Regular readers know that National Ice Cream Month (July) is an exciting time here on the Ice Cream Journal and this year will be no exception. Here’s what we have planned for the coming month:

Giving away TWO free containers of Turkey Hill ice cream EVERY DAY to one commenter chosen at random
Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? We hope you’ll join us each day as we celebrate all things ice cream. The trivia/prize Mondays are going to be a blast (feel free to use the Internet to find the answers, but it won’t always be easy). We’re also looking forward to eating lots of ice cream.

I came to America from The Netherlands in 1977 and got married. Our favored flavor in icecream was rum raisin, then for years it disapeared in the affordable icecreams in the supermarket. My husbands favorite flavor became then Turkey Hill vanila and did I surprise him 6 weeks ago. I visited a supermarket where I do not buy normally my icecream and saw Turkey Hill Rum Raisin. My husband smiled when he saw the container. Now this is our favorite flavor again. Thanks!
I’m with Delia. We eat ice cream or frozen yogurt everyday. So I guess we’ll just continue the celebration.

I think every month should be National Ice Cream Month! We love Turkey Hill ice cream, first had it when we went to Lancaster County on vacation. Sounds like July is going to be a great month.

Can’t wait for July….ummmmm good! My husband now prefers Turkey Hill over another “all natural” brand. That’s saying something for him to comment! My daughter is into Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup flavor and mine is still vanilla. We simply love it!!!!!!
Mid-summer is an excellent time to enjoy and give thanks for ice cream. You certainly are making it exciting by offering so much during July. I will be waiting for the many offerings while I sit back and enjoy my Turkey Hill ice cream.
When I say the word Ice Cream my husband and grandchildrens eyes light up like the fireworks show. Everyone has a favorite, but never turn down whatever I have. Vanilla Bean and anything with almonds is still my favorite.

The local Pathmark had a great sale this week but diddn’t have the new Lemon Pie or Peaches & Cream. Of course, I bought other flavors, but hope I can get those at the same great price. of $1.88!!

Every month is ice cream month in my home. When my grown children visit they open the freezer and laugh–oh, Nana always has lots of ice cream in many flavors. I still haven’t tried them all but we do like some of the newer ones including Phillies Graham Slam.

While up in Vt., they had a “Garlic Festival”, and “Garlic flavored ice cream”, we didn’t take a chance on this one. I’ll stick with the usual flavors!

Turkey Hill Ice Cream is clearly the best – I was at my local supermarket the other day and read the ingredient on the Coffee Ice Cream and it was heavenly – plain English, all natural, with only 5 ingredients – Awesome Taste and Quality. Thank-You !! Make More !!

Your Columbian Coffee is the best, the greatest. However, not many markets carry this flavor and if you can’t drink coffee in the evening, suggest you eat this in the afternoon.
Turkey Hill Ice Cream is far superior than any other. As a result, every month is ice cream month in this house…. all seasons, all months, all days. Love the feature flavors too!

My daddy made us home made ice cream when I was a child. We’d cut up bananas and pour in milk, put in some vanilla flavoring ans sugar and I would sit on the churner while daddy churned, constantly adding rock salt. It was the best ice cream in the world.
I just picked up the Lemon Pie ice cream last night for a Monday evening dessert. Quite awesome! Thanks for a great flavor.

My absolute favorite ice cream from Turkey Hill is Cookie Dough! Since the cange of the taste a while ago, the molasses has made it so tempting that it hardly lasts in my freezer 2 days! It is by far the best!
New Jersey loves Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Being a Shop-Rite supermarket manager, I always make sure that the Turkey Hill is packed out 1oo% in my frozen food aisle!!!
Wow some of those flavors are outrageous. You would not find me spending that much for icecream, BUT if I decided to try it once I definitely would get brave and try out some unique, outrageous flavor combo.

