All of us have had an ice cream cone. All of us have also probably had a double scoop cone. Some of us have had a triple scoop and a daring few may have even tried a quadruple scoop cone (only to have it topple into your lap after a few licks). In the video below we see what appears to by a 72 SCOOP ice cream cone (give or take 10 scoops) being served up to a man on a boardwalk. Of course, with 72 scoops of ice cream, hilarity is bound to follow.

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
this is not the way to handle your ice cream, it is very funny but not enjoyable.
I remember when I was in junior high back in the 60′s we would go to the local ice cream store after school and get a skyscraper cone for 10 cents. I wish I knew where to get one of those skyscraper scoops. Mmm, maybe Turkey Hill could find a scoop like that and have it for one of the prizes.
What a waste of good ice cream …
And you can’t have all that ice cream and only one cone !!!
A single scoop is normally good foe me.
That’s one tall ice cream cone, how had he planned on eating it I wonder? He did a good job juggling that down the boardwalk, on the skateboard and finally up his front stairs. What happened then was inevitable.
A single scoop is normally good for me.
Funny but a waste of good ice cream!
Funny video, loved the looks on the bystanders faces, but what a waste of good ice cream!
All one needs is a Huge Bowl to catch the ic falling from the cone and then it is enjoyment heaven. However if it was TH I don’t understand why he would not have eaten it before he began his trek down the boardwalk
Hey Carol I loved the skyscraper cones too…it would be great to find one of those scoops but i heard there not available… they were made special for the Isaly’s ice cream stores and they don’t seeem to be wanting to share the scoops with anyone…maybe someone at TH can verify this info
Too cute!!
Funny video. I tried a quadruple once and my tongue got numb. Better to keep it smaller.
funny, but a total waste of ice cream.
and what a mess!!!
If you finish the whole thing, you should get your picture on a box of limited edition ice cream.
Funny but phony. In the summer on the Coney Island Boardwalk ice cream starts to melt almost as soon as you pay for it. There is no way it could have lasted so long without it dripping. The only real ice cream was thrown onto the steps. Also in the summer in the 70′s biking was not allowed on the boardwalk some I am sure he violated the law with a skateboard. What would be really funny is to film young children with sugar cones that have a hole in the bottom to see how they handle the dripping
I love your ice cream!
I hope the last one was his favorite flavor.
Hey, my friend just called and said the turkey hill cow is on 222 headed towards reading. I wish i would of seen him
Hahaha…
that’s hillarious!!
loved it!
I totally would’ve grabbed a spoon and eaten the tops of the dropped scoops…:)
Funny but what else could have happened? Good News, the red and while stripe Duetta cow is at Darrenkamps in Etown. Going to make my own sundae tonight.
If that was really all ice cream it would of toppled off with the heat, and what a waste of ice cream, I only hope it wasn’t the delicious Turkey Hill ice cream. Linda
I hope all the scoops were Turkey Hill, it looks so good!
Well, it’s obvious this was staged and the video was edited. If that had been real ice cream when he was on the boardwalk the seagulls would have attacked him as we saw in previous videos posted on this site.
How cute! You guys find the most interesting things for this blog!
This is definitely pie in the sky!
Good balance!!
What a waste. Give 72 scoops to a woman and not a drop will be wasted!
oh what fun it was!!!!
Now for a cone of my own TH Strawberry!! Yum Yum
Good Morning Turkey Hills
I love the picture. Ice cram taste so good in the winter more so in the summer time.
You can neve have too much ice cfdam..Time for a party and lets not forget the Turkey Hill!!! Love it!!!
Sorry abouut the last comment bad proof read. You cannot have enough ice cream!! Time to have a party and don’t for get the Turkey Hill!! Love it I’ll take another scoop!!
That is a funny video but who could afford 72 scoops of ice cream? I love my Turkey Hill ice cream but I’ll take a double-dip and not waste one drop!
That was a hoot! Just came home from Wildwood, NJ. Had a cone on the boardwalk (not 72 scoops!)but glad to be back in Lancaster County to my Turkey Hill ice cream!
To Sarah & Caroline, just lighten up & enjoy!Don’t try & analyze. Sometimes, you just got to stop & enjoy the humor with a bowl of ice cream!
Years ago our Isaly’s had what they called a sky hi cone. Wish they were available today to enjoy our Turkey Hill. That way you didn’t have as much risk of losing that delicious ice cream.
People do the funniest things! I really liked that video, who cares if it was real or not? Life is short laugh and have some TH ice Cream! Although I think 2 scoops are enough. HaHa
I just feel bad for all that wasted ice cream!
Two scoops in a bowl for me.
Makes me want to see just how many scoops you can put on a cone and still maintain control of it.
I’ll have a scoop…or two…or three!!!
What a waste of good ice cream. I’m sure he would of had lots of people and doggies to help eat it.
This reminds me of Candid Camera — hey! a great idea for a Turkey Hill ad! lol
Very cute
I wonder how many flavors were in his cone. It had to be staged for no one could have walked very far balancing all those scoops. The Ice Cream Journal certainly finds the most unusual films and stories on ice cream. It keeps us entertained.
I have a hard time balancing two scoops.
Ho my, I would love to try that. Its like being in ice cream heaven! I never seem to get enough ice cream, thats one way to get it all!!!!
Cool video. I always like seeing what will be on the Ice Cream Journal.
Sure could use on of those dips today, its hot here near 90 degrees today.
He must have the same problem as I do–decisions, decisions….
I tried it with 7 scoops, I now have a cleaning bill from two people.
that was the lamest and stupidest video it would have fallen way before his front door and how the hell would the ice cream man stack it that tall??? so retarted
