This is it – the last day of our 12 Days of Ice Cream celebration. On behalf of everyone here at Turkey Hill Dairy, we hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday with friends, family and, of course, a bowl of your favorite ice cream! Speaking of ice cream (don’t we always?), don’t forget to vote in our Ultimate Holiday Recipe Contest in the poll on the right. To view each finalist, click on the links in the paragraph at the top of this page.
We have to admit, the last two weeks have been some of the best ever here on the Ice Cream Journal and we’re so happy to see so many new readers. We hope all of you decide to stick around and become permanent members of our ice cream blogging community.
As promised two weeks ago, we’re going to choose one comment from all of the many comments left here on the Ice Cream Journal to win our grand prize: A one year supply of Turkey Hill ice cream for you AND a one year supply of Turkey Hill ice cream for a friend! We’ll choose the winner in the next few days and let you know who it is. Good luck!
TODAY’S PRIZES: Since we missed a day somewhere in the craziness of the last two weeks, we’re giving away TWO prizes today. Being Christmas, it only seems fitting.
The first is the HO Ike Ice Cream Truck, a true 1:87 scale, hand-painted and “realistically weathered” replica of the real thing – including tiny people! That’s it on the right. One commenter at random will be chosen to receive it PLUS a couple of coupons for some free Turkey Hill ice cream.
And we’ve saved the nicest daily prize for last. At least we think so. It’s a set of four colorful ceramic ice cream bowls and one matching three-section serving bowl to hold a trio of your favorite sundae toppings (we suggest diced walnuts, crushed pineapple and sprinkles). Leave a comment here to be in the running to win this party-starter.

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
It was fun to read the comments of so many people who enjoy ice cream as much as I do! We enjoyed Turkey Hill chocolate mint chip and Eagles ice cream with our Christmas dinner today. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all the people at Turkey Hill. And yes, it wouldn’t be Christmas without some Turkey Hill vanilla on top of my cherry pie!
Merry Christmas to all Turkey Hill ice cream makers and eaters. Love all the comments posted, thankful for Turkey Hill, and every day so I can test your products. Love them all.
We ate our big family meal at noon today. I’m stuffed but could still fit in a big spoonful of ice cream. Merry Christmas and a safe & healthy New Year to everyone!
Merry Christmas Turkey Hill and all ice Cream lovers!
Merry Christmas and thanks for the 12 days of Christmas contest. It’s tons of fun.
My son would love to win today’s prize as well as the year’s supply of ice cream.
My daughter loves gifts and surprises so this entry is for her.
My youngest son would LOVE the ice cream truck
The bowls are just beautiful! I think all the prizes looked like nice ones. Merry Christmas!
I think the bowls are very festive, and the truck is cute, too. Merry Christmas!!
Happy Holidays everyone
That is a nice replica ice cream truck. Also those are some exotic bowls. Merry Christmas!
Thanks to the Turkey Hill folks for putting so much work into their blog and for all the goodies they offer. Turkey Hill is pretty new in my market and I’m glad I don’t have to drive to PA just to get a good jug of tea. I just picked up a carton of Mango-Vanilla Duetto to test over the holidays and I can give it a thumbs up.
The bowls sure could hold a lot of my favorite turkey hill Egg NOG& RUM RAISIN at this time of the year& The ice cream truck is like the one that used to come to our neighborhood when i was growing up HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVEERONE
I was thinking there were only three bowls, a three-section server and its blue lid, but what I thought was a lid is a bowl sitting on its side.
Thank you, I hope everyone has a great Christmas!
First time here and I was pleasantly surprised that you give out gifts, the truck is soo cute
I hope I win the years supply ice cream, especially if I can find the Southern Lemon Pie, yummy
I’ve enjoyed each day reading the journal entries and waiting to see what the prize for that day would be. I made the ice cream cake roll for today and it was delicious. Thank you again !
I love those ice cream bowls! How festive!! And, I have the perfect spot for that nostalgic Ice Cream Truck!
Merry Christmas!!!
Once again I’ve really enjoyed the 12 days of Christmas. Thanks Turkey Hill.
To all the ice cream lovers out there we hope you had a wonderful holiday.
I would love to win the HO Ike Ice Cream Truck. It is so nice and looks so realistic. I also would love to win the colorful ceramic ice cream bowls. They are very nice and I would love to be able to use them around my house especially since I love ice cream and the Turkey Hill brand so much. These are great giveaways. Thanks for the opportunities to win.
