Ultimate Flavor Tournament (Round One): Vote and comment for a chance to win a one-year supply of ice cream!

We’re halfway through the first round of the Ultimate Flavor Tournament, which means 16 retired Turkey Hill Ice Cream flavors have been narrowed down to eight based on your votes. Another eight former flavors have joined the competition (details and descriptions are below) and are ready for your votes in the polls on the right.

Cast your vote and leave a comment to be entered to win a ONE YEAR SUPPLY of ice cream! We’re also posting match-ups on our Facebook page, so follow us there and cast your votes for another chance to win the grand prize.

Muddy Sneakers vs. Oatmeal Raisin

MUDDY SNEAKERS (1997-1998) – White chocolate flavored ice cream with chocolate, caramel, and peanut candies with swirls of caramel

OATMEAL RAISIN (1996-1999) – Cinnamon ice cream swirled with oatmeal raisin cookies

Peanut Butter Marshmallow vs. Peaches ‘n Cream

PEANUT BUTTER MARSHMALLOW (1997-2007) – Peanut butter ice cream swirled with chewy chunks of peanut butter cookie dough and whipped marshmallow

PEACHES ‘N CREAM (1995-2014) – Peach ice cream with sweet peach slices

Pecan Snapper vs. Pineapple Upside Down Cake

PECAN SNAPPER (1998-1999, 2001) – Butter pecan ice cream swirled with pecans, milk chocolate chips, and creamy caramel

PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE (2005-2008) – Premium ice cream with swirls of sweet pineapple and graham cookies

Raspberry Shortcake vs. Root Beer Float

RASPBERRY SHORTCAKE (2013) – Vanilla ice cream with shortcake pieces and a raspberry swirl

ROOT BEER FLOAT (1997-1999) – A refreshing combination of our original vanilla ice cream and old fashioned root beer sherbet

    Every time I do this voting, it makes me sad because I”ve never even heard, let alone tried, 99% of these TH flavors! I’m thinking TH ice cream wasn’t even available in our area back when these flavors were sold. How sad,,, thats why I think they should ALL be brought back again!

    All flavors sound good to me. Ice cream is my all time favorite dessert and Turkey Hill is the best! Would love to see a coffe flavored ice cream with fudge, carmel, and almonds.

      Did you get to try Dark Chocolate Caramel Espresso last fall? It had all that you wanted except the almonds, and was the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It was only a limited edition – please help lobby to bring it back full time! 🙂

  54. I never heard of any of these flavors. The fruity flavors sound good to me. It’s a hard decision, I’ll go with Peaches and Cream. That’s always refreshing.

  68. One whole year of Turkey Hill, my heart is all a-flutter ‘nilla, chocolate, berry shortcake, root beer, peanutbutter. All those flavors, plain or fancy, are creamy and delish. I’ll hunt me down my favorite spoon and use my biggest dish.

    Well – for voting purposes, Raspberry Shortcake gets my vote. For eating purposes, it’s Deep Dark Chocolate hands down . . . and doggone it! but that that “Seasonal Favorite” has apparently just gone out of season! (Not that there aren’t several other TH varieties that I’m fond of – but my heart is true and Deep Dark Chocolate is my bestest gal — even if she’s taken to vacation (in France ?) at the moment.)

    Very difficult decisions today. I love both pineapple and pecans. That was the worst choice to make, for me. I really would like both these flavors (Pecan Snapper and Pineapple Upside Down Cake ) to be available.

    Funny (well not so funny) story, my husband was eating peaches n’ cream and gave our very young beagle a bite. A little while later she got hives so bad. Now she is a big healthy 10 y/o beagle named Sadie Mae.
