12 DAYS OF ICE CREAM (DAY 2): GIFT IDEAS FOR ICE CREAM LOVERS

Posted by: Turkey Hill Team

snowconeIf you’re like many of us here at Turkey Hill Dairy, you’re a little (or a lot) behind in your Christmas shopping. Don’t worry, we’re here to help. We’ve scoured the internet for five of the best gifts to get the ice cream lover in your life and listed them below. If you order in the next few days, they should be here by Christmas!

SNOW CONE MACHINE - Okay, this isn’t technically an “ice cream” gift, but snow cone machines are still pretty cool and this one from Nostalgia Electrics ($59.99) would help satisfy any ice cream lover’s sweet tooth.

FANCY ICE CREAM BOWLS - Hey, you love your ice cream, right? So it makes sense to eat it out of something that says “I take my desserts seriously!” This set of six Bormioli Rocco Jerba ice cream bowls ($32 to $36, available in clear or blue) will say that loud and clear.

boxFAKE ICE CREAM – What ice cream lover doesn’t want an ice cream sundae piled high with whipped cream and chocolate syrup? Now they can have it 24/7 thanks to this very real looking fake three-scoop sundae ($22.94)!

10 POUNDS OF SPRINKLES! - That’s right, TEN POUNDS of sprinkles ($24.75). That’s a lifetime supply of sprinkles (or, for some people, jimmies). If the ice cream lover in your life is really good, tell them the lifetime supply of ice cream might follow next year.

AN ICE CREAM TIE - Sure, it’s another tie for dad, but it’s not just any tie, it’s an ice cream tie ($14.32). Okay, so maybe he’ll only wear it on special occasions and trips to the ice cream shop, but we’re willing to bet he’ll get a lot of compliments along the way!

By the way, don’t forget to stop by the Ice Cream Journal tomorrow night (Wednesday) between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. for our second Ice Cream Journal Ice Cream Party! The theme for this party is Turkey Hill seasonal flavors (Egg Nog, Ginger Snap or Rum Raisin), but feel free to bring a bowl of whatever flavor you like. During that time we’ll all meet here on the blog and chat via the comments about the flavors. We’ll also have some trivia contests with prizes (free ice cream). See you then!

12daysSOAP

TODAY’S PRIZE: Not only does ice cream make you feel better when you eat it, but now it can make you feel better when you bathe with it. That’s right, bathing with ice cream. Well, not real ice cream, but ice cream soap. One comment chosen at random from this entry will win this squeaky clean prize. Good luck!

I am not so much behind on my Christmas shopping, but I am behind on my blogging! I don’t know how I could possibly miss the first day of the 12 day ice cream count-down to Christmas. I look forward to it every year, and even dedicate the entire month of december to my favorite frosty treats, and try to get in as my new flavors as possible.
But I guess I should look to the positive that I only missed one day and can jump right into the countdown, and just eat an extra serving of ice cream today! (ah only 25 more minutes left, I better go scoop now :)