This has been a fun 12 days. Thanks Turkey Hill!!
I LOVE those ice cream bowls! Wht fun it would be to eat my Turkey Hill ice cream out of them!
Merry Christmas.
I enjoy your vanilla ice cream. Thank you for the contest.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I want to wish all of you at Turkey Hill a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
Either of the prizes (the Ice Cream truck and the bowls) would be fun to win.
My grandson would love that truck, and I would love the dishes!
Those ice cream bowls are the CUTEST THINGS I have EVER seen!!! If I win them, I might have to increase my ice cream intake to an everyday occasion just so I have an excuse to use them!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TURKEY HILL!! KEEP ON ROCKIN’!
These ice cream bowls are great!! I am a college student so I’m always excited about new bowls or dishware! I also would not mind winning a year’s supply of ice cream…ah! Thanks for the awesome contest
Happy Holidays!!! I’m an icecreamaholic and you saved the best ’til last!!! Me and and having Turkey Hill Ice Cream for dessert while celebrating the holidays with friends and family!!! It doesn’t get better than that!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Great prizes again! Thank you for all the fun during this very hectic time of year Turkey Hill! Happy Holidays to all!
The bowls are ADORABLE! The serving bowl is such a great idea! My sisters and I LOVE turkey hill. Those bowls would give us a great excuse to eat more ice cream
Thanx for the fun contest. It would be difficult to decide which of today’s prizes is better-kind of an apples and oranges thing-I would enjoy either.
Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Merry Christmas Turkey Hill! Great contest, with some awesome prizes!
It is always a holiday with TH
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. This blog is a wonderful thing that TH does. But stull cannot beat TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM AND BEVERAGES. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Happy Holidays to all! I hope everyone can celebrate with a big bowl of Turkey Hill ice cream. I would love to win these prize bowls, it would be the present ever (after the one year of Turkey Hill of course).
Two very lovely prizes to finish off the 12 days of ice cream. That truck is a beauty and who wouldn’t enjoy eating ice cream out of the ceramic bowls? And to win a year of TH ice cream? Heaven!
Best wishes to all for a happy and healthy new year!
The bowls are lovely. The only thing better would be to have some ice cream in them, that would be Turkey Hill ice cream.
I’m so bummed that Christmas came and went without me having any Turkey Hill Eggnog Ice Cream! I sure would make me feel better if I won a prize!
Good Morning to Turkey Hill and Fans,
I know if I win the ice cream bowl set..they will be put to good use. I will eat all of my Turkey Hill ice cream out of them…I know my grandson will too. They saw them. They said if I win them..they will eat all of their Turkey Hill ice cream out of them. They are so pretty. You can used them for every day. Turkey Hill You have the niecest gift to give away. I hope I win the bowl set.
those bowls are really cute-wishing everybody a Happy and Healthy New Year (filled with ice cream!!)
These bowls are perfect to hold the best ice cream there is! Turkey Hill!! Happy New Year!
Wow, my daughter would love these bowls to put her favorite chocolate peanut butter cup in.
Leave it to Turkey Hill to give some lucky winner such nice gifts. I would be happy with anyone of them. A year supply of the best ice cream in the world would be the ice cream on the cake, so to speak. Anyway good luck to all of us who write in the journal. Linda
All the colors in these bowls remind me of all the different flavors Turkey Hill has to offer in their ice cream. Yum, would love to have these bowls to eat my Turkey Hill ice cream from. Keep that ice cream rolling out.Happy New Year’s.
Those icecream bowls are cool! Happy New Year to All!!!
I hope everyones holiday was as delightful as those bowls are. Love that truck!
Turkey Hill Ice Cream is THE BEST!! I love so many of the flavors, and they come up with some very interesting names for the new ones.
I could not find your Egg Nog Ice Cream this Christmas. I’ll have to dream of “Christmas Past” when I scored 2 containers of it. It is really good!
It has been so much fun to be part of the Turkey Hill Ice Cream Christmas Journal Celebration!!!
Ice cream has always been a huge part of my life and my entire family.
I made a Malt Shoppe for the holidays using Turkey Hill Chocolate/Vanilla, the basic flavors are just as good as the fancy named ones. I am a big fan of Choclate Mint, not many in my family like it, so I can eat it all myself.
