Meet Gracee the pig on her 10 week birthday. She clearly loves her ice cream. That’s evident by the huge smile on her face. That’s right, a smiling pig! This has to be the cutest picture we’ve ever featured here on the Ice Cream Journal. The saying “Happier than a pig in slop” should be changed to “Happier than a pig in vanilla ice cream.”
By the way, the answer to the “Which news story is false” question posed in our previous entry is #5. Sadly, there’s no such thing as ice cream-making nuns. At least not yet.

Love the picture of Gracee. I have a Westie that loves TH Van. ice cream, everytime she eats it(which is 4 times a week)I have to wash her face because her whiskers get all clumpy LOL. I know how much I love TH and so do the animals. Linda

I have a 16 year old potbellied pig, named Harley who LOVES Turkey Hill ice cream! Anytime there’s ice cream being served here at home, he’s right there, waiting for his!
Grace is adorable and it sure looks like she is enjoying that ice cream. By the way, how do you house train a pig??? LOL

My wife once worked with a woman who had a pig instead of a dog. It was fully trained(easier to train than a puppy) and was as smart as a dog. It also loved ice cream and by the smile on Gracee, she is certainly in heaven when she gets her TurkeyHill Ice Cream. We give our dog Frosty Paws IC for dogs but it becomes crazy when we have our bowl of TH IC.

The picture is so cute. But make sure he don’t eat too much of turkey hill ice cream, I don’t wanted him to get sick. I love turkey hill ice cream too, but giving it to aminals you have to be carful not to give them too.

Hi Sue! Good question. We held a photo contest to fill last year’s calendar. We’ll let you know if we plan a photo contest for next year’s calendar because I’m sure as a proud grandma you’ve got plenty of photos!

Gracie looks very cute with ice cream all over her face but she should have had her mouth wiped if you were taking her picture.
gracee is obviously an adorable young potbelly pig…but are you aware that she will get over 250-300lbs if not bigger and will eventually grow huge tusks like a boar? yes these pigs are adorable when they are younger, and yes, this s the most adorable picture i’ve ever seen. but eventually gracee will need to be put with other friends of her breed, on a farm, or other land…she won’t be a cute little pet forever. sorry to be the joy kill.
