I have been an ice creamaholic since I was a small child. The cone maker is very cool and it would be the perfect pairing with either the Southern Lemon Pie or Mocha ice cream that I love. I am such a nut when it comes to ice cream, that my neighbor allows me to store extra cartons of ice cream in her large basement freezer when I have run out of space in mine!!!!

In October at my wedding we are replacing the traditional wedding cake with ice cream! Our caterers are making it homemade and I couldn’t be more excited! But in the spirit of our eco-friendly event I have been hunting all over the place for recycled or biodegradable ice cream cups.. but what would be more earth friendly than making our own cones[bowls that you eat + love] then there would be no waste!! Wonderful idea!

I can’t think of a better way for my son to work on his Scout cooking requirements than for him to be able to whip up some freshly made cones for his Scoutmaster (and also his Dad of course, topped with the Turkey Hill ice cream!! It may not pack well for a hike, but it would be a great refreshment afterwards

With summer quickly approaching, wouldn’t this be a great item to own! We have alot of outdoor picinics and this would be perfect finish to a day of eating! We have lots of kids and I’m sure they would line up. Ice cream cones at the stands are well over $4.00 and add a sugar cone…..Oh my!! We stopped for ice cream last week and the ice cream parlor was completely out of waffle cones. They had waffle bowls but ran out half-way into our order for 6. Two of us had to share the same bowl. How disappointing. Making our own cones would sure keep that from happening again!

I feed the kids at church every Sunday and in the summer they get ice cream so this would be a fabulous addition to their meal. In addition we have a game and movie night every Friday evening just for the kids to help keep them off the streets and being able to make fresh waffle cones would be great.

I do not go to icecream parlors very often as they do not sell turkey hill ice cream and it is about the only type I eat. Once in a great while I will get dairy queen soft serve but mostly I buy the turkey hill in the store and it is much better and I can eat as much as I want then.

Years ago I worked at an icecream store. Everyone told me I would be so sick of icecream. Not so. I had a banana split Saturday night – 2 on Sunday – and another on Monday night. Turkey Hill icecream of course! I wouldn’t have to dirty a bowl if I won this super prize. BTW – now that light moose tracks has won – I can’t seem to catch it in stock at my local supermarket. Maybe it was better before everyone knew how good it was!

My grandkids would love it. They absolutely love the sugar cones.I would have to lock the dog up in the other room though. He loves icecream as well and knows when the kids are making themselves a cone.

Waffle cones, waffle bowls? All I know is that without Turkey Hill in them, they never seem to be worth eating. Of course, with a waffle cone my favorite part, since I was a child, is to bite off the tip and suck out the remaining ice cream my mouth can’t get to from above and then eat the cone. OK, now you’ve made me have to go get one right now!

Well my grandson and I were just looking over my emails when we came upon this waffle cone maker. He asked me what that was and I told him and he said can we get that for Mommy for Mother’s Day because she is always making something special for us and now we can give her something special, can we? I told him we’ll see. He just thinks it is the greatest thing to make their own cones. Out the mouths of babes I guess.

That would be SO awesome to win! My roommates have an ice cream maker, so to have the waffle-cone maker would be the perfect match! I LOVE waffle cones — I never mind shelling out an extra few cents to get one when the option is available.

And for as much as I love TH special edition Baked Apple Dumpling (just a few months away!), do you know I’ve never had it in a waffle cone??? That’s it! This year’s the year!!! XD

Who needs to put ice cream ON a waffle and have to eat with a fork and knife, when you can put ice cream IN a waffle, homemade by me, nonetheless!! How portable, containable, manageable, and flavorable would that be? You could even experiment with different flavor waffle cones to go along with all the delicious flavors Turkey Hill makes. I believe that is how the ice cream cone began. At the St. Louis World’s Fair in 1904 ice cream vendors put ice cream in another vendor’s wrapped up waffle. It was a hit and the ice cream cone evolved. How technology has advanced! Now we have a special ice cream cone maker. Home made cones and Turkey Hill ice cream would make anyone’s day.