Happy Healthy Ice Cream New Year to Everyone!!!
Marilynn
I forgot the word “Pie’. It was a Malt Shoppe Pie that I made.
Marilynn
Merry Christmas and thanks for the annual fun contest!
Thanks for “the 12 days of ice cream”-I enjoyed reading all of the memories and comments re the different flavors. Keep the flavors coming all through the new year!
The ice cream truck is adorable and the bowls are so pretty especially with the three section server for toppings, everyone can make their own sundae with Turkey Hill ice cream and their own favorite toppings. I agree with your statement that you saved the best for last!
I have enjoyed reading the little facts presented over the past weeks. This giveaway is a perfect ending treat. Representing a little nostalgia *an old fashioned ice cream truck along with a modern set of ice cream bowls. Which reminds me of Turkey Hill Ice Cream – nostalgic in its creamy and rich taste but modern with its newly introduced flavors.
I agree with you Ernie it was fun plus I learned new things about ice cream. Maybe next year when you can add to the comment names where we are from. It would be interesting to see how wide spread us “commenters” are. To the TH Family and all the commenters our family wishes all A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR and we look forward to the blogs of 2009.
Those dishes remind me of a set my grandmother used to have and we never knew what they were for. Maybe they were ice cream dishes?! At any rate,, all the prizes were great for this contest,,but the best of all would be the free ice cream! A years supply of Turkey Hill ice cream,, what more could anyone ask for? Perfect ending to make this year great or to start the New Year!
Merry Christmas and thanks for the fun contest. Yesterday we had delicious ice-cream for our Christmas dinner dessert.
Hmm..I wonder how much ice-cream I could eat in a year? Sounds like a lot of fun!
Hate to see it end but a year of ice cream would make everyone in my house very happy!!!!
WOW…free ice cream for a year! My idea of heaven!
Love the ice cream bowls-they are so colorful and fresh, just like the Turkey Hill ice cream. Happy Holidays!
Thanks for hosting the contest again this year. If I am fortunate enough to win the ice cream for a year, I plan to invite many of our friends and neighbors to visit with us throughout the year. Many of them are going through challenging times and a break in their routine for an evening of fellowship just might be an encouragement and a help to them. The ice cream will provide a good reason to host such special events.
Love that ice cream truck, reminds me when I was a kid, that was a long/long time ago, and unfortunately I don’t think Turkey Hill was in my area way back then. Now are freezer always has at least two Turkey Hill in the freeze, sometimes four. Merry XMAS & Happy New Year….. Keep it coming
The ice cream truck is awesome- so nostalgic.
That truck is GREAT , I collect cars and trucks that would fit right in.Happy holidays to everyone and remember to celebrate with ice cream !!!
I thought on Dec 26th the blog would no longer be accessible. With two great prizes up for grabs I’m happy to post some additional entries.
I love the bowls and the kids love the truck. We all love ice cream especially Turkey Hill.
So yesterday (Belate Christmas everyone & Happy New year too) my cousin realised she didn’t have any ice cream. I volunteered to go. Everyone moaned. I’m such a chocoholic that last christmas I brought TH Chocomint, Chocolate Peanut Butter, EggNog and Philly style Chocolate with chocolate sprinkles, chocolate cookie crumbs, chocolute fudge and the hard chocolate sauce that hardens to a crunchy shell. Love my chocolate! LOL I promised I would bring only 1 chocolate Philly style, eggnog and the Nutty Neapolitan. Everyone said what’s that? I said you’ll see. So off the Pathmark I went TH was on sale. I bought all of the above plus the Mango duetto. While I drooled and pulled out TH. The lady next to me complained that all natural B—–s (name withheld to protect the non innocent) Hehehe was on sale for 4.99. TH was 2.48 but she said you don’t like TH. I said What! Try the Philly style 1 it’s on sale and 2 it’s all natural from PA. She said thanks and grabbed the vanilla bean. She asked me what was that? I said Duetto, think gelato plus mouth watering sorbet. She was italian and grabbed the rasberry one. I was so proud of myself. We all should become card carrying TH ambassadors spreading the word of Turkey Hill!
We watched Eddie Murphy’s Delirious and just looking at that truck brought those memories back. Back then 70′s they did have those uniforms. Good luck all. Can’t wait for that calendar to have my excuse for TH all year long. Like I need an excuse!
