NOTE: For this entry, if you’d like to, please put your hometown and state at the end of each comment to let people know where everyone at this party is from!
.
Let the party begin!
This Wednesday night, everyone is invited to visit the Ice Cream Journal with a Turkey Hill Limited Edition flavor and chat with the group via comment about what you liked (or didn’t like) about the flavor. You may even choose to sample multiple flavors…we know we will.
The Limited Edition flavors you may find in your store include Fried Ice Cream (April), Peanut Butter Brownie (May), Southern Lemon Pie (June) or, our newest Limited Edition flavor, Double Dunker. If you can’t find a Limited Edition flavor or prefer a Light Recipe flavor, just grab some of that and join us anyhow!
You can chat about anything you’d like, but here are a few questions to consider when commenting during our party:
1. Did the flavor taste the way you imagined it would?
2. Did you like it? If so, should we make it a permanent flavor in the Turkey Hill line-up?
3. What’s your favorite part of the flavor?
4. What would you change (if anything) about the flavor?
5. What sort of toppings would go well with the flavor?
6. If you could change the name of the flavor, what would you call it?
7. Is there anything in the world better than an ice cream party?
The Turkey Hill Team will be here too, chatting right along with you and answering any questions you may have. See you Wednesday night… and like we said in the subject line, feel free to invite a friend either by forwarding this blog entry to them or inviting them over to your house to join in the fun. The more, the merrier!

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
Sounds like fun….. but no need to run to the store, it’s in the freezer already
Just want to make sure that it’s 8pm EST….
Would hate to miss the opportunity!!
I love Turkey Hill Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt..I wish there were more Frozen Yogurt flavors to choose from. My favorite flavor ice cream is Mint choco chip and I think the Mint Cookie frozen yogurt is just as good.
count me in!
i am still campaigning to get the blueberry and lemon muffin frozen yogurt flavor added permanently. that is the best ice ceam/ yogurt my fiance and i hav ever had!
What ever happened to Death by Chocolate. Can’t find it anywhere.
I was soo addicted to the Party Cake icecream during my pregnancy to the point that my husband was buying it every week…even though my daughter is now 10 months…I still continuously buy it!!…Love…Love…Love it!!
I’m game
I love ice cream and my very best favorite is Turkey Hill. I live for my ice cream and I always have it in the freezer. I’m a breast cancer surivivor and after having 6 months of chemo I suffer with a burning feeling in my mouth and on my lips (I’ve had it for 10yrs now)..And Turkey Hill always come to the rescue. My favorites are strawberry , tin roof sundae and black cherry..Haven’t been able to find Baked Apple Dumpling that sounds sooo yummy.Thank you Turkey Hill for always being there and makeing eating ice cream so much fun.
Party!
Turkey Hill is the best ice cream ever and I can never get enough. My favorites are tin roof sundae and black cherry. I’m a breast cancer survivor and after 6mos of chemo I have had ths burning feeling in my mouth that just won’t go away.. It’s been 10yrs but thanks to Turkey hills great tasteing ice cream I have found away to get relief.. Thanks Turkey Hill for a job well done
I love this ice cream we used to have a Giant Eagle here but no more.
I would like to be able to buy it,though it was very expensive at that store I would buy it when it was on sale & I had coupons. But like I said can’t get it now.
gotta love a party !!!!
Can’t wait
Fried Ice Cream and Peanut Butter Brownie sound delish!
Man,i have been eating Phillies Gramslam all summer it’s the best
I missed Peanut Butter Brownie month and can’t find it anywhere. I may cry…
I love it…. the best price and the best ice cream .
We can’t wait to see all of you tomorrow night at the party! If you have any suggestions for new Turkey Hill flavors (or to bring some back…like Death by Chocolate), let us know with a comment on this entry either now or during the party.
We’ll be compiling all the suggestions and sending them to our flavor development team for consideration!!
woah!!! why is the PARTY only scheduled for a half hour???!?!?!?
I need way more time to savor the flavor!! Since the world is topsy turvy, right now, let’s stretch out the fun and fellowship!!;-)
sounds like fun!
Commenting from Va….I have to say of all flavors I stick with Vanilla and Turkey Hill makes the best. Extremely delicious over my homemade Hot Brownie Pudding! Also must comment I love the kids on the T.V.commercial that Turkey Hill has out, it is so cute!
Can’t be there for the “party”….I guess I’ll just have to make up for it by having an extra bowl of T.H. ice cream for the next week! (not that I need an excuse to eat extra ice cream…but it helps!)
I would like a flavor like “Apple Cobbler” or “Peach Cobbler” in homemade vanilla ice cream.
Turkey Hill creates the variety of ice cream.
Sounds good to me!
My birthday is august 5th and I would like to celebrate my birthday with a bunch of senior citizens who rarely get anything that is as delicious as TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM I just remember Thanksgiving when we had the TURKEY ICE CREAM CAKE (SCRUMPTDELICIOUS) Yum Yum
Sounds great!
Oh I wish that I could make it, however I work 2nd shift
I live in Pittsburgh, but grew up in BEAUTIFUL Lancaster County! I miss Turkey Hill very much! They finally sell Turkey Hill iced tea and ice cream here in Pittsburgh, but the better variety is in Lancaster. And there are no Turkey Hill Mini Markets here, so I cannot get a Turkey Hill slushie here in Pittsburgh. That is sad.
Phillies Gram Slam ice cream is one of the finest flavors that I have ever tasted. Unfortunately, we have fewer Phillies’ fans here in Pittsburgh, so we can’t get Phillies’ ice cream here. We’re stuck with the Pirates. If the Pirates had an ice cream flavor, it would be SKUNK, because unlike my WORLD CHAMPION Phillies, the Pirates STINK!
My daughter-in-law is right. Deborah Leonardis she is very kind to us at Madison Center nursing home here in N.J. She thinks of everyone but herself and I love to Have some DDDDDEEEEELLLLLIIIICCCCIIIIOOOOOUUUUUSSSSS yummy T U R K E Y H I L L ice cream……………………
I can’t make the party. But everyday in our home is an ice cream party. We always have TURKEY HILL in our freezer. I am hooked on the rocky road. It is the best there is none other like it. LOVE IT !!!!!
There is nothing better than an ice cream party for friends and family to get together and have a good time. My family used to gather and take turns making cranking to make homemade ice cream. It was so good when it was hot out. My favorite flavor was strawberry. Yum!
I can’t wait for the party!!!
I love your Cookies and Cream ice cream. It reminds me of many times back in the 70′s when I would be at my boyfriends house. I would have vanilla ice cream in a cup and I would break cookie pieces into it. Then I would eat it with a fork. Now, I just buy Cookies and Cream and its great!
I love Ice cream. nothing is better on a hot summer day.
