A lot of folks don’t know this, but ice cream makes a tasty ingredient in so many desserts. That’s the inspiration behind our 2014 Ultimate Recipe Contest, which challenges you to use our ALL NATURAL ICE CREAM in any recipe you’d like.

Send us your recipes and we’ll choose four finalists — each of which will receive a one-month supply of ice cream. Your votes will determine which of those finalists wins the grand prize of a ONE YEAR SUPPLY of Turkey Hill Ice Cream!

You can create any recipe – cookies, cakes, drinks, or whatever you’d like – and the recipe should include any flavor of Turkey Hill’s All Natural ice cream as a key ingredient.

That’s it! No need to actually prepare the recipe or take a photo of it. Just email your recipe, along with your name and address, to  icecreamjournal@gmail.com before Monday, September 22. Like we said earlier, we’ll choose four finalists to win a one month supply of ice cream and you’ll choose the winning recipe, which will take home a ONE YEAR SUPPLY of ice cream!

The best part? You can submit as many recipes as you’d like. Good luck!

  13. Lisa Kerstein says:

    Homemade Frozen Drink

Ingredients: skim milk, lite chocolate syrup, lite ice cream, fat free whipped cream, ice cubes, blender.

You should use your own personal preferences of course and put in as much or as little of the ingredients as you wish. You can use any type of Turkey Hill Ice Cream.

Preferences I use: about 1 and 1/2 cups of milk, about 3 cups of ice, 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, and about 2 cups of ice cream (we like using either Turkey Hill deep chocolate, Whoopie pie, or Cookies and Cream). Put all in a blender and blend until ice appears to be crushed. Can add more of any of the ingredient if you want to make more. This should make about 3-4 glasses. After poured into glasses, top with whipped cream and you can even add chocolate drizzle. It’s delicious so enjoy!

Dutch chocolate no sugar added ice cream,,take it out of the freezer for 10 minutes to make it easy to spread, bring 4 sheets of fillo dough and brush them with light butter for crunch and put them on top of each other and put them in a sheet pan and cut them down the middle and then in half and bake them in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes and let them cool and then top each piece with the ice cream and stack them up and top them with melted semi sweet chocolate morsels and chopped peanuts and slivered almond and enjoy

  38. Diane Baum says:

Two freshly baked giant chocolate chip cookies, one scoop of your fave #turkeyhill ice cream placed between cookies. I go with your chocolate. sprinkle top side of cookie with fresh berries, a dab of hot chocolate sauce and a dab of whip cream!!!!!! works best if cookies are slightly warm, heat cookies in microwave for about 3 seconds and ENJOY

  39. Nancy S says:

Using a blender combine 4 cups turkey hill all natural vanilla bean ice cream and 1 cup crushed pineapple ( include the juice in measurement) blend until desired consistency is reached. We like ours thick so we only go about 10-15 seconds!

  40. Kelli C. says:

Old Fashioned ice cream log: My Granny used to make a chocolate cake in a sheet pan and while it was still warm she would sprinkle it with powdered sugar and roll it up with a dish towel, to keep it from sticking you could use parchment paper, let the Turkey Hill vanilla bean ice cream soften, unroll cake after its cooled and spread a layer of T.H. ice cream inside, roll back up and freeze for 3 hours. Frost with chocolate frosting leaving lines in it to resemble a log and sprinkle with chocolate shavings…Yummy and fun
Any of the great flavors would work

  41. Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding
In a deep sauce pan place about 1 lb. long grain white rice and cover with water to about 1 inch over rice. Cover and slow cook over low heat..stirring often until water is evaporated into the rice and the kernels are soft. When rice is fully cooked I add white sugar to taste. Make it as sweet as you like. Then add about 2 tsps vanilla extract and mix well. Lastly I add about 1/2 container (half gallon) Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. If you feel it needs more..add more. To serve I put in individual bowls and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.

  42. Tracy says:

All natural coffee with Nutella and walnuts best ever

For a while there were a number of social media marketing “gurus” who were touting apps that automatically favorited posts with whatever keywords that you selected. Since then I’ve completely discounted favorites as an applause metric.