The little truck is great, and I would put those ice cream bowls to good use, too! Thanks to Turkey Hill for running this blog and contest. It was fun!
I’ve been putting Turkey Hill into my morning coffee, so much better than milk or coffeemate!
Really great prizes !!! ….and I hope you all had a very “Merry Christmas”.
My students and I would love to have the ice cream truck! The bowls would occupy a special space in my family kitchen–we all scream for ice cream.
AWESOME PRIZE – ICE CREAM FOR A FRIEND, TOO! That’s cool!
The party starter is beautiful, the ceramic bowls are so bright and would look great with scoops of Turkey Hill Ice Cream in them……..The ice cream truck is cute also, would look nice sitting on a shelf in the kitchen…Whatever, I like both gifts you are giving away.
When I was a child we had two ice cream trucks that used to come regularly during the summer. One was the Bungalow Bar which was a truck shaped like a bungalow with a slanted roof coming to a peak. If you ordered an ice cream on a stick, if the words “Bungalow Bar” appeared on the stick you would get a free ice cream.
The other truck was the Good Humor Ice Cream truck. That truck also had a unusual configuration which made it much easier for the driver to get out of the truck since there were no doors.
We would always argue whose ice cream was better. That’s a bit of history for you.
Thanks for the great contests and the wonderful blog…I plan on staying on thruout the year..hope everyone else does to. By the Way… just how many gallons is a years supply of TH?
Ah this is so cute!
I love Jacqueline’s suggestion to use Turkey Hill ice cream in coffee instead of milk. I often don’t have milk in the house, but I almost always make sure to have Turkey Hill ice cream in the freezer. This is a great tip for when I’m snowed in this winter! Also, I’m thinking of different varieties of ice cream that would give a unique flavor to my coffee.
So sad the 12 Days of Ice Cream are over. I learned a lot reading the blog and will continue to check in on a regular basis.
Thank you!
The ice cream bowls are great…even greater with Turkey Hill ice cream served in them!!!
NOTHING SAYS CHRISTMAS LIKE TURKEY HILL EGG NOG ICECREAM.
Nice!!!
I LOVE the bowls!
So does the ice cream truck play any of the music from the ice cream truck CD that was featured a couple blogs back?
This was my first blog (last year I believe) and to date it’s still my only. Just like Turkey Hill ice cream – my one and only.
The one dessert I’ll always allow my children is a dish of ice cream. Perhaps that’s because I eat it every day.
2 nice prizes.way to go!
Thanks, TH, for your delicious products!!! The peppermint was great, but gone before Christmas arrived..and it was out at the store, too!!!
Thanks to Turkey Hill for celebrating the holidays WITH us. Not just advertising TO us.
I’ve enjoyed the 12 days of ice cream and sorry that there were not more. Every day has been interesting and a learning experience. And those ice cream bowls are unique and colorful. I can see myself enjoying my favorite Turkey Hill ice cream in those beautiful bowls.
Turkey Hill Ice Cream has been our favorite for a long time. My only wish
is that the containers would be 64 oz.
instead of 56 oz. That would mean 8 more ounces of enjoyment.
The 12 days of ice cream have been fun & I’ve learned some interesting facts about Turkey Hill & ice cream. Thank you!!
Enjoyed playing 12 days of Christmas.
No prize yet. Hope I,m lucky with one of the last 2. Sure would like to win years supply of Turkey Hill Icecream
for myself and a friend.
a belated thanks to TH for the 2009 calendar. we’ve used 2 coupons so far. nice looking truck and bowl set. happy new year everyone.
I’m gonna put TH ice cream in a bowl & sprinkle tiny people over it.
Happy holidays to you, too, and may you have a prosperous New Year! May you survive the economic downturn (and I know you will with the excellent quality product you produce). I missed the day you placed the 11th and 12th day because I spent the day away with family. If I should by chance win the year’s supply of ice cream, I guarantee, most of it would go to the poor and elderly. My waistline needs a semi-break.
I love TH eggnog ice cream.I admit , I’m addicted.Wish we could have ot all year long, but I’m sure you’ll have many other wonderful flavors.(I’m thinking back to the southern lemon pie flavor I had last summer.OMG how delish!
