January prize: What’s your New Year’s resolution?

Posted by Turkey Hill Team on January 3rd, 2017

january-3-prizeThe new year has arrived and we don’t about you, but we’re pretty excited about what 2017 has in store. Like we said in our last blog entry, 2016 was an eventful year, thanks to the launch of Haymakers, our 85th anniversary celebration and our Preserve a Farm program, but the coming year might be even better.

Our hope is that 2017 is better for all you as well. What are your plans and, on a related note, what are your New Year’s resolutions?

Regular readers of the blog know that one of our favorite New Year’s resolutions is encouraging people to try their hand at making homemade ice cream, and our first prize of 2017 will help with that.

The Nostalgia electric ice cream maker you see on the right makes four quarts of ice cream, frozen yogurt or gelato and it does it with a vintage-looking wooden body combined with an easy-to-use electric motor. According to the Amazon description, “simply add your ingredients into the aluminum canister and place in the middle of the bucket, layer with ice and salt and let the electric motor do the rest.”

That’s it! If you’d like to win this ice cream make for yourself and make your new year a little tastier (and a lot more fun), leave a comment below with your 2017 New Year’s resolution. We’ll choose one comment at random to win this ice cream maker along with some free Turkey Hill Ice Cream for you to snack on while you’re whipping up a batch of your own. Good luck!
