Due to the expanding FDA investigation into the PCA peanut situation, Turkey Hill has decided to add one flavor to our previously voluntarily recalled Turkey Hill Ice Cream flavors. Based on some new investigations of the Peanut Corporation of America’s Texas processing plant, we’ve also decided to recall our 1.5 quart Dynamic Duos Movie Night flavor.
Although tests have indicated that this flavor (and the others) are safe, we’re enacting this recall as a safety precaution. If you have Movie Night, please dispose of it immediately or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Movie Night is a new product and we have made very little of it. Much of it never left our company’s freezers. But don’t worry if you didn’t get to try it. We’ll be making some more as soon as we get new ingredients with peanuts from another company.

Wow this ice cream sounds amazing and I am sorry I won’t get a chance to try it. I hope you’ll bring it to the stores out west soon!
We finish our single container too. My nieces and nephew enjoyed it. I’m not so sure. The popcorn tasted like well butter on a stick with almost caramel popcorn flavor. I prefer caramel explosion. But thanks for the heads up.

This is such an unfortunate situation. I enjoy my peanut butter and roasted peanuts. All the recalls on certain peanut-containing products is very costly. Turkey Hill among others is to be commended for your concern about consumer safety.
I really appreciate your concern for your customers by voluntarily taking this off the market. I love all the peanut butter flavors and will miss them but thank goodness, Turkey Hill has a lot of other delicious flavors to console me until we know it is safe to go back to the peanut butter flavors again.

I brought and ate the whole container and nothing happen.(Movie Time Duo) It was soooo good. Now I have to waite for the new batch. I do thank you for the information a bout this ice cream. But it came too late for me. You did say it was safe to eat, but you pull it off the shelves for our safety. This why I only buy your ice cream.

I love Turkey Hill ice cream. My hubby enjoys it even more. He’s not in the best of health and he eats lots of your ice cream. I’m not sure exactly what he thinks it does for him but, I can’t keep it in our freezer. He goes through 5 and sometimes 6 1/2 gallons a week. I’ve tried a lot of brands but we always come back to yours. Keep up the good work. Whatever the reason my hubby loves it and if he’s happy…..everyone’s happy.

Well then I wouldn’t have to bother you gramps!” he answered as he smiled and ran out the door.
I stood there in wonderment as I scratched my head and thought that my grandson just may be grandest of all the grandies.And yes,I’ll be going to the store now for you know what. And it won’t be for something that comes from a turkey… or does it? Maybe he knows something that I don’t!
