Facebook highlights and an Ultimate Flavor Tournament preview!

Posted by Turkey Hill Team on February 26th, 2014

March is almost here! Yes, that means Spring is right around the corner (but not soon enough!), but loyal Ice Cream Journal readers also know that it means the annual Ultimate Flavor Tournament is approaching, too. For those who don’t know, the tournament is designed to determine the best ice cream flavor in the Turkey Hill lineup.

Starting next week, flavors will face off against each other and your votes will determine which flavors advance to the next round. We’ll start with 32 flavors and narrow the field down until one flavor is crowned the Ultimate Flavor Tournament Champion! Stay tuned for the first round, which will start on Monday!

In other news, the past month has been a busy one on Turkey Hill’s Facebook page. If you haven’t liked Turkey Hill on Facebook yet, you definitely should! Here are a few highlights from the past month:

How’s this tea feeling? We’re guessing “just peachy!”

This fan describes his daughter as “the unofficial Turkey Hill poster child.”

Five simple words, one simple truth!

“The Butter Pecan? Haven’t seen it!”

Looking forward to the tournament but will NOT go on Facebook.
If Turkey Hill’s ultimate aim is to convert all of us to using it, I will no longer be conversant with Turkey Hill. My day is too busy to add Facebook…don’t mind a few minutes online with this site but will never do Facebook. I am more and more pleased as I shop…and I am reguilarly in five different supermarkets over the course of say two months…to find, FUNALLY , a variety of flavors offered from Turkey Hill. NOW, would love to be able to purchase the smaller items, the ice cream sandwiches and all that group. We seeme to be restricted to the larger containers…can no longer call them half gallons cuz they are not. We really do think Turkey Hill is the best and would love to samploe all that you offer without having to travel to PA to do so.

Having found Turkey Hill All Natural ice cream, it’s become my go-to. I love that I can recognize all the ingredients. I’m an ice cream purist…don’t need all those add-ins. The vanilla, coffee, and salted caramel are my favorites, and I will vote for any one of them over any other flavor. But like another commenter, I too won’t go on Facebook so I’ll never get a coupon there. Wish there were more coupons, because my favorite ice cream doesn’t go on sale as often as the other varieties do.

  41. Kaye says:
