creme?
It’s like hot chocolate without marsh-mallows. Keep the flavors seasonal. It gives you something to look forward to after that awful letdown about Santa Claus. I still can’t believe it’s true. Next thing you know they’ll say there’s no Easter Bunny.

  39. Tina Ingham says:

Please keep Peppermint Stick around all year. I always have to stock up every Christmas to try and last me all year long. In fact, I just opened my last container from last year just in time to buy the new stuff. Great idea!

  40. Carol Triano says:

I do hope they keep the Peppermint Stick as a year round flavor..Great for making ice cream cake on the holidays and so refreshing to eat…..It has my vote……

  41. flo says:

I never saw the Limited Edition Swiss Almond! Sounds delicious. Do we have to wait long to bring it back?

  42. Lisa in PA says:

    I vote for PEPPERMINT STICK!!!!

  43. Karen says:

I’d try both if you would come out with light editions. They sound great but then again so do all your ice creams.

  44. Loretta says:

Yes! Please add Peppermint to the permanent stock rotation. If you do that we won’t need to stock up and save for year round. It is delicious!
    Loretta

  45. chris says:

Peppermint is my all-time favorite!! Keep it coming! So refreshing when it’s hot out and still so Christmas-y when it’s not!