I didn’t get the last message until December 26 as follows:
From: FeedBlitz (feedblitz@mail.feedblitz.com) on behalf of The Ice Cream Journal (icecreamjournal@gmail.com)
Sent: Fri 12/26/08 2:47 AM
So, I am sending this message in hopes that it will be among the winners of the year’s supply of ice cream. Last year on St. Pats Day, I organized a “singalong” party with a Sundae desert featuring Turkey Hill Mint Chocolate Chip at the Council on Aging Senior Center. Last week, at the Christmas Concert, the group served Turkey Hill Ice Cream with Strawberries and chocolate cake. If I am the winner of the year’s supply, it will go to the COA events that are held weekly through out the year. It certainly will bring happy smiles on the seniors faces with a belly full of Turkey Hill Ice Cream with the different flavors of the season.
Thank you for the 2009 calendar that I received in the mail. It was a lovely gesture and is greatly appreciated.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
I’ve enjoyed the 12 Days of Ice Cream. Hopefully, this will be a yearly event!
Thanks for another fun contest. Also, thanks for the calendar. May God Bless all of you throughout 2009. Amy
Thanks for a few days of ice cream-related entertainment!
THE BOWLS ARE ONE OF KIND JUST LIKE THE TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM; THEY WOULD MAKE A TALKATIVE DELIGHT TO SERVE THE TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM TO THE FAMILY OR GUEST
Just love the colors on the bowls! Can’t wait to taste turkey hill ice cream in them! YUM. We are a little late but…..MERRY CHRISTMAS to all ! Laddie says ..Woof Woof !!
I LOVE the bowls! I am a painter and they look like something that I could have hand-painted so I just love all the beautiful colors. This has been fun for me too…never did this before. I have enjoyed the journal, the possible prizes, and of course the ice cream I buy on a regular basis. Have a great prosperous New Year to all!
Make the 12 Days of Christmas last all year long…buy 12 different flavors of Turkey Hill…eat 1 flavor per day for 12 days…then repeat! The celebration never ends!
Blessed are those with Turkey Hill in their freezer for they shall be content. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukka to all.
cool bowls
I LOVE those bowls, they are the best for last! Thanks for a fun treat these few days!
Nice prizes…especially the bowls, so nice, they are like African-style, like the colorful bowls they use in Africa. I like that?
Well…
I am still having a blast with Turkey Hil, it just keeps getting better and better, and I know now that it will never ever stop, not even when Jesus returns to earth! It will go on for the rest of my life, and long after I’m dead!
Turkey Hill and Jesus are just two tightly together FOREVER, nothing will ever separate them!
Well…
I have so much to write to “you’s” about. I have to be very careful not to write “garbage,” but it’s so difficult to do? I just wanna write and write and write forever it seems, about anything and everything!
I just made at trip to Turkey Hill’s sister company Turkey Hill convenience store on Hershey Ave., in Lancaster, go there all the time, day and night, it’s like a nice getaway for me, as I’m usually homebound? I was thinking of what a great, spry 90-year-old I will be, going out “shopping” everyday, even it’s only around the corner to the Turkey Hill convenience store?
We should really try to get any older Lancaster folk that are confined to their houseys OUT for a daily trip to the Turkey Hill? So they can wander the aisles and shop there, and you could even give them some coupons sometimes? Nice community service, I think. Maybe you can just purchase a bus, and the job for this bus is taking folks to the Turkey Hill conveniences stores, for variety, you can just visit different Turkey Hill stores, maybe sometimes? I don’t know? But the bussing idea sounds good? I have a BLAST at the Turkey Hill on Hershey Ave. in Lancaseter, I know ALL the workers there, and they even know my name! And there are some other folk who hang out at the Turkey Hill there a lot too, and I am now getting to know them! It is just SO so fun!
A nice “break” from my day!
Oh well, what I got at the Turkey during my last trip there was, a 2 liter Pepsi, a gallon I guess of Turkey Hill iced tea, the big one (but I had forgotten to take my coupon along! That really irked me!) I got Oscar Meyer, I guess it is, “Bologna,” the beef kind, I just stared at it for long time through the glass, thinking I didn’t need it, that I could wait to get that at the Weis supermarket someday, cheaper there, but then, I got it! (And I came right home and made myself a samwich with it too, one of my favorite kinds of sandwiches too, ever since I was a child, forget Turkey, Ham, etc., just give me that regular balogney! With plenty of Mayo! Maybe some cheese?)