Much as I love Turkey Hill and love to support a local company, I can’t share with my best friend who is allergic to corn products. I know sugar and high fructose corn syrup have the same calories, etc., but it would nice to have some choices that don’t include HFCS to share my favorite flavors with my friend.
ice cream ice cream
I have to have my daily fix of it!
I haven’t seen the july flavor in my local store.. I will have to take a better look. Its sounds yummie!
The Peanut Butter Brownie (May) was great! But now it is gone. Everytime you come out with a great flavor, it is quickly discontinued in the stores. Bring back Peanut Butter Brownie permanently! I also love the 2 new Yankee flavors you came out with, especially the chocolate one. I’m sure those will be discontinued soon as well.
Hope I can find some of these great-sounding flavors in New jersey!
I’d love some PB Brownie or Fried Ice Cream, but cant find any down here.
I will though, have my Extreme Cookies & Cream.
So many great flavors, so little time!
I am a huge Turkey Hill Ice Cream Fan!!
I have to have some ice cream everyday no matter what the season. I enjoy Chocolate Marshmallow yogurt. How about coming up with a Mocha variety?
Nothing is better than a heaping cone full of Turkey Hill Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. It tells me summer is really here!!!
Turkey Hill is awesome ice cream. MMMMMMM
PLEASE make Southern Lemon Pie a regular flavor! I can’t wait for it again until next June!!
sounds like fun, but it doesn’t suit us tomorrow evening. i’ll have to enjoy my turkey hill ice cream later….and it will be skinny mint….yum!
Gotta get to the store to see what they have!!
I’mma comin’!
I’m pregnant, and the other day I had a HUGE craving for the Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter swirl ice cream. I went to the store but they didn’t have any, so I went to my sister-in-law’s house where I had an emergency carton stored in her freezer, but we found that her mom (my mother-in-law) had eaten the whole thing. I cried and cried. You guys have me so addicted
Hey, maybe sometime you could come out with a Smores ice cream? I love that stuff, the graham ice cream, crunchy graham cracker swirl and marshmallow swirl and chocolate pieces… oh gosh, another craving :/
I tried Yankee Pinstripes Brownie Blast. It’s off the hook. If you have a real sweet tooth, the brownie bits really make it happen.
would love to come . maybe next time
I love the PHILLIES GRAND SLAM BECAUSE OUR PHILLIES ARE THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPS LAST YEAR AND WE ARE GOING TO WIN AGAIN THIS YEAR. EVERY ONE AT THE CITIZENS BANK SHOULD GET A CONE OF GRAND SLAM.
Turkey Hill is my FAVORITE ice cream..I am addicted to the chocolate peanut butter swirl and just bought the duo peanut butter explosion…OMG…soooo good. I also bought the cookies and cream…which is so delicious too. Going to the market to pick out a flavor takes so long…I don’t think I have had one that isn’t good. Thanks Turkey Hill…you have the BEST ice cream going!!!
Sounds like fun! Will have to see if I can find one of the Limited Edition flavors otherwise it will have to be Cherry Chocolate Cordial frozen yogurt!!
We constantly have the fat free Dutch Chocolate in the freezer. The freezer and refrigerator could be completely bare, but there is always the Turkey Hill Dutch Chocolate ice cream in there. Excellent.
Where can I find it around here???
I miss the NY giants ice cream.
I am on my way out to pick up extra Turkey Hill for the party tomorrow night. We always love this and knowing others are celebrating at the same time is a great idea. We never get enough ice cream!
Turkey Hill ROCKS!!!!!!!
Oh, I can’t wait until the party. I just hope my disabled brother behaves so I can get on the computer. Truth be told I really can’t pick a favorite flavor of TH, I love them all. Linda
Oh, I JUST realized that the party is WEDNESDAY night (yes, I’m a little slow). We have a meeting planned that night, so I’ll miss the party.
I guess that I’ll just have to sink my sorrow in ice cream …
I loved the new Yankee flavor-vanilla- it was very good! I have yet to try the chocolate version. I am a New York Yankee fan so this was really nice to be able watch baseball and eat ice cream. It almost made it seem like I was at the game! I like the team connection. The fact that I live in Syracuse and we actually got it all the way up to us here in Central New York!
Would love to have more choices in the fat free yogurt line – our store doesn’t normally have much variety/selection ( plenty of choices in the “normal” ice cream flavors )
I like when the TH ice cream goes on sale …stock up.
I like when TH goes on sale… I stock upi.
Should be fun.I’ll have to participate the next time you have it planned.Keep up the great job!
What I love about Turkey Hill is I know that whatever flavor or product I buy it is going to be quality. Knowing that when you make that purchase, whether it is ice cream, ices, yogurt, or drinks, it is always delicious. Thank you for making great products. More ice cream please!!!
Don’t think I’ll make it to the party wednesday night…but I will comment…
I’ve tried almost all the limited edition flavors except for Jr. Mint(not much of a mint fan)and German Chocolate(which Never came to our area,to bad because I,m a chocoholic)… I have to say that the Peanut Butter Brownie is my favorite…It has such a wonderful creamy peanut butter taste and the brownies taste fresh baked…THIS SHOULD BE A PERMANENT FLAVOR.. these is the best combination of Peanut Butter and Chocolate ice cream that I’ve eaten…some flavor suggestions…Chocolate Raspberry Duetto,Peach Cobbler,Peach Mango…
Looks like a trip to the store is in order!
Unfortunately, I missed out on all the special flavors because they were always sold out when I went to the store!
ice cream is always a party! yeah turkey hill…
Even my son who is a Boston Red Sox fan (HORRORS!!) loves the New York Yankee flavors! They rock (the ice cream and the Yanks)!!
we are seniors and have ice cream float ‘rehearsals’ here in our condo group, frequently during summer – just for fun. we only use turkey hill ice cream so now another reason to party ! yeah…
I just picked up Peanut Butter Brownie, can’t wait ’til try it. I thing a Dusty Road OR a Blueberry Pie ice cream flavor would be a GREAT addition.:-)
I love Ice cream and since the summer is here, I have had my fair share of ice cream. My favorite is strawberry but I’m adventurous when it comes to food. I would love if Turkey Hill Tiramisu Ice Cream. Ooooooo, yummy!!!
I wish my store had more of a variety of ice cream.
I like Fried Ice Cream. Southern Lemon Pie was ok but I wouldnt get it again.
What’s the double dunk like? Haven’t tried it yet haven’t even seen it in the local store.
There is nothing better than Turkey Hill’s Vanilla Bean. It is so refreshing.
Awhile ago you had strawberry rhubarb
ice cream and it was the best that I have ever tasted. It was a flavor of the month and never repeated again. What fond memories I have of that flavor and hope someday you will make it again.
Feature flavor suggestion – cinnamon bun
All of the Turkey Hill Ice Creams are so delicious but I mix Vanilla Bean and either Strawberry or Raspberry and let it soften and sit back enjoying just like old time soft serve I had as a child. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
I can’t believe I missed Fried Ice cream month!
