That’s right, today is Ernie’s birthday! Turkey Hill’s own “Einstein of Ice Cream” is celebrating in true Ernie fashion by putting in a full day’s work here at the Dairy. Don’t worry, he’s not wearing the hat you see him with above. (Trust me, we tried.)

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MINCEMEAT

Happy October! Even though autumn started nine days ago, now’s the time when it really starts feeling like fall. The leaves have started changing colors here in Lancaster County and the weather has taken a brisk turn (mid-60s and cloudy today). By the way, the photo above is a caramel pumpking pie with mince meat ice cream. Yes, mincemeat ice cream. We’re not sure what type of mincemeat is in there. Is it the “chopped fruit and spices” kind, or the kind with chopped fruit, spice and bits of meat? Hmmmm…
