Are you ready for the next Cow Patrol?

The Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association is an organization that represents more than 7,200 family-owned dairy farms throughout the mid-Atlantic region. And since Turkey Hill is a passionate supporter of local dairy farms, we were happy to help out with the Dairy Association’s recent “Cow Patrol” promotion.

The contest took place on Friday, July 20. During the promotion, the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association’s Twitter and Facebook followers were encouraged to tweet and post their location. Later that day, the Dairy Association chose one winner, who was treated to a surprise Turkey Hill Ice Cream party along with 100 of her friends and co-workers.

The winner of the Cow Patrol party was a Harrisburg dairy fan named Nakeya. She’s second from the left in the photo above, along with some members of the Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association’s Cow Patrol team.

To stay in the loop about the date and location of the next Cow Patrol contest, feel free to follow the Dairy Association on Twitter and Facebook.

  9. Jim in SOMD says:

The best reason for not participating is that I live in Southern Maryland and I am positive that they are not coming through here just so I would have a chance to get in the contest. Hwoever, if they did, I do not twitter and I do not have, or plan to get, a facebook account.

We owe a lot to these dairy farms. And I know Turkey Hill agrees with this statement. Too bad they all cannot be treated to a Turkey Hill ice cream party.

  11. Caroline of Manalapan says:

Nakeya forgot to invite me. I remember back in the early 70′s when my daughter was about 3 or 4 we visited a dairy farm in NY and when she saw the cows she asked “who painted them?” That daughter now is an art teacher.

  12. David Rosenbaum says:

Those Holstein pattern aprons are ‘udderly’ appropriate for Cow Patrol.

Terrific idea to give a company an ice cream treat.

However, don’t forget other people who each your ice cream every day faithfully, we deserve some ice cream too.

I cannot get enough of “Chocolate Moose Tracks” ice cream, I can eat a half gallon in a couple of days, bad person.

Thanks for thinking of other people.