One of my fondest memories as a young boy, is of my mother telling me of the song she sang as a little girl in the 1920′s and the joy it brought her.
“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream,”
The look on her face as she went back in time in her memories of an innocent time, a time when although poor she had no idea, a time when ice cream was all that was needed to make things right. While times have changed, ice cream hasn’t. It is the singular pleasure that unites us with our past, our parents, granparents and great grand parents past and is as a pure a joy today as it was a hundred years ago !
Nothing can compare to the undeniable pleasure the ice cream has given to Billions of people World Wide
Someone said Blueberry pie flavor….I second that! Sounds yummy!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Turkey Hill’s Partycake and I’m on my way to the grocery store right now to pick some up.
I would love to be featured in the 2010 calendar next to my first love “PARTYCAKE”!
Partycake is number 1!
Thanks for the reminder!
In scrolling through the comments i noticed someone mention a strawberry rhubarb limited edition from some time ago..wish i could have tried that one! Am i the only Californian that regularly reads this blog? i am living vicariously through all of you!! i can only get TH when i come visit!!
Great taste, great quality. Love the specials also.
Philadelphia Eagles Sundae is your best flavor…when I can find it in the stores.
I love the idea of adding cobbler ice cream flavors
I think plain chocolate chip ice cream is the best, but all I can find is chocolate chip cookie dough.(I won’t eat that.)
Don’t tell me some one else make ice cream,I though TURKEY HILL was the only one. TURKEY HILL ICECREAM IS STILL THE BEST!!!!!!
TH vanilla ice cream and diet root beer go together so well
I’m starting the party early!!!
I haven’t tried the NY Yankees ice cream. Does Turkey Hill make a NY Giants Ice Cream?
I’m ready for the party w/my lemon duetto (my personal favorite). Actually, I started the party last night … and the night before … and the night before … and the night before, etc., etc. Oh heck, who am I kidding, I have an ice cream party nearly every night!
Turkey Hill ice cream is the BEST COMFORT food.
What a good excuse to enjoy some TH ice cream.(although one never really needs an excuse) I guess I better get a couple kinds, a girls’ gotta keep an open mind. I still think this journal should be called “The Daily Scoop” TTFN
my wife can”t make it through a night without her bowl of turkey hill vanilla.she eats so mmuch i should open a franchise!it is delicious though!
We had a taste test of the new Yankee Ice cream vs the Hood Red Sox ice cream at work…anyone that heard about came in to try it and vote…. THE YANKEE ICE CREAM WON –of course!
Will ther be a peppermint in the future?
I can hardly wait!
I love your ice cream, but I wish I could get your Special Edition Yankee flavors !!! I live in the D.C. Metro Area, so they’re NOT available here, UNFORTUNATELY !! Hope one day I can get to N.Y. to buy some, if they’re still available !! Let me know, Thanks.
I love your Cookies and Cream ice cream. It reminds me of a time in the 70′s when I would be at my boyfriends house. We would have ice cream. I took vanilla ice cream and broke cookies and put it all in a cup. Then I would eat it with a fork. Now I just buy Turkey Hill Cookies and Cream and it is great!
I love Turkey Hill!
I haven’t tried the Double Dunker – hope my local store has it!
How about some STEELERS Ice cream ! Everyone loves Turkey Hill! so don’t you think this would be a win win combo, since the Pittsburgh Steelers have 6 Super Bowl Titles and Turkey Hill makes the very best Ice Cream ! What are we waiting for!
Just today I was thinking I need to get some ice cream. Will definitely get some for tomorrow night’s party.
You should have a flavor with White Chocolate in it if you don’t already.
I heart Turkey Hill’s Coffee Ice cream!
I’ll be there for the party! I just have to get the ice cream still… I’ve looked in a few places for the Double Dunker but haven’t found it yet. And one place was completely sold out of Turkey Hill ice cream!
I am of Italian decent and we love all things Italian (I live in a city with a rich Italian hisotry and culture). Of course Gelatto is one of the culinary delights at the top of the list…..but if nobody tells my sister that I actually prefer Turkey Hill, I will admit it. Is there a Turkey Hill Anonymous group anywhere out there?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE….
More no sugar added flavors!!!!!
Ripple, chocolate, vanilla, mint,
Ice-cream so cold, makes me squint.
Strawberry, rainbow, marshmallow fluff,
Can never seem to get enough!
Cookie dough, pecan, peanut butter cup,
In a bowl or cone – its a great pick-me-up!
Caramel, tin roof, cookies ‘n cream,
Freezer full of Turkey Hill would be my dream!

I recently found a great idea for an ice cream party game! (not for tomorrow night, but to plan with your close friends). This is great for both an indoor or an outdoor party. First, make a large cone using card stock and fill it with wrapped candies and pebbles. Make your guests sit in a circle and start the music. As the music plays, the cone is passed from one guest to another. When the music stops, the person holding the cone picks one wrapped object. If it turns out to be a candy, the person moves out of the circle and sits in the area of ‘Winners’. If it turns out to be a pebble, the person sits in the area of ‘Losers’. Game resumes and continues in the same way till all guests are split into Winners and Losers.
The ‘Losers’ pay a penalty by serving ice cream first to the ‘Winners’ and then to themselves.
Another great ice cream party idea that I found online is an ice cream craft. First you take clear plastic Sundae glasses and glue colored cotton balls in it to make fake Ice-cream sundaes. Add beads or chopped crayons to make the ‘topping’.
Another game which is basically A classic favorite – ‘Pin the Cherry on the Sundae’. Draw a sundae on a large piece of cardboard and have the kids place a red bottle cap where the cherry goes, blindfolded of course. See more Ice Cream Party game ideas.
One final game involves Serve different flavors of ice-cream in ice-cream cups and let the guests guess which ice-cream flavor it is by smelling it. All participants are blindfolded when they sniff so that they don’t see the color of the ice-cream.
hi i chese peaches and cream when i tasted it it was the i just imagined it. my favorite part was the peaches and there is nothing better then a ice cream party
Got the new double dunker ice cream now I am all set for tomorrow nights blog ice cream party got some italian ice as well
I think you should add “Nutty Caramel Caribou” to your regular flavors instead of Limited Edition flavors. If you haven’t tried it yet, YOU MUST!!! It’s the best ice cream I have ever had.
Signed, Dorothy
Everyday is an ICE CREAM PARTY at my house. I can make ice cream a meal. I love Turkey Hill!!!!!!!!
I am having the Nutty Caramel Caribou as I write. MY NEW FAVORITE! I bought 4 of the 6 cartons the store had today and plan to return for the other 2 cartons tomorrow. I too, want this to be a regular,,please and thanks.
Can’t wait until tomorrow! A party is always a good thing and it is even better when ice cream is involved. See you then!
Well this will be a first, never been to an ice cream on line party… should be interesting. I assume it is eastern standard time since you are in PA?
