Have you ever had a craving for Cotton Candy Habanero ice cream with cheddar cheese bits? How ‘bout Saffron Stout ice cream with a caramel swirl? Maybe not, but with the e-Creamery, you can make those flavors and many other custom concoctions and have them sent directly to your home!
We should tell you right from the get go that custom made ice cream isn’t cheap. A half gallon (shipped in four pint-sized containers) costs $49.99 plus $30 shipping and handling. At that price, you’re probably better off with some Turkey Hill at the grocery store, but e-Creamery does let you name your flavor and choose from three different styles of packaging.
The e-Creamery process allows you to choose your base ice cream base (8%, 12% or 14%) before moving on to your choice of two different flavors. Options include traditional varieties like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Not-so-traditional flavors like lemon, blueberry and honey. And unusual flavors like the aforementioned habanero, stout, chocolate merlot (infused with wine), lavender and ginger.
Then the fun begins. Next, you select your mix-ins (60 to choose from). You can go with almonds, chocolate-covered raisins or granola, but for $79.99, you might as well get a little crazy, right? In that case, try the candied ginger, cheddar cheese pieces, hickory smoked bacon, parmesan cheese or dill weed (yes, dill weed). We’re not sure if some of those would taste good in ice cream, but it’s worth a shot!

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
If I hit the Mega-Lotto, I’ll try some, otherwise———–no way
Sounds like fun to me!!
I’m Definately Gonna Try This One!
I’m In!
I’ll leave this stuff for the rich and stick with my delicious Turkey Hill flavors. Bought Banana Split low fat yesterday and plan on enjoying it today.
Interesting!!! Who buys this stuff??? I’ll stick to Turkey Hill.
Hi Turkey Hill, You have the best and you do have different kind of ice cream….so I am stay with turkey hill ice cream. You wanted differnt kind of ice cream…buy turkey hill ice cream and add in your own stuff. Turkey hill has the base you add the rest of the ingrediet to it. I make my own wine/rum ice cream. I buy turkey hill vanilla ice cream and add my own sweet wine to the vanilla.
I’ll stick with Turkey Hill
How much Turkey Hill could I get for $80?
I will stay with you guys, ’cause you ROCK!!!!
they don’t even sound good. turkey hill rocks.
Sure- it’s a steep price- but what a cool gift for an expectant mother! Some soon-to-be dads could score a lot of points….as long as they are already in the upper income level anyway.
Pay so much to gag? For far less you can do a lot better with Turkey Hill.
Turkey Hill….we have an ice cream sundae night at our house and my kids LOVE your ice cream!
A little too pricey for me.
I scream for ice cream,. Turkey Hill Ice cream!
Turkeky Hill Ice Cream is the “All Ameican Desert”. It makes a hot summer day enjoyable.
Turkey Hill is the best you can buy! YUM!!!
Lemon-Ginger sounds awfully good but not for that price!
With Turkey Hill Extreme Cookies and Cream, who needs anything else?
I wouldn’t pay that much for ice cream regardless of what’s in it. I don’t have to though thanks to Turkey Hill.
Don’t ever stop making the “Worlds Most Amazing” ice cream!
We do our own mix-ins at home for much less. Turkey Hill has so many flavors, we can add whatever we want to whatever flavor we want.
I would try any flavor once. I suppose it depends on your food orientation. For me Ice Cream is an experience and Turkey Hill is a Zen Meditation Center. That being said I would love to see Vanilla with soy chips, topped with a rich chocolate shell. any takers?
Think of all the regular flavors you could buy for seventy some dollars…what a party! I think I’ll stick to regular TH.
I guess I’m really old fashioned but I’ll stick to peaches, strawberries and cherries.
I guess I am old fashioned because I enjoy pieces strawberries, cherries and peaches in my ice cream more than the new products.
I love Moose Tracks and even better that it’s in a “light” version.te
An great outlet for creative minds that need a chilling treat. Some of the combinations sound strange; but why am I salivating?