Oh well, of course I got my Capri Menthol Ultra Light cigarettes, which I’m definitely not proud of, but it’s the truth…I got more too, but can’t remember now what I got. Have to think hard? Oh well, earlier today, they had this “new” Febreeze, I didn’t really want it…but, I got it? Thought I may never find that again in the other stores in the future, it’s like they show me the good stuff, like the other day I got Tide stain remover in like a pen form?
Oh well, my car that I’m driving now, that my husband had purchased for me to use when I totalled my old car, which was a White Nissan Maxi, this “stupid” Ion car, sometimes, it won’t start up on me! Even though my husband purchased it new! It’s a LEMON! It left me “sit” at the Turkey Hill convenience store, so many times before, where I had to end up walking home from the Turkey Hill, in the cold sometimes too, late at night, etc.!
So, now, I don’t TRUST this car I’m driving AT ALL, so, what I do, no matter what time day or night that I go to the convenience store, I just leave my car on, radio on, everything, and go into the Turkey Hill convenience store, then come right out, I don’t worry about it getting stolen either, not at all, and am thinking that if God ever lets it gets stolen, that would be kind of good for me, maybe I could then get a new and better RELIABLE car to drive! So, it’s in God’s hands, I don’t think anyone really wants my Saturn Ion though anyway, but if they do, it would give the police officer something to do with their time, give a little excitement to my days, and who knows…maybe I shouldn’t do that though, because what if a teenager without a license would get tempted to steal the car? I don’t know, but right now, I just don’t want to have to walk home from the Turkey Hill, so, I’m leaving it on for now…I don’t even know if that legal to do now, I’m thinking, I have no clue, I don’t “think” it’s illegal? I hope the cops don’t make me turn it off though, because I’ll prolly have to walk home then all the time, then try to get my husband to go get the car later. Sometimes, it’ll start up for you then like 15 minutes later, but, you never know. I just complained to Saturn about this in a survey they sent me online, I really need to get off my butt and make a phone call to the local Saturn dealer and tell them my problems with this car and see if I can get them to HELP me! I was relying on my hubby to get it fixed, but so far, he hasn’t taken the car in.
Well…
I just told my VERY good friend, named “Diddy,” about you guys, and showed him the link to TurkeyHill.com and told him how much joy “you’s” bring me!
I told him on his latest blog post at his MySpace page at:
http://www.myspace.com/diddy
****
Well, I have SO much now to tell you about YOU, ME and DIDDY!
This is going to be SO FUN!
My friend, “Diddy” his real name that his mother gave to him is “Sean Combs.” He is African American. I think he “mostly” spends most of his time living in New York City right now?
HOWEVER, I always like this particular celebrity, he always turned me on, since I had first heard about him, HOWEVER, when I saw online that he had written a son for JESUS (when he primarily wrote secular songs) I really started loving him a lot!
I will show the lyrics to his song that he wrote one time for his best friend, Jesus. Wait, I gotta go find it…
Here they Are, the song BEST FRIEND, by DIDDY.
**
[puffy] (mario)
I?ve seen a lot of things in my life
Alot of ups and downs
Made alot of mistakes
No matter what, you?ve always been by my side
You?ve always been my best friend
You?re the love of my life (oh)
You?re everything to me (oh)
You never left my side (you?re my best friend)
I love you so much (yes, you are)
You?re my best friend
[puffy]
Since the beginning of time
All you did was bless men
Too young to understand but now you my best friend
How could they doubt you, never think about you
Don?t they know nothing?s possible without you
Faith without fear that?s how they raised me
Words of man kill but never phase me
Grateful for wisdom that you gave me
But still I?m like, dear God I wonder, could you save me?
Too much sinning, gotta be more than plush living
Gotta be more than grabbing nines to buck tin in
Gotta be more than just to lust women
Gotta be more than platinum rolexes, 600?s and crushed linen
Praise your name, I know some of them hate their due
Judgment day, don?t they know they can?t escape your crew
I?m just trying to live right and pray you take me through
And with this song I dedicate to you, my lord
1 – [mario winans]
Lord, you mean the world to me
Before I was born you chose me
You always hear me when I?m calling
Even catch me when I?m falling
You?re the closest one to me
I surrender all to thee
I want the whole wide world to see
That we?ve always been and we?ll always be
Best friends
[puffy]
Sometimes I reminisce and wonder how I made it this far
Because of you, I?m me, so you the real star
Your hindsight, the time?s right to get my mind tight
Then give it to you and let it shine bright
My best friend, only know how to teach the truth
Plant the seeds of life and let them eat the fruit
Can?t you see that he spread love for you
Shed blood for you, cry for and die for you
Willies with mac millies know how you get down
We know the drama you bring whenever you hit town
Just remember when you pray, God is love
Gracious, merciful, forgive even the hardest thugs
Life as we know it, it all begins with him
Life as we know it, it all ends with him
If I was you I would never try to pretend with him
He might spaz and blow it, I?m best friends with him
Repeat 1
[puffy]
Been two and a half years since my man big passed
Been two and a half years since my world crashed
I needed help, God gave me the power
Gave me the strength to go face to face with my darkest hour
Looked me in the eyes and ask what you doing unhappy?