Oh Ice Cream Party…WOW..bring it on…
My twin girls love ice cream…Turkey Hill is their favorite.
I can’t make it because tomorrow night is Tisha B’Av. You probably haven’t heard of it, but look it up if you’re curious. I’ll have my ice cream this weekend!
my 2 yr old son just started eating icecream cones and he would love to win some yummy icecream!

I love Turkey Hill Ice Cream. It’s the best. I’ll be looking for Peanut Butter Brownie – sounds yummy.
An online ice cream party?? It’s genius!!

Will be out tomorrow evening…but have fun!
What a great way to bring all the Turkey Hill fans together. Can’t wait for the party.
There is nothing more enjoyable on a hot day then Turkey Hill ice cream in a waffle cone, delicious.
Just got in from a hot work day. Will have a long day tomorrow and will miss the fun. But when I do get in be sure I will have my Turkey Hill
Like I’d have to go out and buy ice cream for this! There is never an ocassion without TH in my freezer! thant would be devastating1

Great Product. If Walmart don’t have Turkey Hill, I go somewhere else.

I’d love to see some wet walnuts added…I’d love to see some chocolate with banana pieces and wet walnuts! YUMMY~
Is there a bad ice cream flavor? I don’t think so! Cold and creamy… How could any flavor be called bad? Keep
‘em comin’.
I love the sugar free and fat free ice cream. I am on a weight loss program, and this ice cream saved me from going off my diet plan.
Caramel and Marshmallow make any ice cream treat irrsistible!
I’m going out to buy more ice cream. One of the yummy sounding flavors.
Supposed to leave for vacation today…Tempted to stay for party!!! LOL!
I wish ice cream month was celebrated each month out of the year!
Wish I could enjoy the party but will be at work darn I love a good party
Yay, it’s party day! I have to run out and buy ice cream today.
I can’t wait to get more choco flavored treats. keep the doors open for me.
We love parties. Especially ice cream ones. Bring it on!!!!!!!
While all of the Turkey Hill Limited Edition flavors are good, none “takes the cake” in my book quite like the one coming out again this fall (fingers crossed!) Baked Apple Dumpling!!
True story: I first discovered this flavor in my pregnant friend’s freezer a few years ago. Now I’m so addicted to it, every year I buy several cartons as soon as it comes out and store them in the deep freezer so that I’ll still have a supply once it’s no longer in stores.
Another true story: Turkey Hill is not distributed as far away as Louisiana where my family lives. But this flavor is so good, I could not keep it to myself! So one year, when I drove home for Christmas, I bought a little lunch-sized cooler and carefully packed my last single deep-frozen carton in with plenty of ice, and kept replenishing the ice over the course of the 2-day, 1400-mile, 9-state trip! (By the way, that’s a task that gets harder and warmer the further south you drive, even at Christmastime!) But the verdict when they finally tasted it? “DEEEEE-licious!! Bring us another next Christmas!”
Baked Apple Dumpling won’t be released this year in time for tonight’s taste test party, and my last year’s supply is long gone. But ya’ll keep it in mind for when you see it in stores this fall!!
I’m on my way out the door to buy some for tonight.
No need to make a trip to the store – there is always turkey hill icecream in my freezer. Right now it is cookies and cream – that’s what I had for dinner last night!
I LOVE YOUR PRODUCTS!
We love chocolate peanut butter cup-It’s the best.
Ice cream feels like a swim in a cool pool, and vice versa.
I love it!
I have a hard time finding Party Cake in Northeast Ohio, when I do I stock up.
How about making Coconut Creme Ice Cream, NOT Coconut Creme Pie Ice Cream, leave the cake and pieces out of a few of your special flavors.
I really like the idea of dual flavors. I thought the lemon was wonderful. I would LOVE to see a reduced fat coffee/espresso mix. That would be wonderful!
I love Turkey Hill ice cream. Don’t know thatI’ll be joining the party, but do have a fresh box of black raspberry to enjoy.
I would like a marachino cherry ice cream with walnuts in it. Sweet and crunchy. Hmmm. Linda
Hi turkey hill,
I will be at the party tonight
I love your coconut cream pie flavor!
mmmmmm, that Baked Apple Dumpling Turkey Hill ice cream sounds good, I’m going to look for it at my local grocery this fall! That would be so good with a piece of carrot cake or pumpkin pie
Love the new and creative flavors. Our favorite was the box of choc!!!! It was a hit with my wife and daughters and cheaper then buying a real box of choc
I think the new Turkey Hill commercials are really cute! I’d love to see one with the old-time record LP version of “I Scream You Scream we all scream for Ice Cream!”
I can’t wait for 8.
I wish that virtual reality would work on this one–I’d love to be able to taste them all! I’m going to try to be there anyway–if it includes ice cream–I’m there!
I would like it to be that when a new flaover is releast that it is sent to all stores so the consunmer can decise to buy or not I ask but don’t get the new ones in my store
Looking forward to it.
just had my daily dose of Turkey hill and it’s only 9am
Do I have to wait until 8:00 to try one of these great flavors?
Let’s party! I’ll be there with my trusty electric ice cream scoop in hand. No, I’m not kidding. It’s just the best Turkey Hill helper that I own.
Sounds great!
We’re glad to see so many people are anxious to attend tonight’s party! We’re looking forward to it too.
By the way, we agree with Michael’s statement: “Ice cream feels like a swim in a cool pool, and vice versa.”
Going shopping right after work today so I can party along. If no Limited Editions in the store. I’ll be joining with the Phillies Graham Slam. Our family fave.
Like I don’t already have several flavors to choose from in my freezer
I’m happy to join in!
Fried ice cream is the best. Love the cinnamon flavor. Would be great with caramel topping!
Uhoh, started the party last night and will continue into tonight! I can never have enough Turkey Hill ice cream and to me when I eat it, EVER DAY is a party!!!!
I may just have to move!
Looking forward to the party with all my new “friends”. We are stocked and ready to do the ice cream float…………………GO STEELERS !!
Turkey Hill is always filled with flavor and anytime is Turkey Hill time. Thanks for a great product.
cool
I can’t wait until tonight! barbara
Hope I can join the party!
Good thing I checked your website and found out the “Turkey Hill Ice Cream Party” is tonight . . . we just licked-out the carton last night so I’ll be sure to stop on my way home for some more YUMMY TURKEY HILL ICE CREAM! When it’s hot/sticky/humid outside we sometimes just have ice cream for supper! YUM!
My husband had back surgery last week and the first thing he wanted when he got home was a big bowl of Turkey Hill All Natural Vanilla Bean and All Natural Coffee ice cream.
Turkey Hill has the best variety of flavors and we try them all. New flavors are at the top of our list to try each time we purchase Turkey Hill.
Is someone disqualified if they are eating a TH ice cream sandwich?