I like the old , simple flavors.I try some new ones, but Ilove the old ones
What is stout? How long has this “deviation from the normal” company been in business? How much ice cream do they sell in a year? Since $79.99 buys a lot of Turkey Hill, why would I deviate from perfection for a lot less quantity?
after checking out the link you gave us for these special flavors, I will pass and keep buying my favorite turkey hill flavors. ice cream is always something that can be topped, no need to go crazy.
They can keep their designer ice creams. I’m completely satisfied with the delicious variety of Turkey Hill.
A really cool idea! No pun intended
. At this price it would make a heck of a gift for someone or a real treat for yourself. To make all sorts of concoctions though, I usually stick to buying plain old vanilla and dress it up with whatever topping I crave when I just gotta have some ice cream.
some of the flavors dont look like something i would be interested in i think i will stick to my family’s and mine all time favorite turkey hill ice cream, i guess if i had extra money i might try them but i dont so i pass!!
If you have $79.99 why not go crazy. I’m going to stick with Turkey Hill and flavors I enjoy.
For that price,I’ll buy a cow and make my own ice cream, from scratch.
I am adventurous but eating designer ice cream has set my limit. It doesn’t even sound appetizing. Ice cream is a dessert but this e-Creamery has made it into almost a meal. I’ll take my money and spend it on Turkey Hill ice cream. I know and love the taste.
Mmm Chocolate Merlot and Ginger… Now I’m curious. But I think I’d make my ice cream with coffee ice cream first, and throw in all the goodies. Mmmhm.
Turkey Hill’s many flavors have always been sufficient in fulfilling my tastes or cravings! No need for the strange stuff…!
If you want to make your own ice cream that badly just go to ColdStone. You don’t have to wait for it to be delivered and you won’t pay astronomical prices. Personally I’ll take a carton of Turkey Hill over that e-junk anyday!
I rather like my gray poupon ice cream. It’s only $25.00 a pint.
I think I will just stick with all the flavors that Turkey Hill has now. The price on gourmet is a too much for me.
Dill weed? Can we blame it on the al, al al al al alcohol?
We love Turkey Hill. I have 6 half gallon ice cream in my freezer…We cant get enough…we would go for on an ice cream run if we ran out.. I have three kidds (boys) and a husband..they think it is the best will not eat anything else…..
Only people with too much money and ones that are trying to show off would buy something like this. I’m proud I eat Turkey Hill!!
I like all of TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM and DRINKS Can’t go wrong if you stick to TURKEY HILL.Thanks for great ice cream Fudge Ripple is the Best.
I think it is a unique gift idea for the person who has everything and about to celebrate a big event. Having many friends who LOVE ice cream turning 60 or 70 this year, what fun it would be to get personalized ice cream to mark the date!
I absolutely love Turkey Hill’s Rocky Road ice cream and unfortunately haven’t been able to find it in local stores in the last year and half or so. What’s up with that????
I also would love to have cash to burn to have my own creations sent to me in the mail, but alas, I’m broke. It’s alright though, as long as you bring my Rock Road ice cream back to me!!
I Love T.Hill Coffee Ice Cream…It’s so smooth and creamy. I would love to learn how to make ice cream at home for my family.
My heart belongs to Turkey Hill–habanero or NOT!
It’s a great idea for someone having some big birthday or event, but for everyday I can be verrrry happy with regular Turkey Hill flavors!!
It appears to me that some people just don’t know how to spend their money. Do you know how much Turkey Hill that you could purchase instead??? Most of those add-ins don’t sound very appealing for ice cream. I think TH has the right idea because they come up with flavors that sound and taste good.
I think it’s a great idea for flavors like these! I saw an ice cream shop that has flavors like honey-lavender,jalapeno,and merlot, and would love to try them!
Turkey Hill is the best. Can’t ‘e-magine’ ordering from e-creamery! With so many choices offered by Turkey Hill and their ever-changing new flavors, what more could one concoct?!!
I think it’s a great idea!I saw some of those flavors on Diners,Drive-Ins and Dives on Food Network, and wanted to try them, especially the Honey-Lavender ice cream!
The adult favorite in our house is Turkey Hill COFFEE!!! I love it so much that I stoke up on it when there’s a sale (we’ve had up to 4 gal in our freezer) and when I’m out, I’ve even whipped real coffee into their softened vanilla to fix my craving! It’s the best!