Don?t you know why I?m here? and started shooting at me
Back to the wall, is my faith gonna play out
Never wavered once, gave me no way out
Your time to die, don?t even stress the date
You?re coming with me, your soul I?m next to take
I told him I?m too much blessed with faith
And living for christ and then he said manifest the great
All of a sudden, what I?m remembering
Ground started to shake, everything trembling
The power of the truth was shooting through my timberlands
Here was my lord jesus christ, my best friend again, come on
Repeat 1 while:
[puffy]
You mean everything to me
You?ve been with me from day one
Even when I thought nobody was there
You were there
You?re my best friend
I love you like no other
There is no feeling like this in the world
If you can relate to what I?m feeling
Put your hands in the air for me
Let me see you
Naw, matter of fact clap your hands for me
Clap your hands, come on
Thank you jesus
You always hear me when I?m calling
Always catch me when I fall, yeah
I surrender all to thee
I want the whole world to see
That you?ve always been, you?ll always be
My best friend
I love you jesus
Thank you, forgive me for my trespasses
As I forgive those who trespass against me
Thank you
********
Well, then ever since then, I have been in love with Diddy!
Only over the past couple of years though, has my love for him grown stronger, especially now because I feel my husband is rejecting me, abandoned me, and it’s like I needed Diddy as a friend to help me cope with my lonliness, rejection, unrequited love, etc.? ALSO to help spread Christ’s business on earth!
So, I have SO much to tell you about YOU, ME and DIDDY over the future…I know!
Someday, I think that would be cool if Diddy could be like a spokesperson for Turkey Hill? Ha ha! He is already a spokesma for Ciroc Vodka and since Jesus turned water into wine, I think Jesus could be leading Diddy somewhere with this Vodka of his, I have no idea just where, but, I think Jesus could be using Circo Vodka for his Glory?
Oh, just have so much to write about on this subject, but, I’d better stop for now…wish I could remember all that I had purchased from my latest visit to Turkey Hill convenience store though?
I feel though now, that I have to “try to grow up” some and stop hanging out at the Turkey Hill convenience store so much and stop going there no matter how I’m dressed, I think I wore “boxers” one night, in middle of night there, just ran there quick, not caring what I had on my body, in the dead of winter, ha ha, but, I’d better STOP doing that!
I should try to go only once a day too and try to do some other things with my time, who knows?
I want to tell Diddy all about Turkey Hill and Turkey Hill.com at his blogs…I told him that if he ever gets the chance to visit a Turkey Hill convenience store, that I hope he has a BLAST in there, shopping…also, this new prize you’re giving away, the free ice cream for a year and then to a friend too…I would really like to win that! One of the reasons why is so I could give one to a friend…and after thinking about who I’d choose to give it to, I chose DIDDY! Even though he lives in NYC I think and I don’t know if you deliver that far. That man has a lotta children! He could really use that ice cream to keep his brood well fed with GOOD brand ice cream!
Also, I could sort of “show off” to my hubby, that I won the ice cream, brag that I don’t have ta pay for our ice cream
Oh well, I’d better end this now. I will try my VERY BEST to always read your blogs EVERYDAY and respond EVERYDAY. You guys mean so much to me, and I know that Christ is using you’s for his GLORY! The BEST is YET to come!
God bless!

Thanks it’s been a great twelve days of Ice Cream.