Thanks for the reminder. What a decision! Which flavor should I choose? I may not chat much because I’ll be occupied eating my Turkey Hill Limited Edition ______.
Your Tin Roof sundae is absolutely delicious! The chocolate covered peanuts are extremely fresh–can’t stop eating this ice cream!
Jealous I can’t be there…but have fun!
Cant wait. What a better reason to eat ice cream.
HELPIMG MICHELE!!! I found Double Dunker @ the Shoprite on Rt.130 in North Brunswick so if you live near there pick it up before the party. I might meet you there since I finished mine & need more for tonight’s party!!! The TH commercial is on TV as we speak!!!
I’m looking forward to joining in.
I’m running, not walking to get Double Dunkers!!
As we all know I’m a die hard chocoholic so death by chocolate would be quite a welcome return. I finally got my hands on the yankees flavor not bad but I actually like the philly graham flavour! I missed May’s flavour of pb (which goes great w/ choc cookie crunches) can’t wait for tomorrow night!
Double cunker is the bomb!! it should stay on the shelves all year long!
Anything to do with ice cream, has got to be something good. Looking forward to the ‘chatting’.
Can anyone say CREAMY Goodness!! MMM love the new NYYankees flavors. The store is sold out of both flavors….help!!!
Hey if its ice cream i will be there and if its TURKEY HILL i will definatly be there.
Can’t wait to get BirthdayCake IC!
i loved the coconut cream pie ice cream and southern lemon pie was to die for. they should make a terrimisu ice cream.
HOW ABOUT BRINGING BACK THOSE PEANUT BUTTER ICE CREAM SANDWICHES? THEY WERE THE BEST!
Since that’s bed time (kids not mine) I’ll likely miss it but hopefully I can read it after the fact.
I think next year you should send us some coupons for free ice cream so we can buy flavors we wouldn’t normally buy. This way we can participate and maybe even find a new flavor to buy in the future. Could boost sales … You never know.
I love this blog but the email coming one day late as well as the blog postings is quite confusting.
I will bring a bowls and some spoons
Happy birthday to Deborah Leonardis! My birthday is also August 5th. What a wonderful idea to share your birthday ice cream with senior citizens.
This will be my first birthday without my darling mother by my side. She was 100 years old when she left me two weeks before Christmas — and none of the holidays have been the same without her.
I had a tradition of sending my mother flowers on my birthday to thank her for giving me life. I was looking for a new tradition to mark the day and how much I love my mother. Thank you Deborah for an inspired idea. I hope you have a great day and a happy and healthy year.
All you Turkey Hill fans — have a great ice cream discussion tonight. I won’t be able to join in. This is the end of the summer term and I am giving my students final exams tonight and tomorrow night.
I scream everyday for ice cream. Only Turkey Hill ice cream. Your choices are the best and the limited ones are the best I am always waiting to see what you pair up in the flavors. I keep screaming for turkey hill ice creaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m always screaming for Turkey Hill ice creaming.!!!!!!!!!! Love all the flavors. Its the best on a summer day!!
do I have to wait My spoon is at the ready …
had to make a special trip for 2 cartons of duetto.
A resounding vote to BRING BACK DEATH BY CHOCOLATE! It was the best dark chocolate ice cream ever!! I also support the other commentors flavor suggestions for S’mores and a chocolate/black raspberry duo or duetto.
I absolutely LOVE all the ice cream Turkey Hill puts out!! When there’s a special at the store…LOOK OUT I ‘ve got the shopping cart full and I will once again fill our freezer!! We are loyal fans!!
Last night I finished off some Light Chocolate Pretzel Turkey Hill – yum!! So good and low fat!! I love it!!
Happy Birthday to everyone who had a birthday up to today. Let’s not forget the people who’s birthday is yet to come, Happy Birthday to you too. Nina M. remebering you Mother with ice cream is a wonderful idea. Can’t wait for the ice cream party tonight, won’t be eating a Limited Edition though. I’m going to make a Brownie Sundae with Vanilla Bean and chocolate syrup. MMMMMM, yummy.
Where is the link for 7/29?
We buy lots of Turkey Hill Ice Cream. My husband likes anything with chocolate. jl
I just love the peanut butter brownie. Also I just purchased on of your ice cream cakes. They are delicious! I only wish more stores carried them!
Every day is ice cream party day!!!
I can eat ice cream anytime of day or night. Sometimes I have eaten ice cream for my supper.
As long as you put chocolate in your ice cream I will buy it but I like mint chip the best!
I ain’t waiting for no stinking party I’m eating my ice cream NOW!!
0
Jean, my daughter, loves Party Cake over a brownie for her after-camp cool-off. I can’t believe its real pieces of yummy cake. Thanks for making our tummies happy.
(Whining) My store doesn’t have any of those flavors. Oh, well, at least the ones they do carry are excellent!
What great idea. An oldfashioned treat meets a hight tech public forum. The next generation in the ice cream social!
Another reason for a party: Turkey Hill’s ice cream was listed among the very best ice creams in the nation by the Center for Science in the Public Interest’s latest Nutrition Action Health Newsletter. Turkey Hill was the only regional product featured out of all the brands, the others were all national brands. Good job Turkey Hill!
I can’t get to the store to get one of those flavors today, but I’ll be reading!
There is no ice cream company better than Turkey Hill–thanks for everything—-
I just read my e-mail and already ate ice cream and cake tonight. Next time give us a couple of days warning and then reminders.
I too love your ice cream but. like Judy my store does not carry all those flavors…..
mint chocolate chip! Always have T.H. on tap in our freezer. Family arrives Saturday so we are stocked w/mint, vanilla, chocolate with the store only 2 blocks away! Always Meme’s favorite? coffee.
Can’t make the party, but already had my daily TH. Cheers!
Black cherry is great at this time of year or any time of the year. but one with toffee, pecans and nougat and chocolate in vanilla is really great. I oculd eat that every time.
we’ve got the best ice cream so let’s get this party started. let’s play a game. give some hints and play “name that flavor”…..
a half hour for a party is a shoirt time guess you have to lick quickly
One more hour to go! Our ice cream is ready and waiting!
By the way, we like Cheryl’s idea of playing “Name that Flavor”…we might just do that today. Stay tuned!
Sorry I will miss the Party. I’ll have to sit back and have a duo movie night.
I love turkey hill’s gelati ice cream…with cherry gelati and vanilla ice cream. It’s not like the gelati in Italy, but it does the trick just as well.
