Ultimate Flavor Tournament 2014 (Round Two): The Sweet 16

Posted by Turkey Hill Team on March 10th, 2014

Round two of the Ultimate Flavor Tournament is here! The Tournament started with 32 flavors last week and only 16 first round flavors have survived to face each other this week.

There were a few upsets last week, too. Fudge Ripple pull off a narrow 52 percent to 48 percent win over the heavily-favored Cookies ‘n Cream. Rocky Road also caused a stir by beating Double Dunker, which ended the fan favorite’s tournament journey in the first round. But the most surprising win of the week came from the Limited Edition Conference, when Limited Edition Whoopie Pie easily defeated Limited Edition Pumpkin Pie by grabbing a commanding 61 percent of the vote.

Below are this week’s eight “Sweet 16” match-ups. Cast your vote for your favorites using the polls on the right. As a reminder, don’t forget to leave a comment because, at the end of the tournament, we’ll be giving away a ONE YEAR supply of Turkey Hill Ice Cream to one commenter chosen at random!

You can also vote on the Turkey Hill Facebook page, where we’ll be posting each of our eight match-ups throughout the week and giving away a one year supply of ice cream to one Facebook fan at the end of the tournament!

Tin Roof Sundae vs. Fudge Ripple

Peanut Butter Ripple vs. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Rocky Road vs. Dutch Chocolate

Chocolate Marshmallow vs. Yankees Pinstripe Brownie Blast

All Natural Salted Caramel vs. All Natural Vanilla Bean

All Natural Chocolate vs. All Natural Butter Almond (Limited Edition)

  15. Janice Dean says:

I love Turkey Hill Ice Cream! Thanks and good luck:)

  16. Isabel says:

My personal favorite was the Limited Edition All Natural Raspberry but they are not even selling that anymore. This is unfortunate because it was the BEST FLAVOR MADE!!

  17. Mike G. says:

Too many pure chocolate lovers; we need a mixture

  18. Marilyn says:

Most of my favorites didn’t make it to this round. I’ve got food sensitivities so my favorites are dictated by avoiding those. Probably won’t bother placing opinion next time.

Also, I think it would be swell if you let us mark each duo all at once instead of the whirlygig that shows each result. I could wait to see all the results once I’ve voted each item.

    Thank you.

  19. Phyllis says:

I love all the flavors. It’s so hard to vote…..and now I need some Ice Cream!
