Last month, we asked a simple question: Do you remember the first time you tried Turkey Hill Ice Cream. Many of you couldn’t remember the specific date or year because it was so long ago, but you do remember that it was a joyous occasion.
Our September Ice Cream Fan of the Month is one of those people. Her name is Ann, and she had this to say about her first taste of Turkey Hill:
“It’s been more than 20 years since we had our first Turkey Hill ice cream. So far we haven’t found even one flavor that we don’t like, but we promise to keep trying every container that we can get our hands on! Keep the terrific flavors coming!”
We’ll definitely keep the terrific flavors coming, Ann. That’s our promise to you! We also have a follow-up to our original question. If you don’t remember the first time you had Turkey Hill Ice Cream, do you remember the last time you had some? If you do, when was it, and what flavor did you have?

If you’ve got a technical question about the ice cream making process or some other inquiry about the nuances of America’s favorite treat, chances are Ernie has the answer. He might not be able to answer all questions, but he’ll try his best and some may be featured on the Ice Cream Journal.
congratulations, Ann!
The last time I had Turkey Hill Ice Cream was this past Thursday. I had a dish of choco mint chip and it was sooooo good!
Last night! I finally got to try Whoopie Pie. Whoopie! lol I especially loved the marshmallow creme in there. Mmm….
congrats Ann, you are a real winner just for eating turkey hill
Easy question to answer. I had Turkey Hill this morning in my coffee. I put a big scoop of nonfat vanilla fudge frozen yogurt into my cup of coffee and had the best latte ever.
Congratulations Ann. Most recent day I had TH ice cream was last Friday the 14 th, it was Vanilla and since I wanted a sundae, I added Hot Fudge Sauce and Sprinkles to. It was oh so yummy. Of course, all TH flavors are delicious. I’m going to emulate Ann and try all the flavors.
Last night was the last time — but then every night is Turkey Hill night — that’s how I get my daily dairy!
!/2 hr ago, I had coffee and when that box got all my good wife got out a new box of strawberry , what a way to finish out a meal, :–)

my last time was just last night–celebrating my 32nd wedding anniversary—we had cake and Turkey Hill Party Cake ice cream. Tried that flavor just a few weeks ago for the first time and it has become a huge favorite with our whole family. Thanks!!
Ah yes…the last time I had Turkey Hill Ice Cream was this past summer in NY. One of my friends was raving over Turkey Hill Ice Cream and said I should try it. Ha…I grew up on Turkey Hill Ice Cream! Loved it then and still love it now.
Just want to say: Congratulations, Ann!!!
Congratulations Ann! I bought to containers of Turkey Hill today. Butter Pecan for my sister and Rocky Road for me – I was hoping to get Whoopie Pie but my store did not have any – I will keep looking.
The last time I had Turkey Hill ice cream? That’s easy! Last night with fresh peaches. Nobody can beat your Vanilla Bean. My wife and I eat some almost every night. It sells quickly, so we stock up!
About an hour ago I had some French Wanilla.

The first time I ate TH had to be in our home after dinner. I probably bought it on sale or with a coupon or both and been hooked on it since.
Last week was the last time I had TH ice cream. It was your Orange Swirl. Very good. It is my second favorite after Mint Chocolate Chip. Oh, congratulations, Ann!
I have my Turkey Hill every night. It’s the first thing I do when I get home from my 30-45 minute commute. Nothing like it!
yummy
It’s easy to remember when the last time was that I had Turkey Hill Ice Cream, last night and you only have to look in the freezer to see what flavor it was. It happens to be my favorite, peanut butter ripple. There is also chocolate in there for my husband who likes that better.
We had Peaches & Cream just last night!
Last night and it was Orange/swirl. I’m ready to finish it tonight and have tomorrow nights all ready in the downstairs freezer! Sempre Avanti! (always forward)
When we were in TH country about a month ago I had some coupons. I bought Sugar Free Vanilla for my husband and he finished his the other night with some strawberries. For myself, I purchased Skinny Minty and had an ice cream cone a day until it was gone. It was definitely a tasty treat!
I am so happy with my doctor. She said I had to eat more, to put on weight, and she suggested ice cream, but I said, ” NO! You mean TURKEY HILL ice cream .” Now there’s a prescription anyone can look forward to.
The last time I had Turkey Hill Ice Cream was the weekend before last- I enjoyed some of the Cherry Vanilla-a favorite as two of my favorite flavors are in one ice cream! Congratulations on winning, Ann!
Twenty years is a long time. It proves that you have many longtime followers. We will remain loyal to the end.
Congratulations Ann.
To answer the new question…I just ate Turkey Hill Frozen Yogurt Neopolitan 15 minutes ago. I eat ice cream or frozen yogurt every night.
CONGRATULATIONS ANN.
I HAD SOME YESTERDAY. HAD DENTAL SURGERY AND WAS TOLD I COULD EAT ICE CREAM. WOW WHAT A GOOD EXCUSE. HAD SOME CHERRY VANILLA. OH SO GOOD.
Just 1 hour ago, 11 p.m., will have more when I get off the computer, then to bed. It is a nighitly ritule in this house. bedtime snack.
Every night at 10:00!!
last night before going to bed I ate a few spoonfuls of All Natural Chocolate T.H. ice cream! It’s become a ritual, can’t sleep without it! (so really it’s every night!)
This afternoon: vanilla, with a rhubarb-strawberry drizzle on it inside a hard-form white chocolate cup. ‘Nuff said.
Oh ya I’m a workout freak but I am also an ice cream freak I have Turkey Hill twice a night. Right now I’m in a Light Chocolate Nutty Mouse Tracks and of course my favorite ice cream of all time your Light Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with that Brown Sugar and Molasses ice cream. It is soooo good!
Amen to Ann. Everyone has favorites, but I have never had a Turkey Hill flavor that I did not enjoy eating. Kepp up the good work and we, the consumers will keep buying the products.