I love Turkey Hill Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt and Turkey Hill Raspberry and Peach Iced Teas. I also love that Turkey Hill was at the Pittsburgh Race for the Cure a few years ago. Thank you.
here are my comments about my favorite flavor:
1. Did the flavor taste the way you imagined it would?
peanut butter brownie was my favorite
2. Did you like it? If so, should we make it a permanent flavor in the Turkey Hill line-up?
yes, it should be a permanent flavor or one that is offered annually
3. What’s your favorite part of the flavor?
the combination of the 3 things ice cream, brownie and peanutbutter
4. What would you change (if anything) about the flavor?
not at all
5. What sort of toppings would go well with the flavor?
whipped cream or just nothing
6. If you could change the name of the flavor, what would you call it?
heavenly sundae
7. Is there anything in the world better than an ice cream party?
nothing
My most favorite ice cream is Junior Mint Ice Cream. I wish it were available all year long. I also love the Peppermint one………no chocolate in it, but it’s very festive for the holidays. And I wish I could find a plain banana ice cream……..like the banana flavor that is in Banana Split.
Lee is the first person to sound off at the party! Welcome Lee!
Lancaster, PA
We’ve even got some of the Limited Edition Bananas Foster Duetto on our end. We forgot to mention that in the Limited Edition listing we wrote about, but its available through the first half of 2009 (and a little beyond).
Lancaster, PA
We enjoy most of your standard flavors. However, our biggest favorite is Black Raspberry; however, none of the supermarkets in our area (Montgomery County, MD) ever carry the flavor. We have to purchase it up north, and bring it back home. What can you do to remedy this problem. Several of the falvors you wanted us to test were not offered in the stores in our area.
Okay, let’s get this party started. One free container of Turkey Hill ice cream to the first person who can tell us which Turkey Hill flavor is “swirled with whipped marshmallow and butter-roasted almonds.”
Feel free to visit TurkeyHill.com to find the answer!
Lancaster, PA
Hi – I finally found Double Dunker and am going to taste it now! But… why isn’t the party in a separate journal entry? We shouldn’t be commenting on yesterday’s entry!
Brookline, MA
I’m very punctual 8)) LET’S PARTY!!!
Ernie-let’s keep Double Dunker FOREVER-NOT just a Limited Edition-Don’t change a thing!!! The Coffee Merlot Chocolate Sauce for the Trivia Contest Prize would be delish on Double Dunker!!! Go for it!!! I hope I win so I can try it!!! Who won the ice cream books? ME? The next party needs decorations- I have some TH magnets hanging from the ceiling!!!I have ice cream cone balloons and will play Pin The Tail On Bo!!! All I need now is coupons for TH ice cream to give as party favors and prizes!!! Ernie, wanna come to MY TH gala- you & your coworkers are welcome!!!
We – spouse and I – did try the Southern Lemon Pie – we liked it! Not suggest making any changes
Okay, in honor of the party, I just served Neapolitan fat free to my husband and myself. We both enjoy it. I like the vanilla. He likes the chocolate and we share the strawberry.
I’d love to see more fat free flavors offered for those of us with cholesterol problems.
New Jersey
Good question, J Mike. As many of you might have seen, it can be hard to find some flavors in certain stores. It’s up to the individual grocery store or freezer managers to order flavors from us, so we’d recommend requesting the flavors from your grocery manager. You’d be surprised how often they take customer requests into consideration!
Lancaster, PA
Sounds like Rocky Road to me!!
The flavor you asked about is Rocky Road!
Brookline, MA
Ok.. now I’ve got to scoop up some caramel cone chaos and get ready. I love the chocolate chunk covered cone bits, and the big swirls of caramel. I guess this is dinner for me!
Cape May, NJ
love eating turkey hill at the phillies games especialy the graham slam
Graham flavored TH has marshmellow & alomonds
Could not find the PB brownie or Double Dunker yet. Just tried the PB Explosion and loved it, 2 flavors compliment each other well. Dark chocolate w/ rasberry swirl paired with vanilla and brownie would be something I would like to see!Hope to find Double Dunker soon!!!
lol…we thought about that Lauren (creating a separate blog entry). We’ll change the subject of this one to avoid confusion for people just tuning in.
Nancy and J Mike – Glad you like the flavors. Nancy, we’ll pass your request to make DD a permanent flavor!
Jacqueline – glad to see you and your hubby can use the Neapolitan to arrive at a consensus!
Rocky Road
love that graham slam at the phillies games even though i live in jersey.
Lynn won the free ice cream! Yes, Rocky Road is the flavor “swirled with whipped marshmallow and butter-roasted almonds.”
Lynn – Please email your mailing address using the Ask Ernie link on the right (or we’ll just send you an email tomorrow…whichever is easiest!).
Stay tuned for another free ice cream game in a few minutes.
It’s Moose Tracks for me! Everyone enjoy the party.
We see many of you are having difficulty finding the Double Dunker Limited Edition flavor. It’s our newest LE flavor, so it will be tough to find.
The way the Limited Edition flavors usually work in grocery stores is that grocery store managers usually wait until last month’s LE flavor is sold out before ordering the current LE flavor. That’s why some stores are a little behind.
J Mike is fast. No sooner read the question, than he answered!
Rocky Road is right!!!That has marshmellows & almonds!!!
My family loves the Philadelphia Eagles touchdown ice cream! Also love the chocolate and marshmallow!
Whooo Hoooo!! I won! Thanks!! My family loves Turkey Hill!!!
Lynn from Saugerties, NY
Speed is the name of the game with these ice cream party giveaways. Glad you like the Graham Slam Jennifer! Have you tried the Phillie Phanatic Double Play? (oops, sorry, we meant Eagles TD Sundae…we’ve got Philly sports on the brain)
Another ice cream giveaway coming up in 60 seconds. Get ready.
More free ice cream up for grabs. One container of Turkey Hill ice cream to the first person who can tell us which Turkey Hill ice cream flavor has “praline pecans and a caramel swirl.”
Feel free to check our site for the answer!
Praline Pecan Paradise!!
Be back in 30 seconds. Heading to the freezer for another scoop!
Whoa! Lauren is lightning fast! We barely had time to grab some more Southern Lemon Pie and she already got the correct answer.
Good job, Lauren. Please email your mailing address using the Ask Ernie link on the right, or we’ll just drop you an email tomorrow.
Another question coming up soon. We promise this one will be harder!
What’s the most different flavors you usually put in one bowl? Actually, does anyone put more than one flavor in the same bowl?
OK, here they are! Our comments on Double Dunker (from me and Steve, my fellow ice cream taster and husband):
1. Did the flavor taste the way you imagined it would? It’s crunchier and more chocolate-y than we thought it would be.
2. Did you like it? If so, should we make it a permanent flavor in the Turkey Hill line-up? Yes, and yes!
3. What’s your favorite part of the flavor? The mocha flavor.
4. What would you change (if anything) about the flavor? It’s a little too gritty. Add a little more cookie dough. Make it a little less chocolate-y.
5. What sort of toppings would go well with the flavor? Whipped cream! (Or Cool-Whip.) And nuts. Maybe caramel. Marshmallow.
6. If you could change the name of the flavor, what would you call it? Double Dunker is good.
7. Is there anything in the world better than an ice cream party? An ice cream party on a spaceship full of ninjas (says Steve).