Turkey Hill Ice Cream ~ It really warms my heart!
My friend and I aren’t 10 year old children…but we sure love to share a half-gallon of the new chocolate with cherries flavor low-fat yogurt at our local Stop and Shop. Boy, do we get stares from the staff and jealous glances from actual 10 year olds who pass by our table in the store.

But our favorite is your Grand Slam, so sinfully delicious, but impossible to get in northern new jersey, always purchase when we go to Phillies games and stop at Giant to pick some up to take home. I love Turkey Hill ice cream. I have to remember to eat like a lady when I have it though. Not out of the carton– and only a small scoop in a bowl and use a regular sized spoon. But when everyone is asleep, sometimes I don’t….very bad.

Our family loves Turkey Hill frozen yogurt & low fat ice cream. Love the choc. pretzel, choc. chip cookie dough, mint cookies & cream. Those are our favorites. Keep up the great work!
Sometimes I wish I had a bigger freezer because my husband loves Turkey Hill (TH)Strawberry Ice Cream, my daughter loves (TH)Cookie Dough Ice Cream,my son loves (TH)any flavor that includes Chocolate Ice Cream, and I think that nobody has a better Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream than Turkey Hill! The good thing is that summer is here and we’ll be eating alot of Turkey Hill Ice Cream and I won’t have to worry about storing too many flavors in the freezer. This is the only ice cream my husband will eat we always have the strawberry on hand every night after diner he has a bowl of ice cream and a cup of coffee I’m not sure what he would do if we had no Turkey hill in the house.

My family Loves ice cream of anykind my husband loves it he could eat it every day.If anyone buys it they have 2 days and if its still there he eats it he calls it the two day rule.My granddaughter calls him popscycle.We all eat and love ice cream.

I absolutely love Turkey Hill icecream. I used to always buy another brand which I won’t name but it starts with an E__, but Turkey Hill is so much more creamier and the flavors are so rich – no comparison. I especially love the sugarfree Cherry Fudge Ripple -yummy! Can not believe it is a low calorie icecream – the best I’ve ever eaten. Thanks, Turkey Hill!
We have a special nightly tradition at our house. After the dinner is cleared and the dishes washed, we relax at the T.V. and enjoy a fabulous flavor of ice cream by Turkey Hill. Frankly, my husband are addicted to the great flavors Turkey Hill produces. It’s become an enjoyable habit and the evening is not complete without a bowl of creamy, flavorful Turkey Hill! Turkey Hill is hands-down the best ice cream out there. My personal favorite is chocolate marshmallow. My family buys two containers a week and it doesn’t even last. My toddler is an ice cream fanatic! Her grandpa got her hooked on cones 2 years ago. We’ll be visiting them this weekend for the holiday and look forward to some ice cream goodness. We like to add flavors to vanilla. =)

I’m an ice cream fanatic and have ice cream everyday winter and summer. I believe the Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup is the very best and I always try to buy it, Sometimes my favorite store is out so I have to buy Rocky Road which is still excellent but not my all time favorite.

I moved to South Carolina from South Jersey in the early 90′s. Got to tell you there was no Turkey Hill. Bi-Lo stores here just stated to carry some of it!! Only I would like some more varieties. Love this ice-cream!

I’ll be celebrating my Birthday and the fourth of July as well as National Ice Cream Month so there will be plenty of Turkey Hill’s amazing Chocolate Nutty Moose Tracks Ice Cream in my house (along with some of the other fabulous flavors).

I have decided to make sure I do two things at least twice a month-have a Turkey Hill ice cream party with some good friends-I provide ice cream and they each bring a topping. It is a great “Welcome to the neighborhood” social as well.
I can’t think of a nicer idea than to bring ice cream for sharing to older people, especially those in senior residences or facilities. Bring paper products, plastic spoons and paper napkins and wait for all the smiles. That is an opening to encourage reminiscences about ice cream stories when these elders were younger…

A native of PA, when I go home, the local Bi-Lo market has a lot of your frozen proucts. Unfortunately, living in the DC area I can’t seen to find any Turkey Hill frozen yogurt in this area. Help!