My husband loves your raspberry (that has no chocolate pcs) the best of all.
I would never spend that much on ice cream, especially when I can get Turkey Hill for a lot less and I am completely satisfied with that. With all the different flavors TH makes you can always try something new or just stick with your favorite flavor.
…At least its a FULL half gallon!!!
Why would anyone spend that much money on weird flavors of ice cream, when they can have the great flavors that Turkey Hill makes. I stick with Turkey Hill. Linda
I could buy a lot more of the ready made flavors of turkey hill ice cream that I like
So cool!! little price. can home ice cream makers do that?
pricey i meant
What a great idea!
I LOVE the party cake ice cream!!ITS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like something special for a real special occasion.
I’d love the honey or another flavor like green tea. Sound like some new ideas for Turkey Hill?
I love ice cream (and it probably is a large part of my budget, as is) but these prices are a bit much.
river0mydreams@aol.com
Can’t wait!!!
What a great idea!
I like my ice cream flavors normal and straight-up!
Wow. What a fun birthday present to a special child.
I’m not so sure about habanero ice cream ewwww and bacon?!?!in ice cream how about french fries
Thank You for keeping me informed!!!!
Wow, that’s a great idea but I wish there were some way to make it more cost effective. Lol, some of those mix-ins sound awful and fascinating at the same time. I’d like to try a kind of Asian blend, honey flavoured ice cream with candied ginger and almonds – a bit like a stir fry but more unique. Could be yummy!
Sounds delic but way too expensive for my taste.
Just a thought: They should come in “keep sake” containers so they can be given as gifts.
Those would make really “cool” shower favors if they were cheaper (a lot cheaper!). We had an ice cream bar at our wedding (a Turkey Hill cart) and these would’ve been neat!
I love turkey hill ice cream , don’t change a thing .
I love it, what a fun and creative idea!
It might be alright for some folks, but I wouldn’t want to pay the price. Everything is expensive enough and we wouldn’t buy ice cream at all at that price.
Why on earth would I pay that kind of money when Turkey Hill makes the best ice cream in the world? I could live on their Chocolate Peanutbutter…..yum!
I would like to try a combination of candied ginger and walnuts.
I really enjoy Turkey Hill products I am very greatful that you could send all of us who want your products by e-mail and let us kmow when there are new products on here.
Thank you
so very much
Lucille White
Some people will go to great lengths for great ice cream…but we know a little secret!!
Ah, I came home from Spain determined to recreate some pink peppercorn ice cream and ended up with a pretty spectacular failure. For this price, I’m betting these folks would get it just right.
Whoa, totally out of my price range, but I hope you can please another Turkey Hill customer.
Not only do I love your ice cream but I also love your ice tes. I wish I could get your Ice cream cakes.
wen i get back from the store each week the first thing my wife says, did you get my half gallon butter pecan ice cream. i always say of course i never forget that.p.s. i love choc. marsh mellow, i get that too.
All I know is before I “start” every diet i have to run to the store to get my fill of Turkey Hill Peanut Butter Cup. OMG !!!!!!!
what a awesome idea! if u have extra money to spend
Way too expensive… Try a Banana Split and you will forget about the cheese and dill-weed ice-cream. There is only one thing left to achieve for Turkey Hill: try to keep the flavour and combine it with max 10 calories (per box). I guess we would finally get into heaven without dying and you would get a Nobel Prize…
This is a cool idea for a gift for the person who has everything! I like it!
Our household LOVES and lives on Moose tracks Light. Yum!
As a chef I have made some interesting flavors over the years but it is always a wonderful treat when someone else makes the flavors I crave and the best is Turkey Hill!
What a great idea! My fiance and I have a custom guitar company, and we’re so inspired by your company, and glad to learn that you supply custom ice cream!
Delighted, peach ice cream. Yum!!!
At least if I spent that much money on custom ice cream, maybe I would only eat a tablespoonfull at a time to make it last longer.
i just tried your peanut butter brownie, man is that GOOD. i love it, please keep it coming, it is out standing
i love every kind of ice cream you have out. jut keep them coming