Always!!! Sometimes I have as many as 8 or 9 flavors in my freezer at any 1 time. Making new recipes by mixing is FUN & CREATIVE besides being DELISH!!!
I don’t think I usually put more than one flavor in a bowl of ice cream. Hey, you’re trying to get us to buy more ice cream, aren’t you?!
It does sound like a good idea…
Great feedback Lauren. More cookie dough is always a good thing!!
As for the ice cream party on a spaceship with ninjas, we might be able to wrangle up some ninjas (if there are any in Lancaster County), but the spaceship might be a challenge.
I don’t usually combine flavors, except for the cartons that now come with two flavors (vanilla w/choc almonds paired with coconut is very good)
Wow! 8 or 9 flavors in your freezer, Nancy?! You are truly an ice cream FANATIC! (In other words, we think you’re awesome.)
How weird is it that after over 7,000 votes in this month’s poll (What’s your favorite ice cream inclusion?), peanut butter cups is the #1 favorite, yet peanuts are in last place?
Trying to win ice cream but my computer is to slow. Do you have another question I can answer? Wish this computer ran on ice cream!!!
Well I enjoyed the party with Phillies Graham Slam and Mint Chocolate Chip in Waffle Ice Cream Bowls …good stuff
Okay, last free ice cream giveaway question. The first person to answer correctly gets a free container of Turkey Hill ice cream!
How many different flavors of Turkey Hill Light Recipe ice cream are there?
Again, feel free to use our website to find the answer!
A computer that ran on ice cream would be great Nancy. We’re guessing that computer would be a Microsoftserve (sorry, we couldn’t help it).
Glad you could join us Fran!
18
8 or 9 besides novelties- Variety is the spice of life and VERY EXCITING thanks to TH!!! PS- The teas are delishes, too. Very refreshing-especially in the summer. Bought 6 of those at the Shoprite just last Sunday!!!
18 flavors of light ice cream
Ice cream parties are the most fun.
I’m happy about that free ice cream – thank you!!!
Variety is certainly the spice of life, Nancy. Glad you like our teas too. They’re in over 40 states and counting!
Peanut butter cups are better in ice cream than peanuts (in my opinion) because they are creamy and mix in with the ice cream!
There’s nothing quite like the flavor of peanut butter and chocolate together! Yum!
Tina is the first to get the right answer! There are 18 flavors in the Turkey Hill Light Recipe line-up (wow, we can remember when there were only five or six!). Please email your mailing address to us using the Ask Ernie link on the right (or we’ll just email you tomorrow).
By the way, interesting fact: Today is the 1,000th day of the Ice Cream Journal. It’s totally by coincidence that we’re having the first ever ice cream party on this day!
We agree with you Tina and Lauren, the PB cups are probably the favorite because of the chocolate and because they mix in better.
Thank you! That’s so nice!
VERY FUNNY ABOUT THE MICROSOFTSERVE COMPUTER!!! lol Where can I get coupons to reboot?
We’d tell you to call the Microsoftserve company to ask about those coupons, but you’d probably spend more time on hold than it’s worth.
Whew! Just finished off my last scoop of ice cream for the night. Definitely near a record amount for one evening, but I loved every bite!
hope i am in time had to walk the dog. I got the new special flavoe double dunker, 1)it tasted better than expected
2)keep it on as a regular 3)coffe/chocolate blend 4) CHANGE TO DECAF please 5) top it with fudge of course 6) no need to change the neam it describes it perfectly 7) nothing is better than and ice cream party
New Flavor: Pinnapple Coconut Macadamian Nut would float my boat.
Congratulations on the 1000 days, and thanks for the ice cream party!
You’re not too late at all Susan! Welcome! A Pineapple Coconut Macadamia Nut ice cream sounds great. Very Hawaiian. Anyone wanna suggest some names for that one?
Thanks Lauren! Glad you could make it. Hope to see you at the next one!
You’re right-all my TH would be melted while I waited for the MICROSOFTSERVER server!!!
Tropical Paradise !!!!
Good name, Tina. If that ice cream flavor ever gets made, we’ll make sure to suggest that one (and give you credit, of course).
As for the melted ice cream, Nancy, that would be ice cream soup, which isn’t all that bad. One of my favorite parts of eating ice cream is scooping up the melty puddles of ice cream that collect at the bottom of the bowl while I eat it!
Thank you for a great party Ernie!!! Keep up the fabulous work!!! Looking forward to the next party!!!Wishing you champaign wishes, caviar dreams and ice cream always & forever!!!- Your Icecreamaholic friend!!!
Thanks for coming Nancy and for being so active in our party! We’ll have another ice cream party next month!
Thank you Turkey Hill team! Fun party!
Thank you Tina! And thanks to everyone for coming out tonight. We’re signing off for tonight, but we’ll see you all at the next party!
If we could change the name of any flavor, we’d change the “Fried Ice Cream”‘s name to “Fiesta”. We think it fits it perfectly!
It’s gotta be Rocky Road!
Good Night everyone.
I have not found a flavor of any Turkey Hill Ice Cream I haven’t totally enjoyed. It just hits the spot every time with each spoonful.
How can anyone just pick one flavor. I haven’t found a TH. taste that wasn’t awesome. Thanks T.H.
Lola(Chbg, PA)
I like several of the flavors but I really really like Tin Roof Sundae!!!!!
Clarks Summit, PA
I can’t buy Turkey Hill in my hometown, but I love the brand. I would love this ice cream to be available near me in Las Vegas, NV.
ss i missed it
hope u all had fun!
I had Southern Lemon Pie. One of my all-time TH Favorites. You could def make it a perm part of the lineup.
great party, delicious new flavors, yummy, yummy, I have love in my tummy
had the bananas foster… yummm
I know I am too late but I just wanted to chime in and say that Double Dunker has become my most favorite flavor or ice cream out there. I have currently scoured the local grocery stores and managed to pick up 6 cartons and am lamenting the day that I run out.
Between the perfect mocha flavor the wonderful cookie dough pieces and the oreo pieces it is simply divine.
Please TH make it a permenant part of the lineup, or at the least make a mocha based flavor part of the lineup.
Jason from MA
I missed the party. That stinks!!! NJ
the two flavors in one box are awesome!
I’m still partying today, its my Birthday
What better way to celebrate than with ICE CREAM. Faith, Brick, NJ
Anything with chocolate is good for me!
Regarding the Turkey Hill Team post about the peanut butter cup flavor being most popular and the peanuts being the least; my husband is always amazed that I love Jif Peanut Butter and Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, but I totally dislike anything else with peanuts. Go figure! Something else distasteful, I have to type in the words buffalo’s stadium to post, yuck! How about Pittsburgh or Philly at least?
Ahhh! the taste of Turkey Hill Phillies Graham Slam! Just like the champs in baseball, Graham Slam is great and superior! Bring more to the shore stores, here in Brick, NJ!