Christmas has always been a rough time for me. Financially, I am in the major negative as a new semester tuition is due, and I have to pay doubel rent (my college apartment and the apartment where I will be working UNPAID at my clinical affiliation). Not to mention the many Christmas gifts I have to buy, and the money it takes to travel (gas and plane tickets), and of course the new snow tires, and because I have a week off from school and work the time when I have my dentist and various other doctors appointment. Then you have the emotionally trying time of visiting with relatives who are nearing the end of their lives here on earth, and I am faced with the many health problems of my parents and grand parent. Plus, I am faced and exposed with the many less fortunate people than myself out on the street in the cold, or at church that I am normally cheltered from while living on campus. It stressful with finals and all the final deadlines, and psychologically thinking of all the ways I want to change for the new year.
Now despite all these trials and tribulattions, this Turkey Hill blog and the 12 days of Christmas really helped me get in the Christmas spirit. I was so excited to get on everyday and read something new about a topic I really have an interest in, and one that I am obsessed with….ice cream! Not to mention, with the gifts being given out everyday (and my strong desire to win the years supply of ice cream) I have decided I too can give something back to the community everyday as well. I was inspired to work at a soup kitchen, pick needy children to shop for off a Christmas tree at Walmart, shovel elderly neighbor’s driveways and sidewalks, drop an entire pay check into the Salvation Army pot, clean-up at animal shelters, participate in fundraisers for Breat Cancer research, and farious other good deads. And what was really great was that I really enjoyed what I was doing. And because Turkey Hill was keeping up their promise for a daily give-away I was motivated to keep my end of the bargain. And I think helping others out made me feel good about myself, and minimized all the problems and troubles I thought I had. I was able to put my hard tribulations in perspective and see how priveledged I am, and how truely fortunate I am. I don’t think I would have been able to totally switch my mindset about this holiday if it wasn’t for Turkey Hill. And this month so far, along with the ice cream month, I finished each day off with a nice bowl of ice cream before going to bed. It was my way of rewarding myself for making it through another day, and easing myself of worry. A little comfort to forget cares and escape in endulgence. Something that is good for me and well within my budget. It seemsed to sooth everything and put a smile on my face and remind me that there are so many simple pleasures to be enjoyed in this world. So I want to thank Turkey Hill for being a part of the rejuvination of m Christmas spirit, and hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday as much as I did. And as a reminder and recommendation…ice cream really can take the edge off a stressful situation or can lighten the mood and comfort you.
I am a mother of six. Ice cream is the one treat that I always served my children and Turkey Hill was the brand. I wish those bowls were around when my children were little. Those are the coolest bowls. Happy Holidays and keep coming up with those great ice cream flavors.
Those bowls are really neat and the truck is cute it would probably go with the train set up my husband is going to set up and he can actually eat a bowl of ice cream (chocolate chip mint) in those bowls and play with his trains. Also he can put his other junk food in the other bowls he could have them lined up. Good thing the freezer is down the basement he could just roll it over next to him then he would have all the Turkey Hill Ice Cream right there, you would have to come up with a new name for the train buff like choo choo peach or woo woo berry.
Since I’m a party starter myself, today’s party starter prize is made just for me! I’m off to go toppings shopping while I wait!
I absolutely love reading the comments from other readers. Some are funny, some are informative, but all are great ice cream loving fun!
With those great ice cream bowls I’d be starting off the New Year knowing my grandchildren will be visiting often for their favorite treat at my house- Turkey Hill ice cream!!
Both prizes look awesome, thanks to Turkey Hill for allowing us a chance at these. I know the kids would love both.

The ice cream truck and bowl set are two great items. Would love to win either one. Thanks for keeping us up to date with all the Turkey Hill info.
I cannot believe that we have finished celebrating Christmas, we went through two cartons of turkey hill, one of vanilla for our pies and one of duetto, just for fun. now as we get ready for the new year to turn on, we will probably finish another carton. our resolution, eat more turkey hill and happy new year to all
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all the Turkey Hill employees. Turkey Hill icecream is my favorite and I enjoy it all the time. I introduced my 16 month old great-granddaughter to it and she decided to love it just as much as her nana. (Her name for me)Every evening when she finishes her dinner, I give her some and she loves it. She eats her dinner just to get it. My favorite flavor is the Banana Split and her favorite is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
Don’t ever change it unless you can guarentee that it will really be better. But I do not know how you claim that when you already have the best.
I would love to win.
Love those ceramic bowls!!
Wow the bowls would go well with my Turkey Hill ice cream, Bright, cheerful and you just feel good seeing the bowls full of Turkey Hill!!!! Of course the full bowls are not that way for long.
