WIN A FREE TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM CAKE!

Everyone loves games, right? Especially when you can win free ice cream (or, in this case, a free ice cream cake). To help spread the word about Turkey Hill’s new ice cream cakes, we’ve created a new game on our website involving an ice cream cake (of course) and 75 candles.

The object is simple: Blow out all 75 candles before they melt. But even if you don’t extinguish the flames in time, after each game you can enter to win a free 8-inch Turkey Hill ice cream cake. We’ll give away one cake every week to one person chosen at random, so feel free to play as often as you’d like.

Also, our ice cream cakes are available in several new locations, including Giant Food Stores, Waldbaums, A&P, Superfresh, and Pathmark, with Acme stores soon to be added. We’ll also be adding an ice cream cake locator to our store locator soon!

  9. JudyL says:

I am a technophobe, and could not figure out how to “blow” the candles out. However, I think your light moose tracks is the best ice cream ever! Of course, I looked for your box of chocolate flavor, and my favorite stores said they never saw it. What a shame!

  10. Kathy P says:

love reading the ice cream blog and checking out the newest tournament match-ups! somehow my favs always end up losing though :-(

  11. Jacqueline Seewald says:

Very cool! You’ve named several of the supermarket chains to which I have access. I’ll be looking for the ice cream cakes. They are great for the children’s birthdays. Mine feel it’s not really their birthdays unless we serve ice cream cake.

  12. Frank says:

I want one of these cakes for my birthday, and I’ll eat it too.

  13. Donna says:

I am working on getting them all blown out. Just imagine when I have that many candles on my birthday cake. Just hope God grants me good health.

  14. susan says:

I really cant get the hang of it, no matter how many times I try, the most I get is nine, O WELL! Hope I see 75 for real on my cake at that time. God Bless

  15. Robbin L. Netz says:

WHEW! This is way harder then it looks! Good challenge.

did not get one candle-what am I doing wrong?

  17. Patti Sherman says:

I played and only blew out 1, however it tells me my score is 0-9???? Love your ice cream, ever one of them!!!

  18. alicelynne says:

Can’t wait to try your ice cream cakes!!!

  19. Diane says:

Fun game – wish it was real and I was blowing candles out on a cake now! Nothing like birthday cake for breakfast!

  20. Deb says:

Fun game — but I’m too slow to get all 75. Most I got was 43. But I bet a game whiz could do it (like a teenager, which I’m not). Anyway, the chance to win a Turkey Hill ice cream cake was worth it. Thanks!

  21. Christine says:

WOW! I got all 75! This was fun and a great way to procrastinate!

  22. Caroline says:

It looks like no turkey for me. Our operating system is too old to load the lastest flash. I will just have to buy it for my hubby’s birthday. You know a turkey for a turkey who won’t break down and get a new Imac.

  23. Dot Hess says:

It (the game) didn’t work for me. I’m going to check out the Ice Cream cakes though.

  24. Ruth says:

Didn’t do too good on the game, but I sure hope I can win a cake, yummy!

  25. Carrielee Fidler says:

I must be slower than I thought I was!

  26. Carol Triano says:

I know now that my eye and hand coordination is better at eating ice cream than playing games.!!!

  27. christie says:

Getting a bowl of Turkey Hill is easier and much more satisfying. (Darn game)

  28. Marion says:

I hated the game the first time. This time actually gave me directions. I wondered why I was so pathetic the first time. Now I feel much better, but having a bowl of ice cream would be even more comforting!

  29. Sarah says:

This game is soooo hard! I never got more than 12 candles. Time for some Turkey Hill!

  30. Bert says:

    Need more instructions.

  31. Sharon says:

Good luck, everyone. It looks like something my kids would enjoy.

  32. Vonnie in VA says:

This is a really fun game – most I got was 49, but I’m going to keep trying to get all 75! I can’t wait to try the TH ice cream cakes – just found out they are being sold in my city!

  33. Maryann Striff says:

I love Games, good luck to everyone. Even if you don’t win you still have fun trying!!

  34. Judi says:

Too bad! Not my kind of game. I’m better at things like trivia. Maybe next time. Or making little words out of big words. I can do that kind of stuff!
Now I deserve a little treat.

  35. Bess says:

No such luck, game would not open, much rather have coupons for Turkey Hill Ice Cream.

  36. sandy c says:

I really tried but I could not get the game to play, but I don’t have place near my to get an ice cream cake anyway. i really would one for my mom’s 83rd birthday in June but not happening, was a good idea though.

  37. Evelyn Ross says:

The cake game didn’t work for me, and I did try several times. I don’t think that our stores have them yet. We are so happy to get the calendar every year, but we use the coupons too quickly.

  38. Terry Warren says:

Tried the game several times – toooo frustrating!!! Where are the coupons and calendars that everyone talks about receiving? Sure would help in these poor economical times. Nothing better to help get over the blues than ice cream!!

  39. Debbie L says:

I couldn’t get the game to work at all. It reminds me of my 45th birthday and my Mother’s 75th birthday party last year. She blew out more of the candles than I did! Who gets the free ice cream cake???

Hey fellow candle blowers- click the mouse over the flames before they burn out. you can take a second breath if there is still time. when you click you see a target and place that over the flame and it will go out. but the candles burn fast. remember to take a breath and start clicking on the candles. All that said, the best i got was 29! candles- but my average is 18. But all said- BRING ON THE ICE CREAM

  55. Meghan Scannell says:

Not only is this game addicting and satisfyingly fun, but it also is a self-esteem booster and has changed my views on the candle tradition. Growing up, at my birthday parties I would never get a chance to blow out the candles on my cake because my eager cousins or siblings would push to the front or blow them out before the end of the song just as I was taking a big breath. Then, after my spell of pneumonia, I now can not blow out all the candles, so at school I get made fun of. But this game has returned all the fun to the time old tradition. I can now blow with the rest of everyone. And each time (even if I don’t get them all out), I reward myself with a big bowl of ice cream. Even better than the delayed gratification of winning the cake and having to wait for it to arrive in the mail. Oh Turkey Hill, you will never cease to provide me with entertainment and treats!

  56. Jenny Gillam says:

I love Turkey Hill ice cream (especially the Fried Ice Cream flavor and the Pumpkin flavor that I can’t find anymore. :(

I really, really, really wish they bring a peanut butter cup ice cream to our Shoprite of Succasunna, NJ! My boys love peanut butter, and if there was peanut butter cup (especially a lite version with less fats) we would all buy it!

  59. ruth haft says:

I also tried and tried and tried but couldn’t get the candles to go out..