My flavor: Southern Lemon Pie
1. Did the flavor taste the way you imagined it would? Even better!
2. Did you like it? If so, should we make it a permanent flavor in the Turkey Hill line-up? Yes definitely!
3. What’s your favorite part of the flavor? It is very refreshing. Love the lemon pie flavor just the right amount of lemon.
4. What would you change (if anything) about the flavor? Would change nothing
5. What sort of toppings would go well with the flavor? macadamia nuts
6. If you could change the name of the flavor, what would you call it? Like the name as it is.
7. Is there anything in the world better than an ice cream party? Yes….free ice cream
New Milford, CT
I am in love with the Southern Lemon Pie. And this from a chocolate lover. Mmmm so good. Gotta hide from the kids.
I love the lemon ice cream but don’t like the pie crust. I would substitute finely chopped almonds as nuts are a very healthy addition to ice cream. Everyoe should eat a few nuts every day, and this would be a great way to have a healty diet.
The real ART of ice cream partying, folks, is what a famous parlor in Queens NY used to call The Kitchen Sink: throwing in EVERYTHING. Start with a base of Party Cake, surround that by Coffee, add strawberries and peaches, then Strawberry and Peach ice cream, squeeze some real lemon on the Lemon Pie, and slice some bananas (the LONG way, deeears!) gimme some marshmallow goop and hot fudge, and CHECK YOUR PULSE, baby! Feel the RUSH!
Sorry I missed the ice cream social (I don’t know how I managed to do that!). There is one flavor I keep looking for but never see-I can’t remember what it was called, but it tasted like the old-fashioned orange creamsicles. (This flavor’s for my mom-I’m addicted to Moose Tracks!).The last time I saw it was last summer. Can anyone help me out with the name, or where I can find it?
Thanks,
Cheryl
THIS PAST WEEKEND I COULDN’T EVEN FIND THE 2 NEW YANKEE FLAVORS IN THE STORES. DID THEY DISCONTINUE THEM ALREADY?
Perfect timing for the party. Turkey Hill is on sale this week at Shop-Rite!
LOVE the Fried Ice Cream – tastes just like the real thing.
Please, oh please – keep it in the line up!
One more thing: My husband and I were sad to be moving to CT becuase we thought we might miss out on our Lanc Lanc favorite – Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Thanks for making it available in CT, too! We love you guys.
My grandchildren won’t eat any other
Mint Choc Chip, except Choc – o- Mint from
Turkey Hill. Keep it coming.
I wish the Yankees ice cream was available everywhere Turkey Hill is sold.
The NYY Pinstripe Brownie Blast is Great, going to have some as soon as I log off. Ramsey, NJ
I have decided that Turkey Hill icecream is THE BEST icecream that I have had in a very long time. The flavor is great, the creaminess is just what I have been looking for. Keep up the good work. I would love to be able to come to your plant and sample everything you’ve got! I’m looking forward to more flavors. Yummy!!!
I feel that Aug. should be the month you
for banana split because it has all that reminds us of summer fresh fruit
sweet things it takes you back to when you were a kid your first ice cream shop and a old fashion banana split remember how big it looked? in that little dish and how the cherry on top the syrup and the nuts you thought you never eat it all but you did!! well that what I remember each time I have a dish of it only now I can enjoy it at home with my family when we get together
we have it and all the wonderful things we did together please think about it and put in in the stores on sale so we can stock up my grandkids love it they have ice crem sandwiches with grandma cookies when they come
Hi to you all—thank you for all you do for your customers !!!! Have a great night !!!!
Blueberry or strawberry cheesecake ice cream is wonderful. Banana ice cream is fantastic in the summer…maybe you could blend it with graham crackers or peanut butter for a great comfort food flavor.
I only buy Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Rocky Road is my favorite.
Yikes, I’d better run to the store, as we’re down to only two flavors in the freezer. I like to keep 4-6 half gallons at all times. Can’t wait to try the new Double Dunker!
Turkey Hill is the BEST!!!!!Turkey Hill started with my kids years ago nothing compares to this day—the kids are now in there 40′s and it’s still in there freezers-My Springer Spanial has taken over-he expects a small dish of vanilla bean before bed-he does like a small amount of whipped topping on it. Mom get’s flavors but he doesn’t know.
Many years ago (I say atleast 8)I tried some Turkey Hill Butter Brickle ice cream. Loved it, but I have not seen that flavor since then.
Is this the last day that we can post a comment and be entered for a chance to win free ice cream??? Please pick me! Thanks!
I would love to see smaller chocolate pieces in the Mint Chocolate Chip flavor so that the chocolate flavor is more evenly distributed throughout the mint ice cream.
Bordentown, NJ
Hello I just went out and bought Chocolate with Peanut Butter all through the ice cream I LOVE TURKEYHILL !!! IM supose to be on a diet, OH WELL! YUMMY
Butterscotch is my favorite……..TH make some of it! I would definetely buy it!
Also, Blueberry Pie, blueberries with pieces of pie dough in it….yum yum yummy!
I love the peanut butter ripple flavor. There is nothing by anyone else like it. I am a really big fan of peanut butter and this one is the best. I also am crazy about the chocolate peanut butter cup flavor, when it melts a little, the pb cups get all soft. There are a lot of them in there and summer is the best time for a nice bowl if ice cream. Just put some hot fudge on it and you will be in heaven. Yummm.
When you get old and grey sometimes you forget the day. I did-I MISSED THE PARTY. Another reason for more grey.
I need to do some catching up. I think I had better get another bowl of T.H.
plain ole vanilla is my favorite. Kepp up the great work turkey hill
Banana Foster limited edition. Try this if you can find it in your local stores. If you like bananas you will not be disappointed!
i love turkey hill
ALL TH flavors are great! My all-time favorites are Muddy Sneakers and Sticky Bun (which aren’t available anymore). My current fav is strawberry cheesecake, closely followed by party cake (Seeing a theme here?) TH always tastes amazing, but especially on these hot summer nights. Thanks TH for making such a wonderful product (and keeping it affordable!)
you can’t beat turkey hill! all flavors and varities are worth trying. my gp made homemade ice cream over 100 years ago and sold it from a horse and wagon. he’s love turkey hill. in fact my dad (who worked in his father’s ice cream business) who would be 93 also loved it and ate it up to 2 days before died in 2004.
Best I ever had W. Hazleton Pa..joan
OH MY GOODNESS…. When I went shopping this past weekend I finally found the limited addition Double Dunker, OH MY GOODNESS was it great! I didn’t think I would like the mocca, but it was excellent!!! I think this should be a keeper!!!! I have about enough for a 1/2 party. When I go back to the store, I am going to see how much they have left! I’m buying it!!! Why does it have to be a limited addition??????
Ellen
OMG.I tried the southern lemen pie ice cream absoulutly the best.PLEASE PLEASE bring it back.I dont want any other ice cream except that.
